2- Why the hell doesn't anyone even know this show exists? This and Dragon Prince seem to be both successful and COMPLETELY under the radar wherever I look.
3- Post female characters, I'm making reference sheets so /aco/ can do commissions, I already have Ivy's down.

No, they're not. They're moderately popular. You're mistaking them for the Stretch Armstrong cartoon that got cancelled.

Because Netflix is unironically killing animation The simultaneous release isn't even that bad, compared to the utter lack of promotion and support. Their social game is really fucking bad, and it's quickly abandoned. Fans do all of the promotion work, if the show even managed to accumulate any. They just plop out a show without any care. It's just a thumbnail in their catalog to them. This is not the first show from Netflix that has been left out to die. I'm just really fucking salty that super drags was instakill in us, it had fucking zero support. it's fun and it has nice style. seemed to do better in brasil, but still eh. It's like they don't let animation studios post the really good stuff, ref sheets, art, concept and development, just some new art for promotion sake. fuck

I don't see how what Netflix is doing is worse than any of the networks where fans literally don't know if/when shows are still in production or not.
It depends on the shows and if they have their own PR campaign. Dreamworks did a decent job promoting their shows. Dragon Prince benefits from previous goodwill and a strong Twitter account.
