Whats Image?

Fuck that snake is about to get eaten by the bigger snake why isn't anyone doing anything about it?

British comics will be dead in 10 years, American in 20.

If Judge Dredd didnt exist then british comics would already be dead.

According to Kirkman, four years ago

A publisher of print books, illustrated and structured in a manner similar to storyboards. They’re growing in sales numbers, and printing more books every year, the opposite is happening to the publisher called DC. Eventually, image will start making more money that DC.

Who are you? My math teacher?

Yes, now tell me how to graph an exponential function.

When walking dead gets a movie.

>Thinking Image doesn't have the same problem as DC. Overreliance on one IP and very little else that will eventually fuck them when people lose interest.

If the 900th season of Walking "Why isn't this show" Dead didn't put them over, I don't think a movie will

At this rate Image will surpass Marvel shortly after and be the biggest one of the 3 companies.

Pretty easy you just make the function values and the slope equal.

>How much longer until Image overtakes DC?

It won't matter if they overtake marketshare because DC has well-known properties that people will buy. Image has creator owned shits that almost never get finished .

>never gets finished
A medium-encompassing issue.

>It won't matter if they overtake marketshare because DC has well-known properties that people will buy.
But they aren’t. They keep cutting down on the number of books printed to salvage their sales numbers. Successful companies don’t do that. Image is expanding like a fungus right now, and not just their bigger titles. Miniseries like God Country and the like are picking up steam in bookstores, I honestly don’t even consider it Indie at this point, Image takes up at least two fifths of the shelf space in the average LCS or Bookstore. Marketshare is the majority of the battle.

you're forgetting Image doesn't hire a bunch of overpaid "superstar" "writers"

uh... x= y * y
and then i just dot the numbers on the grid and connect them with a line.

They pay their writers more money, actually.

production wise Image has already overtaken DC, they ship more titles but DC is killing them in sales
If Image could get TWD out twice a month and Saga, Paper Girls and TW+TD out monthly would be a start, the average Image books sells between 8-3k, where DC cancels anything under 12k.

They are going to shot the bigger snake afterwards

Anyone know where I can get that scarf?

It’s handmade. You have to crochet yourself one.

Or buy one from some chick on deviantart or Etsy.

In terms of sales? If DC go ahead and stick with their 'New-22' then not long, purely because they'll be putting out so many more books.

But... afterwards will be too late. Why is life suffering?
