However you could also argue that their country also committed an act of aggression against the elves by killing the Dragon King, and considering the elves respond with an assassination rather then an all out declaration of war is very reasonable.

Just started watching this and it starts off the elves and dragons exiling all of the humans just because one Human discovered dark magic. unless the show explains more but I hope the show doesn't make the humans the only bad guys while the elves are Innocent.
