I personally have never read anything from Grant Morrison. From the reviews and disscussion I've seen he seems like a really great writer who understands what makes superheros fun and great He just needs a someone to reel in his weirdness.
If he returns to marvel and does another great run on a lister then yes
>Someone to reel in his weirdness
It is what makes Morrison so great. He's one of the few writers(who happens to be talented as well), who have free reign to do anything.
I have my doubts he would want to return to Marvel.
He really can't write "fun". Everything he does is depressing.
I dont know. Maybe with the right project on the right character he would give it a shot
Nah. Marvel stinks.
More referring to when he does more mainstream books. All Star showed restraint, while Final Crisis was pure unfiltered Morrison
Not after New X-Men.
Busiek is easily better
im reading his doom patrol run and its great and all star superman was good, over rated, but good.
didnt he write tower of babel or was that mark waid?
He's definitive if you think the genre is all about overthinking and overcomplicating. Many other writers of much humbler ambition have presented the hero's journey in much more accessible and appealing forms.
That being said, he's still the most interesting and relevant writer still operating in the print comics mainline cape sphere as the entire medium has devolved into circlejerking nostalgia reboots and painfully awkward SJW reimaginings.
No
he's yet to make an impact like Moore, John Byrne, Miller etc.
then you have Kirby, the God of capeshit, though he's known for his art
The most Woke
Kirby couldn't write for shit, let alone be the definitive capeshit writer. There are a lot of better writers from the silver and Bronze age.
Idiot
He is not stan lee
No.
tower of babel was waid
