What is in Heaven well everything good in the fallen creation. All the great tastes and smells and pleasures it's a whole new dimension. This is the New Covenant that being prophesied then the Word of God came and offered. Many did God followers accept and many reject this new covenant. The core of this covenant is not salvation through your abilities. Every person in the world is still living by the Old Covenant God made with man, be a decent enough person. But even that gave you no eternal life promise. The New Covenant is that instead of us being good, Jesus is good and we have faith that he died for our inequities. That then through grace we can be given God's seal, his spirit. We cannot be good enough for Heaven, that is why the first thing Jesus says is to repent for the Kingdom of God. Do you accept this New Covenant? That you no matter how good can never be good enough and that you humble yourself to Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. That is God.

Every man shall testify to God. What excuses can you bring for your sinful life? Maybe you will remember the words I am commanded to tell you: Jesus is the only surrogate for sins.
So do not try and complain about your life and why you chose to hate and hurt this person or steal something from someone or encourage addictions in others, you can't make enough excuses, it was all our choice to sin.

The Kingdom of God is already here and God comes to dwell within us in spirit. Don't try to get to Heaven last minute, get to Heaven now.

The evidence has been and always will be against every false religion from after the flood to now. Any religion counter to Christianity can easily be dismissed. Circumcision is no longer necessary as a sign, it was replaced in the new covenant God made with water baptism which is not necessary to go to Heaven. Apparently circumcision has health benefits so I hear but I don't know more than that.

The Bible was not written 2,000 years ago, just the last few scriptures which are the New Testament about the messiah and new covenant.
These scriptures are the Gospels and letters. The Gospels are the accounts of Jesus and the letters are well just Christian letters from the first century.
No one is trying to kill you.
In the New Testament Paul writes a letter expressing his joy that his words were being compared with scripture by the Church he was happy his letters were being looked at critically and so the New Testament is fully open to criticism but there is nothing to criticize.

Well Augustine has nothing to do with the Bible you're talking about THE Augustine from the 4th century, just a regular Christian, a pretty bad Christian I think.

Paul didn't write many "accounts" at all he wrote out about the Christian faith after coming to Christ he largely established the Churches. He didn't write much about Jesus' life at all, he likely never met him while he was on Earth.
Obviously you can't prove anything about the first century. But I think all evidence points to Jesus dying and being resurrected.

All early secular sources from Romans and Apostate Jews just say he died and that all his miracles surly were tricks or from the devil or whatever else they want to say.
The only sources about his life come from his followers. They knew him. They spoke about what he did and said and his resurrection.

Even writing about his life wasn't a given. Matthew only wrote the first Gospel as a way to convince other Jews he was the messiah and had fulfilled scripture. Most if not all the other 12 Disciples couldn't even write and just preached about his life.

Yes, the verifiable information is vanishingly small. We know that he was killed, not because he had designs for conquest, but because local religious authorities deliberately manipulated pilate into killing him. that would only happen if Jesus defied them, which means defying their sacred word. we can all project whatever we want onto jesus and the narratives that came after he died, and pick and choose what we like and don't like. Based on the evidence that I can see, Jesus rejected the prevailing religious authority and went directly to god. there are no intermediaries, which includes the bible. if the bible genuinely helps you understand god, that's great, from what i've seen of history, for most people i'd say it's done a pretty bad job and been used to justify all sorts of terrible behavior. because it's just a book, written by humans

No we csn't pick and choose what we don't like. All information comes from the people who knew and worshipped him and all outside sources agree with what they say.
Even when a roman historian who has never met Jesus says his miracles were false, that confirms the Gospel accounts because people in the Gospel didn't always believe in Jesus' miracles and acted the same way.

It's only you who is choosing not to believe 99% of what we know about Jesus. but just the 1% that he existed.

If you are called to apologetics you should do that and you'll get better at it over time. You can always start doing things with Jesus and he'll lead you to becoming better.

The new covenant is that unless you come to Jesus you're going to be judged under the old covenant. And there's no happy ending in that path. All humans went to Hell before Jesus. Jesus opened up the path to Heaven so that we may have his righteousness when we believe in him and by grace through faith he comes to us.

I have examined second hand overviews of his works, both scientific and spiritual and accounts of his character and transformation. that he with confidence, described the neuron and drew a diagram with access to only crude microscopes of time. these things lead me to believe he may have been divinely inspired, but still I am hesitant to delve into his works for fear of being enthralled with heresy.
