The creator of the show went on a content posting rampage and revealed more details of the show. Also we got more details of its production, apparently the show (or at least a part of it) is being animated in France, here's some of the stuff he has posted recently:
The animation looks real nice. Hope the show is good.

>Nick >making anything good outside of nostalgia pandering these days
Last time I watched Nick was The Jungle Movie and I'm still waiting for Zim and Rocko.
Noah Ortiz
I hope for good numbers on its premiere day. It's the only thing that could save the show, people need to tell animation networks that we want good quality shows.
Wyatt Long
Is there anything I can do as a non-american to help with this particular kind of thing? I feel like foreign popularity has 0 effect on these things at all.

>good quality shows it's "if you die in the game you die in real life" the series. it isn't quality at all.

>Who cares about one of the few original Nicktoons in recent years that actually shows promise, meaning its success could possibly slap the Nick execs back into reality by realizing that “finding the next SpongeBob” shouldn’t be their main goal? And even if the premise doesn’t sound that interesting, the key to a show’s quality is execution, user.
>it’s all about execution This. You can have the most questionable or even downright dumbass premise for a show/movie, but it’s the actual talent of the crew behind it that determines its potential for being great.
Which is exactly why I said Glitch Techs could break the mold and prove to Nick that they don’t need to exclusively aim for more goofy comedies starring weak SpongeBob clones.
>power armor and shades over their work clothes >work at videogame store >fight neon cats and skellingtons in their free time >EPIC ENTRANCE it's soulless, terribly generic and overdone. It's Martin Mystery/Supernoobs/Code Lyoko again..
>making overly cynical assumptions based on the surface-level footage presented in the intro Opinion discarded. You’re the kind of person who will rarely enjoy any new piece of media, and I feel no sympathy for you or your negative attitude.
>the intro is not a valid representation of what the show is like. ok, genius.
Ryan Morris
So this is just Neo Dan Kuroto's new plan right?

>the creator of Fanboy and Chum Chum is also responsible for this wow

See, I knew you’d say that.
While intros are meant to represent their respective shows, most are only surface-level and show the bare minimum of what to expect (the lead characters, their setting, their usual exploits).
SU’s intro doesn’t feature the Diamond drama nor does it feature Steven’s existential crisis regarding whether Rose is still alive or not. Rick and Morty’s just reads “wacky space adventures with grandpa and boy, hilarity and danger ensues.”
Intros represent their shows, sure, but they’re also usually designed to pull in viewers with smooth animation, pretty colors, a catchy theme song, or all three. Glitch Techs could end up being so much more than what’s presented in the intro (which Nick likely opted for to try in pull in their target audience).
Point is, you’re being such a buzzkill about a cute, harmless cartoon that shows so much potential for Nick.
>never forget that Nickelodeon passed up Adventure Time for Fanboy and Chum Chum
Connor Anderson
'Twas a different era, anons. Silly cartoons with hyperactive MCs were all the rage back in the late 2000s.
Hopefully, Eric Robles learned from the generally negative feedback towards Fanboy & Chum Chum while also aiming for a new series more like the semi-serialized, occasionally anime-inspired, dramatic cartoons that are popular nowadays.
It all comes down to the writing being good and hopefully not too cliche, given this setup we're going for here. Because, otherwise - the art-style and animation already fucking got that covered.
Austin Baker
My best guess is to buy merch or episodes if/when they come out in your country. Execs here still only believe in dated concepts like toy sales.
If both the main characters were guys, this show wouldn't even get as half as many threads as it does now.
I'm glad this show is only getting one season so I don't have to deal with seeing "Do you like her show, Yea Forums?" "Please watch her show!" for over a year.

Boost the show’s popularity by posting about it on social media and letting as many people as you know (IRL or online) about it. If Glitch Techs turns out to be good, at least.
Blake Lopez
In terms of art style this looks already better than half of the animated stuff nowadays. Just need to add decent to good writing and we would have an overall great product.
AT only became a turd sandwich when muto and sugar took a shit in it
Juan Harris
Yea but look at it. Viewers had to be convinced that it was not cheap shit based entirely on the look alone. Adventure Time really did look like middle school tier doodles on notebook paper. If viewers think so, the executives will definitely think so. They grab everything at face value. So when it is down to explosive colorful CGI series vs noodle arm doodles (and in 2008 where this was untested and no one else had noodle arm shows yet) it was obvious what they would pic.
Austin Turner
>that animation i am fucking IN
Its fucking fantastic to see cartoon exploring with angles and different motions >Rise of TMNT >OK KO >now this
Hope the execution is A+ and not just another generic show to fill space at Nick.

I bet that name alludes to or came directly from a more sophisticated real given name - e.g "Quintus" - after some historical figure that just so happens to have that name.
Robert Price
With all the time and money they invested in TMNT 2012, you would think they'd put effort into not having their next big toon being another Spongebob.
>living in shame of your waifu choice
lol pussyfaggot
Eli Johnson
That's not what waifushaming is. It's the nu/co/ mantra of "a cartoon having waifus is bad" (unless it's one heavily shilled here, ie SU).

Maybe, but I'm betting on a nickname, just like how Dipper's name was not used at all throughout GF.

>sugar Rebecca was one of the main people who made AT great in the first place. Muto, too, but he really wasn’t meant to be showrunner.
Camp Weedonwantcha. It's a webcomic, although a pilot was pitched to Nick.
Cooper Rodriguez
>Camp Weedonwantcha. >May 4, 2018 dang
Grayson Gray
I've seen mentions of both Maven Animation (a recent korean studio involved with the Invader Zim movie) and Flying Bark Productions (the australian studio that animates Rise of the TMNT) also being involved
Christopher Brown
seasons 7-8 are the best Muto seasons and are outright good. Muto was inexperienced at showrunning for the latter half of 5.2 and 6, while CN gimped 9 by making it so goddamn short
Brandon Watson
great stuff. Seems like they're hinting at the possibility of production starting up again pending online fan reception?
