They front-loaded a bunch of comedy elements, and Fox marketed it HARD as a comedy in the beginning, but they've toned it down a LOT since then, and now it's just a great Star Trek homage with a dick joke maybe every other episode

You don't get good writing guys, at the end of a joke the character needs to look directly into the camera and explain the joke! How would our braindead audience understand it otherwise?

A McFarlane show was cancelled so this show could be there in its place. Sunday night used to be Simpsons+3 more McFarlane Shows. Now it's just Family Guy and friends.

Bob's Burgers unironically sucks. Every time someone has tried to get me to watch it I just sat there and felt like I was waiting for something funny to happen. Even the most dumpster fire tier episodes of Family Guy caused me to react somehow, even if it was negative, Bob's Burgers is like watching paint dry.

I know, right? It's not even played for laughs; it's like a normal thing where no-one bats an eye about a dog fucking human women.

He puts a lot of effort into his craft as a voice artist. Most of the Bob's Burgers cast were merely assembled due to having distinctively irritating voices but very little ability to do multiple characters.

This episode was horrendous, I didn't finish the season but I do wanna know if they somehow turn that arc into something watchable.

Them getting rid of her and then just replacing her with another alien of the same race was dumb as fuck.
