I need someone to explain how all of this makes sense once we wrap up the run. It's all way too keikaku for me. The timeline of how he gets to the monastery never made sense to me.
But aluminium isn't magnetic, most metals aren't magnetic. Magneto's powers are more some weird gravity magic that he convinces himself he's using magnetism.
Too bad the artwork is so off putting compared to the story. The story deserves better than this.

>we never find out what he sees. Fucking X-men.
Gavin Cox
I never liked this. The whole story is about how Jean's the LAST thing mutants need and then 'lol take over'.
Eh, whatever.

The Magneto plot makes more sense on a second read, Morrison leaves hints all over the place. Xorn works with Sublime to undermine Xavier's efforts, shatter his confidence, split up the X-Men, and then rip the world in half.
It doesn't work out because idk kids are over Magneto I guess.

This is around the same time Kang is fucking over the entire planet, I think.

Having computer troubles. Sorry, should resume when I get this fixed

Bros I want a telepathic dominatrix waifu who mind rapes me whenever she feels like it while impersonating other women.

But how/why is he working with Sublime before he started taking Kick, which is later revealed to be Sublime's vector in the current time? I definitely see a lot more obvious foreshadowing during the riot arc, but he's revealed at the end of that arc so I'm still not totally sold on "grant planned it from day 1."
Xorn's identity is established from way too many angles in his first appearance. His history in prison could have been faked, but then who planted a fake psychic imprint of an entire lifetime on "Xorn's key?" Morrison himself seems to hate Magneto, but also hate USING Magneto and I wouldn't be surprised if Planet X was retooled as a "fuck you" to people who wigged out over Magneto's death in the first arc. I think panels like these ("Who's this guy? We wanna see Magneto!") are aimed straight at the audience.

Oh man that was dumb, let's keep going. We're almost done.
