I don't think this will be nearly as good as the Jen Van Meter/Javier Pulido miniseries from a few years back.
But MacKay is doing a decent job with the Daughter of the Dragon digital title, and even though I think Foreman is better at covers than interiors, he'll probably bring a cool noir atmosphere.

that's all you really need just strong covers and passable interior art and Travel Foreman is good even if uses 3dposer a bit too much.

It wouldn't be so bad if King had an actual plan for Batman and Jones could do something but spin her wheels in place waiting for King to set the next status quo.

That’s the problem with multiple books in the same “families”. Imagine how frustrating it must be to write for other titles constantly getting told “oh you can’t do this because King/Bendis wants to write ____”

He was on Birds of Prey after he had his meltdown on Animal Man. When. He draws on his 90s style he like a poor man's Travis Charest, but his DC stuff was just 3D poser art

It's arguably worse with Catwoman because she needs to be in a status quo where King can pick her up and use her in a year and a half. At least with shit like Batgirl and Red Hood, they're both disconnected enough from the main books that they can more-or-less do their own thing, Catwoman is completely hamstrung by King calling dibs on the character.

I'd just scrap the ongoing altogether and make it a 6 issue mini in the lead-up to issue #75, from which an ongoing could potentially spin-off.

I would have preferred it if Chip Zdarsky wrote it since he wrote a really fun short story with her and spider-man last year.
I hope Spider-Man plays a central role in her run. Her messing with him in a teasing and fun way with her bad luck powers has always been the best part about her

superior comic coming through.

How do you know that what she is doing now, isn't actually what she wants to do with the character? To me it seems that King gave her room and opportunity to go off and play with Selina in her own corner without having to worry about micromanaging each issue to have them tie into King's plan for Batman. How the fuck is it his fault that the best she could do with the opportunity provided was the boring stuff she came up with?
