I liked Duggan's GOTG for the most part but it's really fucking dumb that this isn't a cosmic book. Infinity Wars should have ended with Adam forming a new Infinity Watch with Gamora and alt-Phyla and Moondragon and leaving Quill, Rocket and Groot to make a new GOTG consisting of other obscure Cosmic shitters like his original Kree suicide squad.

it didn't, we're learning all about this right now. It apparently happened in this Phoenix Logan's timeline, and him going back in time and giving the space gem to Black Widow stopped it from happening
