yeah, Ryann makes for a better balance to Stevie than Danny did, and not only did Danny/Parker make for a great combo, but Danny's style has outright flourished being partnered with Iggy
They're business partners now, so yes, close enough.

Honestly, probably. It's hard to imagine Venomous putting up with Buffmore's stupidity otherwise. OK KO is heavyhanded with its messages. its borderline parody of 90s "toon with a lesson at the end" one episode and toony over the top OOC with a non sequitur ending the next (with hints of its questionable canonicality to make nerds argue). you could argue that a majority of episodes are filler for the real plot, like with boxman or Enid school "arc".
but yeah, that episode was probably the worst. but they kinda do things shitty on purpose for the big joke. i mean, KO noted that Enid already went through this "hiding your true self" episode with the Halloween special.

Why do Enid-centric episodes suck so goddamn much?
They're not the worst, but she feels like they're kind of low on ideas on how to expand her without bouncing her off of other people or making her evolve with the rest of the cast.
Enid/Rad-centric episodes are some of my favorite, especially the one with the package.

I'm not watching the show for plot and character development. Elodie just adds shitty drama that doesn't seem to matter at all. Red was basically "hey, they're in lesbians with each other, can you tell?" pretty much the entire time they're both on screen. There was even an entire episode dedicated to using time travel in the stupidest way possible just to show it. The halloween episode at least had moments where it was funny. Any time the plot is about Enid it just becomes a shitty drama.

It's interesting that even discounting the point prep arc, there's been like a full 3 enid-centric eps this season, while there only been one Rad centric ep this seas (Hope This Flies, which ended up airing before the season 1 finale anyways)
Not only that, but most of Stevie/Ryann's eps (Point to the Plaza, the first and last eps of the point prep arc, Monster Party) have been Enid centric so far (the one enid-centric ep that's neither done by Stevie/Ryann nor part of the point prep arc being Mira/Geneva's Red Action to the Future)

Man that must mean that season 3 is really short. One of the model sheet designers was talking about how I was working on the season finale model sheets back last summer and we've seen evidence of production continuing afterwards. Though an unusually short final season isn't unprecedented given Adventure Time

SU knew how to bait an audience with it's "Steven Bombs" so it got better ratings, which also only worked because there was an ongoing plot that was at least somewhat pre-planned, but OK K.O. doesn't have a plot unless you count Enid's crap with Point Prep, which are the least interesting episodes in the series.
I was gonna talk about things ain't adding up because one of the usual warning signs absent, namely, most crew members still list being on the show in their twitter bios, but as I was checking, I noticed that one of the boarders had been promoted to full blown director, and that seems like a really recent development (plus the show's color stylist had gotten promoted to art director a few months back)
I want it to continue because I need more content for the miserable disappointment so far

Korra/Mako was bad, but Korra/Asami was virtually non-existent and served only a single purpose: the show was tanking and the finale was going to be shit, so honest criticism of it by the end could just be written off as homophobia.
