>First two episodes tease a small cast of interesting characters having fun adventures in a magical world with some cute worldbuilding >Throws it all out in favor of being every other 'kid fights monsters while balancing school' show Bummer.
People have been really excited about this, but why? It doesn't seem like anything special to me.
School is something kids relate to. It might be trite in cartoons but when you have child protagonists, what do you expect? You either have to be set in summer like Ed Edd n Eddy or Phineas and Ferb or have an excuse as to why the main character doesn't attend one like Steven Universe. Or in lieu of children, have manchildren like Johnny Bravo.
Alexander Martinez
I hated that shit when I was a kid though. I already have to go to school myself, now I need to watch cartoon characters go to school?
Colton Campbell
kids *hate* school centered cartoons when something more interesting is happening in the background, though.
Case in point, everyone loved Recess because it was about mundane day to day life at school. Everyone had issues with shows like American Dragon and Juniper Lee because there was cool supernatural shit happening all the time but the man character had to do homework or ask a girl to a dance. Shit sucked.
David Cox
I agree, I think that school settings are boring and use the same tropes that have existed for decades (rich kids, bullies, nerds, cheerleaders) with almost no innovation. But ultimately it's up to the show to create a convincing enough reason to avoid using them.
Adam Brooks
and whats with all the rich british kids going to american public schools in cartoons
Jordan Garcia
Let me guess...this shit is also "serialized"? I hate how every new cartoon feel the need to be "serialized" and "deep" dismizing the comfiness of the episodic stories, I miss wpisodic shows like Batman the animated series and Swat Kats.
Grayson Hall
>meteorite fall through the sky and destroys the school while no one was there to see it >well I guess we have to find something to fill that free time with our kid character right?
Cooper Baker
it does not try to be deep, and it is serialized cause the books it was based on were.
Christian Watson
>it does not try to be deep Thats not what I read on the other forum.
Jonathan Flores
The school centered episode I remember is only the baby troll one. Others are more focusing on the stuff of Sparrow Scout, Trolberg and the forest.
Austin Brooks
>Balancing school
Don't we only ever get one episode of that
Every other "balancing" episode sound is about the scouts she's a part of and that serves for them to go out and end up adventuring
Tyler Reyes
Anyone got a Mega for the series? All I can find are poorly seeded torrents.
Joseph Anderson
Joke's on you, I only watched the first two episodes.
Connor Martin
Or you can just focus on the time when they're not in school?
Jaxon Butler
>Muslim girls You mean the background characters?
Nolan Mitchell
>Kids hate that Says... you?
Carter Hill
Yes says him and he's not lying. The idea of giving kids more of what they're DESPERATELY TRYING TO ESCAPE is asinine.
Ryan Moore
Don't forget about True Tail. Bunch of people tried to pitch a show about cute animal characters going on adventures straight from DnD. Nickelodeon agreed, but only if they changed the setting to a school.
It's the problem with Netflix series in general >"Oh here is a plot you should care about, which doesn't really fucking matter" >"Butt, fart and other simple jokes? FUCK THAT SHIT! Let's copy Disney and make everything quirky, but not too much, so it that the show remains boring enough for the WORLD BUILDING and PLOT, because it's KIDS CARTOOOOOOOOON. I play video games, if I want do this. I watch cartoons when I want to turn my head off.
Ryan Butler
Still less then in anime
Colton Jenkins
OP just stated that this was a show about a kid fighting monsters.
School isn't even a major factor in more than one or two episodes. You just turned a bunch of people off from a really lovable series for no good reason.
Gavin Campbell
I want to step on Hilda's cheeks and press until I hear her teeth crack!
Hudson Lee
But user, we NEEDED the obligatory two tagalongs for the main character!
Blake Jenkins
This ridiculous forced need for "unique" is adhd retardation, proper execution is all that matters, tropes don't make anything bad unless the subject matter itself is bad, there is absolutely no reason to be complaining, it's weak critique.
Luis Rodriguez
Well watch those cartoons then idiot, slapstick isn't the only type of animation content allowed to exist.
Lincoln Long
Show needed more Hilda and David duo stuff. Less Frida everything. Girl nearly ruined my enjoyment of the series. Episode 4 was garbage thanks to her and the whole ghost cleaning room thing was beyond infuriating. BESIDES Frida, I liked the show well enough. Don't hate her but she was the worst part.
Samuel Williams
Just because you don't see them in your neighborhood doesn't mean other people don't see them every so often. It feels a lot more naturally done and not politically oriented unlike the majority of other diversity moments in modern cartoons where where everyone is gay and in front of the camera rather than the background like that girl. plus she's cute
Oliver Parker
That's hot, user. Punch her throat from me afterwards.
Kevin Watson
Her face is also pretty punchable.
Jeremiah Ramirez
I was interested until it turned. Its just so boring, I thought it was going somewhere but apparently not
Colton Campbell
I live in Minnesota, and we have a lot of Muslims. I'd wish they'd portray Muslim girls to have siblings, because most of them have big families. Just give the Muslim girl a brother name Mohammed and you perfectly represent Muslims.
Brayden Diaz
Well, the other forum is wrong
Angel Russell
Your forgetting that Trollberg is just some English town dressed up as Scandinavia
Ryan Davis
Every time I watch through the show (probably seen it 4 times now) I’m always amazed at how fast it flies by, I never find myself pausing or looking at my phone in boredom, it’s always just a very engaging pleasurable thing to watch. It oozes a really nice atmosphere and despite being “comfy” it doesn’t shy away from horror elements at all either
Alexander Hernandez
I honestly need a grounded element to relate to or else I find myself unable to give a shit, that’s why stuff set in the distant past (especially high fantasy junk) is so immensely dull for me. I’m sure this is true for other people, plus at this point in my sad adulthood I like “kids being kids” shows so I can reflect back on more positive times. If Hilda remained set in the woods and went for being solely contemplatively atmospheric I’d probably respect it a lot but not enjoy it as much
Aaron Howard
>Just because you don't see them in your neighborhood doesn't mean other people don't see them every so often. That doesn't mean that there should be. >It feels a lot more naturally done It would be natural if there were muslims screaming Allah Akbar, while beheading infidels. >and not politically oriented unlike the majority of other diversity moments in modern cartoons where where everyone is gay and in front of the camera rather than the background like that girl. The absolute state of western society/animation >plus she's cute Not an argument. >mfw this true Oh, no no no no....
One sixth of all people in the world are muslim. In a show with more than six characters you're likely to have a muslim. This is like complaining that a show has a white male in it somewhere, despite being a minority of the population.
Xavier Peterson
>Just because your house isn't filled with roaches doesn't mean other people don't see them constantly. Why shouldn't we portray homes in cartoons as being full of roaches?
>One sixth of all people in the world are muslim. One sixth of all people in the world are chinese, but I don't see a sudden surge in chinese people in comics, cartoons, television, and film.
Michael Fisher
I thought it teased at a much worse ripoff of Gravity Falls with a let's empower wamen ideology.
Alexander Bennett
Sauce?
Aiden Diaz
It’s got much more of a classic fantasy/mildly horrifying English kids’ book vibe than GF, which was basically The Simpsons with a mystery sideplot. Think the comics predate GF also
Julian Jackson
Also there’s nothing at all obnoxiously feminist about the show and if you refuse to watch something just because MC is female it leads me to believe you must be a flaming homosexual
Isaiah Nelson
Stfu, cuck.
Easton White
I’m sorry there’s not enough men in this show for you to masturbate to, user
Was Hilda's voice actor told to read flat and autistic?
Mason Miller
Her performance is very nuanced and subtle but that’s refreshing as hell for a kid VA, if you can’t hear the emotion in her voice it tells me you probably have trouble with accents or need everything to be cartoonishly exaggerated
Austin Price
I dunno she sounds kind of retarded. The only other thing I know the actor from is that dumb kid on game of thrones people like for some reason.
Can't read Korean but yeah that crossover with Rainbow Six Siege was legendary.
Julian Wilson
Why do people like Frida more than Hilda?
Robert Lopez
I mean The Meg was made specifically with chinese audiences in mind
David Reyes
Yes, and it turned out to be awful.
Ayden Bennett
yet it made over half a million
Owen Myers
I want to crucify Hilda!
Andrew Mitchell
>yet it made over half a million Yes, the only factor in how good a movie is how much it makes. I guess Transformers Age of Extinction is a perfect movie for you.
Thomas Rivera
That wasn't my point
Kevin Gonzalez
It doesn't really have much in common with GF. Hilda isn't a nerdy spazz like Dipper, and she isn't a wacky goofball like Mabel. GF started off with a big overarching mystery, while there isn't some larger objective for Hilda to explore, she just enjoys it. Magical creatures are something unknown and hidden in GF, while in Hilda they're basically part of the fauna that the townspeople are well aware of. The titular town of Gravity Falls is implied to be a rinky dink tourist trap of a town, while Hilda lives in a big city.
I didn't really see any "empower wamen" stuff, unless you consider a girl doing anything besides baking cupcakes SJW.
I hope it gets translated. Too bad it's impossible to storytime, the Twig parts were GOAT.
>Struts around like she's hot shit >Pushes around David because he's too pussy to stand up for himself >Has to be the best at everything and always be right >Patronizes Hilda and sees her more as someone to pitied than admired >Thought rooms fucking cleaned themselves >Attacked David when he pointed out how retarded that was >Hilda raises the dead and wrestles a ghost to get her book and ghost maid back, but when she fails Frida tells her she wishes they never met and tells David, her friend for years, to fuck off too >Doesn't speak to either of them for weeks, neglecting her scout duties in the process >Ends up hanging out with the fear eating nightmare spirits that were haunting her friends, with no explanation given Face it, she's not that great a friend.
Me too. Steven Universe used ones I liked in Season 1, and the show started looking really shitty when they began using scaled down versions of the normal models in far scenes more recently, especially when you see the thinner line-work of the small characters clash with the thick lines on the Diamonds. It looks like fucking PhotoShop.
Nigga it was a hilda comic. Jeez it wasn't even sexual. What is the point of a board called comics and cartoons if we can't post comics about cartoons?
You can't show anything that suspenseful these days cause people are too sensitive to see it through to the end. They need constant reassurance that things are going to be safe and fine for them to accept even one aspect of media.
All eastern fan-art must be banned now!
Julian Miller
meant for
Carter Anderson
>manga comic, >comic >Yea Forums-comics and cartoons
You mean in a show where hilda constantly tags along with either twig, raven, alfur or woodman such that frida and david show up like only half the time, and with frida's appearance halved even further?
Brandon Turner
Is there a mega for the show floating around?
Camden Rivera
That would have decidedly killed anything scary about her, which admittedly was never much to begin with
If the show had a naked background character swinging his dick around like a helicopter, would that be okay to you because it was only for a couple of seconds?
Jason Rivera
lol you are so fuckin mad
Hunter Carter
In a world where magic and spirits are the norm, I'd love to know if Hilda's world has stuff like djinn.
John Thomas
Yes. I'd even laugh cause that sounds hilarious.
Dominic Jenkins
how are muslims and nudity at all on the same level? you retards will get angry about anything
Jayden Thomas
Just wonder how the parents react when they find she is marra.
Ian Martinez
>how are muslims and nudity at all on the same level?
Both are a sin against Yahweh
Hunter Collins
>that hat
Oh Dipper, how low have you sunk.
Asher Reed
Steven Universe kind of doesn’t have any excuse for why Steven doesn’t go to school. He just plain doesn’t go to one, the show briefly recognizes that, and then they move on. There aren’t even any lines or episodes or scenes where anybody says “Steven’s gem training is more important!” It’s more like his dad just never thought to enroll him.
Camden Torres
There's a black/white couple onscreen like 42 seconds into the start of the first episode. It's an establishing shot for Trollberg. I actually laughed out loud since it seemed like a deliberate troll (as it were). Muslim girl barely exists as a character.
They're ticking off the required diversity checkboxes but not letting them actually affect things, which is nice to see. It's a solution I might come up with in the same circumstances.
Joseph Torres
If he can't have girls older then him then he'll get them younger.
William Harris
Does anyone else have trouble seeing trolberg as a city? I know it has skyscrapers and such but I just see it more like a medium sized town than a full blown city.
Noah Lopez
>it has skyscrapers It does? I thought it was just a small city with flats as it's highest buildings.
Nolan Scott
I live in a small city so it’s not weird to me. I get how people who are only familiar with very big cities could see a small city and not get how it counts, but the distinguishing factor between cities and towns is determined by population size. Once you have enough people in a big town, it stops being a town and officially becomes a city. So when your city is skirting that line, it can be hard to see it.
Aiden Carter
Stop shitposting Frida, we know it's you.
Jackson Cooper
It has a few, based on the intro titlecard and a couple episodes.
It's been in almost all hilda threads, search the archives
Aiden Rivera
>tumblr_*_*.png Wow, look at that, the Yea Forumsmblr meme is real
Ethan Gray
She was having a breakdown. In the following episodes she drops out of the class president election and stops attending scout meetings. Loss of interest in daily activities, anger, shattered self-image... these are all classic symptoms of depression. If the marras feed off negative emotions then it makes sense that they would try to get close to her and recruit her.
This was awesome character development and made me sympathize with her more, as opposed to Hilda, who just Mary Sues her way through the entire season.
She's strong, confident and smart, but also flawed and human.
Were you the lmoa guy in the last thread that refused to provide any arguments to support his points? I'm not asking for a repeat of that, you can keep your shit taste. Just wondering
Anthony Lewis
Damn I hate Frida so Godamn much.
Landon Roberts
Because it shows that the "mean older teenagers" are more or less just try-hards in bullying the younger kids around them and aren't as frightening once you really look at them.
Yep she kinda realizes she's a shithead though, and redeems herself at least. The episode where she wrecks her room was hilarious like "did you expect your room to just magically get clean?"
Anthony Nguyen
>a naked background character swinging his dick around like a helicopter Okay, now this is epic.
Justin Johnson
Your nig?
Ian Gonzalez
Honestly thatd be fun, but I think since Hilda focuses on european folklore [trolls and such] I don't know if a Djinn would appear since thats more of an Arabic/Islam thing.
Still would be cool though.
Joshua Bell
>Serialized. No thanks.
Colton Wright
>I'm not asking for a repeat of that, you can keep your shit taste. That's really generous of you. Don't you have a corner to cry into?
Wyatt Rivera
I think we discussed that like five threads ago. I would be cool to see thinks like genies in Hilda, but the show is obviously focused on european folklore, also, an user said that the genies are a western missconception of arabian culture, because they are haram.
Are they? And I don't browse Yea Forums much so I missed it. I googled Djinn to even check the origin, did someone seriously lie to me on the internet?
And yeah, but it was fun to see the show take on European folklore, as opposed to the usual American stuff. [Gravity Falls focused mostly on NA stuff, yet they never had Dipper and Mabel fight a Wendigo baka kids never experienced fighting a cannibal].
Christian Perez
Hilda only talked to Hilda in first place because she was the new girl and she could gain extra points because of that. she wouldn't give a fuck about her otherwise. Actually in the comics Frida barely interacts with Hilda.
>Hilda, who just Mary Sues Out of curiosity, aren't you the guy of the last thread who said she's a mary Sue but when we told you that we discussed that thing many threads ago went on autistic rage?
Do people commonly think Hilda is a big mary sue? I thought she was simply experienced with strange creatures but often spaghetti's her way through actual human interaction.
Eli Anderson
Not that scandinavia wouldnt be full of muslims as well.
Lincoln Robinson
Well, as Pearson said in a 2015 french comics festival, his main inspiration to create Hilda was the Icelanding conception of the elves (invisible creatures that lives in small houses) and the fact that actually 40% of the population of Iceland believe in them.
> it was fun to see the show take on European folklore Yeah, same, this show and how to train your dragon made me interested in scandinavian myths.
Angel Diaz
Oh yeah like, as a filthy american we get enough focus on our own folklore in television [Supernatural and Gravity Falls for one] but as far as the rest of the world goes, lately we don't get anything so Hilda was really refreshing and I reallllly should watch HTTYD already.
Levi Perez
As an user said in the last thread >Most of her adventures ends with "that's was pretty traumatic" >Some sparrow scouts doesn't like her because her odd behavior >She couldn't convice neither the mayor nor the first minister >Most of the creatures of her adventures doesn't like her
Ethan Lee
>HTTYD what's that?
Jaxson Ward
Marras are cute. It's probably like parents discovering their kid's drinking underage or smoking pot. It really depends on how strict they are.
See And yeah she's mostly just a kid who knows how to handle herself on the wild but really just has no idea when it comes to people who arent just her mom.
Heck the entire episode where Hilda gives David and her mom the Hex to make them successful shows that she literally has no forethought to the world around them.
Jacob James
There are lots of cities in the midwest US around 50,000-100,000 people that are the basis for and in rough approximation in size to your typical made-up American cartoon city, which tend to be small enough to make mapping them out and retaining spatial relation between locations manageable while big enough to have whatever buisnesses and amenities an episode’s plot happens to call for. Trollburg fits that mold, it just feels different for being based on European cities instead and having the old buildings and village comfiness you usually associate with the smaller towns typical in fantasy settings. In most episodes of The Simpsons Springfield feels rather modest too, we just know it isn’t because at this point they’ve used the “whatever the plot requires” point a hundred times over and given it all kinds of different districts and absurdly specialized retail stores
Matthew Brooks
where do you live that men such as that are more commonly observed than muslims
Nolan Green
Not him, but just because they're a sixth of the world's population, that doesn't mean the distribution is even.
Connor Price
>often spaghetti's her way through actual human interaction. She should, but she doesn't. She has zero problem fitting in.
>>She couldn't convice neither the mayor nor the first minister She did convince them, and then the giant stepped on her house, as the plot required.
>>Some sparrow scouts doesn't like her because her odd behavior >>Most of the creatures of her adventures doesn't like her Like who?
Ian Phillips
Hey, Marras are lewd AF.
Gabriel Wood
all I remember is that mary sue got mentioned and then a hildafag went into meltdown
Henry Wilson
I didn't mind it because I'm not American and it seemed like a vastly different experience. After seeing a billion shows like that though, I've grown sick of it. I actually like this trend. That said, only the first 2 and the last 3 episodes have an overarching plot, the rest can be viewed on their own without missing much.
Jonathan Reed
Nice.
Daniel Sullivan
from the way the colors fade, this looks like a panel from a silver ages comic.
Henry Diaz
>I actually like this trend. Not that user, but that is one of the main reasons I end up dropping a series. Even if I start from the beginning, I get burnt out on the story and end up missing a couple episodes so I never pick it back up because I'll be behind on the plot while trying to avoid spoilers. But if it were episodic, I could pick it up and drop it whenever.
Logan Brown
I've watched 3 episodes of this show so far. It seems interesting, but just bland enough for me not to be interested in watching it. Also, it feels like it's trying to target kids who like the outdoors too much. I'm not sure those kids even exist anymore.
Jacob Richardson
Id say give it a few more episodes, if its not your jam then you can just stop. It's a fun show but I can understand why people wouldnt like it.
Wyatt Gutierrez
Most shows are on Netflix or similar platforms though. You can watch any show, any time, at your own pace. Basically have your cake and eat it too.
Liam Martinez
As long as you can avoid talking about it without getting spoiled.
Woodman was one of the best parts. His attitude towards Hilda was golden and he just had a great voice.
Levi Campbell
he feels straight out of OTGW, not my favorite because I’m a lolifag but his presence certainly adds to the show and he still feels like an interesting mystery
Aiden Hill
I'd say keep watching, but the three first episodes are the best ones, so If you didn't like them, then I don't think you could enjoy the rest of the series. The other episodes are more focused on urban scenarios but still there are many outdoors moments.
>> 106091227 There are many interesting things about woodman that could be answered in later seasons, I mean, every creature that is shown so far belongs to a species: the giangs, the elfs, the trolls, the limbworm, but that is not the case of woodman , the only thing we know about him is that Hilda and her mother are not the only people to whom he brought wood.
>Hilda only talked to Hilda in first place because she was the new girl and she could gain extra points what a crime
Elijah Martinez
Whenever I hear Alfur refer to the elf counties (plural) it reminds me of this, must be a British thing to talk about your native land in those terms youtu.be/Xpfw6VJA84g
Hunter Hernandez
Noone
Owen Scott
>he feels straight out of OTGW Personally he really reminded me of Snufkin, but I feel like Hilda was heavily inspired by the Moomins.
Ryder Hughes
Ah, so it is then. I was worried for a second that there were two of you there
John Green
>hildafag That's what I'm known for now? God damn dude, stop sniffing Yea Forums memes for a second there, I just like the show. I know you're a "fridafag" and are just projecting, but this you should really know.
Easton Morris
Snufkin is a cool guy, user, Woodman is just a lovely asshole.
Carter Clark
What episode does that librarian come in? I thought the 3 episode rule would work here, but the 3rd and 4th pretty much tanked in what I expected.
Dominic Walker
>3 episode rule What do you mean?
Sebastian Hill
Yea Forums's tool whether or not to drop a series. Sometimes the first episode might not be a big enough hook, it's best to watch three episodes before deciding whether to continue.
Thomas Adams
>Yea Forums Please, get the fuck out.
Justin Wilson
>Yea Forums >3 episode rule That's so fucking dumb.
John Barnes
>Yea Forums is retarded who would guess it
Julian Garcia
Thanks for providing some points at least, fridafag. I know getting memed on almost every thread with the pasta is disconcerting and certainly tilting for you, so I'm glad you could come to your senses for a lil bit. >1 >she should Do you seriously expect her or anyone else on the show to have some speech impediment, messing with the flow, themes and narrative of the show, just so she doesn't have to be a "mary sue"? If so go fuck yourself faggot, the show shouldn't have to listen to you. I don't think the other user is correct with 'spaghetti' (it should be 'abrasive') but your second statement doesn't imply what you think it does. She does "fit in", but only in the sense that she is not a sperg, she has problem fitting in with the lifestyle of the city, which is like a theme for the rest of the episodes. More importantly, autism and social stumbling blocks aren't themes the show wants to poke at with a ten foot pole. The only occurrence anywhere close to this is in frida, for a couple episodes, resolved in the last. Maybe that's why that one guy loves her so much, aside from multiple episodes that leave them with their flaws for longer and less marysue like (for him), he relates to her better too. >2 She didn't convince them, you fucking retard. Alfur did. Did you even watch the show? >as the plot required What fucking plot needed that? Is this just needless, poorly thought out snark? Should hilda be defeated in a battle of giants and receive her punishment and banish herself from the forest or something? >3 One of the school teachers hate her, that nisse is annoyed by her, the cloud spirits dislike her, the marra frida's friends with hates her, half of the elf population including the mayor of the largest settlement and the tiny offshoot growing by the walls, frida hates her and was even irreconcilable for a time. Just because they like her in the end doesn't mean there wasn't any effort put in into doing so, you fucking projecting sperg.
school is as magical and relatable as a fucking prison, I'm glad most shows don't do this shit anymore. You watch TV to get away from School
Carson Fisher
So I thought the nightmare girls were ghosts but apparently they, or at least some of them have homes and parents to go back to. Do they turn into ghosts eventually?
Matthew Cox
For example, do you know any movies that are good only because of the ending? Would you just say to someone "oh, I didn't like it within the first few minutes. So, I just shut it off." Now expand that idea to a tv show, where there are multiple plot threads and the tone of a show can shift dramatically within later episodes. Sometimes, even the animation can get a dramatic increase because the animators suddenly got a budget.
Daniel Adams
Just install saucenao and it will give you the sauce of pics.
Juan Jenkins
read the thread
Robert Cruz
Whats the point of /pol/ if this shit is going to leak out anyway?
Levi Wright
Basically this according to your post you are implying that the whole cast of characters would appear during the firsts episodes, but that's not true, Frida and David are introduced in Ep 4 and the librarian appear in EP 6.
>Also I know a lot of series whome have pretty weak early episodes but they get better along the episodes pass so you rule is not only stupid but useless. Think by your own, you disgusting piece of shit.
Studios are extremely weary of “Monster of the week” shows in today’s binge streaming environment. It’s actually harder to pitch a show that is episodic vs one with a serialized overarching story since it’s assumed that the audience will be watching many episodes in succession rather than once a week.
Kevin Moore
I know what you mean, those gabled roofs make them look like incredibly tall houses instead of skyscrapers
I know those Scandinavians have weird architecture and furniture but triangular roofs on 50+ story skyscrapers seems outright hazardous
Angel White
Nah. Episodes >2 > 1 > 10 >3
Jason Price
>Thanks for providing some points at least, fridafag. I know getting memed on almost every thread with the pasta is disconcerting and certainly tilting for you That was literally the first Hilda thread I had posted in. I only saw the show like a few days ago.
>I'm glad you could come to your senses for a lil bit. Nah, I thought you were someone else. If I knew you were that mentally unstable user I would have never replied. Did not read the rest of your post btw.
Samuel Peterson
...yes you fucking do
Julian Cruz
> Whats the point of Yea Forums if OST threads exist? > Whats the point of /Yea Forums if book threads exist? > Whats the point of /tg/ if warhammer threads exist?

You hate one of the core principles of good storytelling? Are you a TV executive?
Jack Wilson
>Show needed more Hilda and David duo stuff. Less Frida everything. Girl nearly ruined my enjoyment of the series. So this modern show, created presumably by pretty liberal individuals... features a black girl that's objectively the worst character. How did they fuck this up so badly? Personally I don't really give a shit but I'm quite certain they do. There's no way in hell they would deliberately only make white characters good, right?
Liam Price
Should a potential shrinking episode feature those low-detail designs? It could just work...
>can't handle the bants If you can dish it, why can't you take it? >didn't read the rest lol owned
Aiden Miller
>the three first episodes are the best ones
What? Heck no
Austin Perry
Argument it, user.
Adam Reed
Trevor, shouldn't you be getting probed right now? Damn Ayys are getting lazy these days.
Owen Cruz
Crawl on, little ant. You are free.
Henry Sanchez
Trevor is one step away from finding the truth. The one who falls down the rabbit hole and never returns. The potential is there, all he needs is a certain redpilled Texan to pass the torch.
James Wright
I've just realized, why did trevor friends told him that he was crazy because he had thought that the raven had talked? I mean, they live in a world where trols, spirits and demons are everyday life and they are pretty well documented why would they think that a talking bird is a crazy idea?
Jordan Garcia
because birds don't talk
Carson Davis
Trevor having sex with Hilda
Jaxon Reyes
>fights monsters she's never actually fought any monster besides the marra she's run away from a troll and a giant dog, but that's it it's more of a mystery show than a fantasy
Hunter Harris
form your own opinion first
Charles Watson
Yeah, Op is retarded, I think he hanged himself about 100 posts ago.
Samuel Allen
Because certain (((black birds))) don't want him to know.
There is cute world building going on the show still, just not as much as say Gravity Falls fans would like.
Also any news on when season 2 is coming?
Josiah Richardson
>Also any news on when season 2 is coming? Date of 2020 has been officially given, unfortunate and odd it'll take that long considering voices were being recorded in early December (meaning at least some episodes had finished scripts and storyboards) but they've also announced plushes and other merch are coming so it's probably something to do with tying in with that and having a proper promotional push
Aiden Price
will it be explained why she has blue hair? Is it dyed?
