By trading down from #21, the Seahawks got #30, #114 & #118 from the Packers

no surprise the Hawks took an EDGE at 29, as at #21, they had the Seahawks going:
>EGDE Rashan Gary/Rashan Gary/Rashan Gary/Rashan Gary/Rashan Gary/Rashan Gary/Rashan Gary
>EGDE Jaylon Ferguson
>EGDE Montez Sweat/Montez Sweat/Montez Sweat/
>EGDE Brian Burns/Brian Burns/Brian Burns
>EGDE Clelin Ferrell/Clelin Ferrell/Clelin Ferrell/Clelin Ferrell/Clelin Ferrell
>WR D.K. Metcalf/N’Keal Harry

at #29, two of them had the Hawks:
>trade down out of the 1st
>trade down out of the 1st

so no surprise they just traded their #30 pick

Gnats took 3 Ds tonight

?. I guess its new friend central here during the draft.

Lock shouldn’t have even been picked in the first round

wonder what OT the Pats are gonna take now

Fucking Les Snead not drafting Murphy.

so did your mom

Ok. Who won tonight’s draft? Who lost tonight’s draft?

seriously go to bed and stop crying NEET

>Who lost
Gnats
>Who won
Every team that didn't spend a top-10 pick on Daniel Jones

Cringe. Hope some of my nflg bros are still here.

Cardinals lost

no way.
I mean youre right about the reach.
but those stats? that talent? dude had a great career and could be coached up if you believe in his brains.

>packers and lions bitching about drafting BPA
yeah taking the best safety and TE in the draft sure were stupid ideas.

>who won

>who lost

Pats took WR N'Keal Harry

That only thing cringe is how much you are crying how how much you are breaking your mother's heart for being an utter failure

Who? Let me guess, this guy will be good like Michel.

no surprise, like Desmond and Herbstriet predicted, Pats get a weapon for Brady at #32

WR Marquise Brown - 12/12/19/19/19/22/22/22/22/22/24/25/25/25/27/27/27/30/32
WR D.K. Metcalf - 15/17/21/22/26/26/29/30/32
WR A.J. Brown - 32/32/32/32
*WR N'Keal Harry - 21/29/29*
WR Hakeem Butler - 26/32
WR Parris Campbell - 22

at 32 the most popular picks for the Patriots were WR and TE:
>WR Marquise Brown/A.J. Brown/WR A.J. Brown/A.J. Brown/A.J. Brown/D.K. Metcalf/Hakeem Butler
>TE Noah Fant/Noah Fant/TE Irv Smith Jr.
>QB Daniel Jones/Drew Lock
>OT Dalton Risner
>DT Jeffery Simmons/DT Jerry Tillery
>CB Joejuan Williams/CB Joejuan Williams
>EDGE Clelin Ferrell
>S Darnell Savage
>trade down out of the 1st
>trade down out of the 1st

>Who lost tonight’s draft?

>no football for another five months.

so, on the scale of this catastrophe to 10, how did your mock hold up?

Attached: kekdraft.png (691x842, 103K)

Brainlets will hate it but it's about 2 years past time for the Falcons to pick some badass linemen, how quickly the idiots forget the last time Matt Ryan was properly protected the offense was basically unstoppable, probably a pretty safe bet the rest of the draft will be on defense

Attached: Atlanta-Falcons-2.jpg (700x900, 146K)

He was really exciting what little I saw of him in college. Not a significant deep threat but should be the type of agile guy that Brady thrives with and ultimately Edelman's replacement. Much better a pick at WR than D.K "slower cuts than Tom Brady" Metcalf.

this round was so shit

>Brady to a 6’4 213lb receiver with huge hands

also steelers for not realizing that linebackers can be got in any fucking round.

>broncos go full tank mode for trevor lawrence and install him on a team with a 1985 bears level defense
I swear to god its like the broncos have a genius GM and a fucking moron at GM and they let them take turns making picks.

too bad his noodle arm won't be able to get the ball into his hands

nice job on Oliver. I was 100% sure the bills would go oline even if he were available

>Kiwi is back to shit on Brady
Make it stop

Quick rundown on Gary?

9/10
in a rational world this is what the draft would have looked like

gary might be a little bit of a project, but who the fuck knows. clay matthews was a project until his first nfl game. at least gary can be put into a rotation
savage seems like a reach, but they probably had to hop over both raiders picks. Rather leap to far for a guy, and the cost wasnt bad at all. I love a GM that makes the moves to get the guys he likes
appreciate the honesty

I think the Cardinals fucked up the hardest, with the Giants and Raiders close behind.

was the #1 recruit in his signing class at Michigan but he never really produced and was always injured

will probably need a great D-line coach to maximize the potential he never achieved under harbaugh

>nigger wr so dumb he cant comprehend which way to break on option routes
he'll be pratice squad by week 6

>Who lost tonight’s draft?
Giants and Packers will be the most criticized for how they managed their 1stR

So why did Bill draft him?

honestly the colts and seahawks should have just stayed put and drafted their guys
especially the colts. they need players bad, but trade down and make no FA splashes because the GM is terrified of overpaying for somebody. Good teams can have at least a few overpaid players

QB's arm strength doesn't fall off much from age, it's their feet and pocket prescience that goes.

Beyond that, Brady was still throwing absolute darts 40~50 yards down field the few times his busted up receiver corps got anywhere last season.

>muh bad receiving core

Attached: 1551973249484(2).png (377x1549, 85K)

falcons way more than packers. last year packers leapt up to draft a corner nobody mocked in the first round and he turned out to be the second best corner out of the draft, falcons got 2 oline and traded back into the first for the latter, while still needing some players on defense

Not too mad about the Savage pick. He was shooting up the boards and had some mock drafts having him picked in the 20s.

The Gary pick made me Reeeeeeeeeee

based russia bro.
glad youre still alive and up at 4am watching the draft.

you excited about the browns this year my brat?
I think if they browns can get an actual white TE this draft the could have the best passing attack in the AFC just off talent мoй бpaт.

any TE you like right now? hope you guys draft kaden smith or kahale warring.

I was wishing they had picked Taylor, Ford or Dillard instead of who they got, but then only Dillard got picked and it was all the way back at 24. So they probably got the right guys.

reach but they don't really have that many needs, and the big boards between 15 and 75 are a crapshoot, so he may have been BPA to the Chargers FO
>Collier
another massive fucking reach. 3rd rounder
>Baker
great pick, too bad you fucked it up otherwise
>McGary
decent pick
>Harry
fantastic pick, steal

Possibly best QB and definitely a top 10 defensive talent in one round. Pretty based 1st round

Better than expected. At least better than the Giants and the fucking Raiders, who reached on all picks.

the raiders drafted the 2nd best pure DE after BOSA instead of going after a bunch of undersized OLB's that are gonna get stunted on in the league when their bullshit one trick pony moves dont work
>WHAT A FUCKING MORON

guys. ferrell wasnt a reach at all. he can play all over the line and is more solid than any other DE besides bosa in the draft.
you want to make fun?
they drafted a RB in the 1st. in 2019. a RB. in the 1st.
but they had 3 picks so I guess its not so bad.
but then again

Boomers hate the dolphin’s new logo for absolutely no fucking reason other than that it looks presentable

>Let’s put it this way: The one thing we can say with relative certainty is that you aren’t going to top your college rate stats in the pros. Jones averaged 5.45 adjusted net yards per pass attempt in college. Among this year’s prospects, that was better than only Thorson. Here are the NFL QBs who averaged worse than that in 2018: Case Keenum, Blake Bortles, Ryan Tannehill, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, and Josh Rosen.

>So his ceiling is 2018 Blake Bortles. Cool. Cool, cool, cool.

>first pick is in the second round in the draft
>another second round exit in the playoffs
Pottery

>Pats drafted a WR in the 1st
Holy shit

Bears
Claws down

I've seen Allen play live, and Josh Allen was the guy, there

Who's dumber the tards or the gnats? Gotta be the gnats yeah? But at least their qb isn't a midget... Damn I can't fucking decide.

yup with Thomas and harry along with Edelman that receiving core is all of the sudden scary when it was shit last year.

Green Bay Packers: Rashan Gary, DE/DT, Michigan
>D Grade. Rashan Gary is insanely athletic and physically talented, but he was a huge disappointment as a player in Michigan. In the 20s would've been a reasonable spot to select him. Not here, though. This is a major reach. If Gary couldn't produce in college, why would that suddenly happen when he has an NFL contract?

did they win or lose?

Giants. They had Josh Fucking Allen in their lap.

snyder fucking shooked them with rumors about him wanting jones and forcing them to waste the 6th overall pick on him lmao. thanks.
Jay cucking his brother by taking Sweat before he did was great.

you have a good post here.
1. bush went to the steelers
2. tillery is gonna be a fucking beasat of a DT in the league and should have gone top 15
3. people calling picks REACHES based off position

if you draft a 10 year FS, G, K, P, or any other position its worth a 1st rounder.
any position can be worth a 1st. any starter. and so what if you get some middle of the pack guy. as long as he gets a 2nd contract instead of being let go once his rookie contract is up and you beat the odds.

Good year to need a safety lads.
I really missed talking draft with you guys.

Attached: 1551974139444.png (371x1540, 84K)

I just got home and checked out the draft

>Giants take Daniel Jones at 6
ahahaha

Next level DLine coaches? I’m not happy with the pick but if Pettine puts him in the right situations and Montgomery coaches him up a bit there’s upside. Just trying to be optimistic desu still don’t like the pick

Those are my thoughts. As a GM I’d never take a “project” at #12 overall, that’s where you take a guy with a resume and a great chance of starting. But we’ll see.

Guy sounds like a big retard who coasted in high school then flopped when faced with real adversity and demand to adapt.

some team put out fake news about daniel jones for sure

How many quarterbacks do the Redskins need exactly? What was the point of bringing in Keenum if Haskins'll be playing by week four anyway? Colt McCoy was already a capable backup who really isn't any better or worse than Keenum. Also what if Alex Smith actually does end up returning during the course of next season? Are they just going to have three gorrilion bazillion dollars ride the bench?

God dammit, the Haskins pick was good but there's obviously no fucking plan here; just throwing money at problems endlessly like always.

midgets undoubtly.

jones would have still been there in the 3rd.

THE CARDS HAD EVERYONE IN THEIR FUCKING LAP THINK ABOUT THIS LOGICALLY

are you fucking kidding the old logo was so fucking classy. the new one has no class at all

>Dillard is a bust pick

shit I didn't even realize. then he'll be a good replacement for shazier. that defense missed the hell out of him last year

can anyone find the video of the entire giants stadium losing their minds when gettleman threw away the 6th pick on jones?

Colt just got another operation done. Alex smith probably won't ever play again. This was a solid move and Case Keenum was picked up in an attempt to get Rosen but they don't mind keeping him for cheap.

murray's upside is a lot better than daniel jones, even if he is 5'8.

at least murray mobility can save their awful line a bit, unline jones.

Heyyyyy. I'd be happy with that.

Why the fuck the packers didn't take Burnes at 12 instead of this retard is beyond me.

Looking at Burnes he's the clear cut choice above anyone else.

he's black though, and not a "Russell Wilson" black, I mean a 23 on the Wonderlic black

Gardner Minshew's upside is better than Daniel Jones'. LaMeme suddenly growing an arm is more likely than Jones developing. Giants are tanking for Lawrence

What was with all the black guys with horses

holy shit
is this the worst draft pick of all time?

murray doesn't have an upside you dipshit.

What about Tua?

I never said taking murray was a good decision, but it was not as bad as taking jones.

How bad of a front office do you have to be to get fucking played by SNYDER

also

Patriots bandwagoner here. Is that nigga that got drafter at WR any good?

OMFG. Is gettleman an alcoholic who the fuck does this shit let alone admit it with pride? Seriously I'm going to become an NFL GM if this is all I have to do.

THE ABSOLUTE STATE OF THE GIANTS

Green Bay Packers: Darnell Savage, S, Maryland
>grade: MALFUNCTION, FARMER FAIL, SUCKAGE, TRAGEDY, CALAMITY, SUFFERIN SUCCOTASH (I hope you like the new addition to the "F" grade. It's well deserved after what happened at No. 4 tonight by the Raiders)
>This is an another "F" grade all the way. Darnell Savage is a second-round prospect who may have snuck into the bottom end of the first round. There was absolutely no reason to move up nine spots for him. He, or someone very comparable to him, would've been available at No. 30 overall. I wouldn't have minded the Packers taking Savage had they remained at their own choice, but giving up resources for poor value is just a recipe for disaster.

rude posters are not welcomed here.

Johnny Manziel was a competent starter in college. Daniel Jones was a literal who

>everyone talking shit on the daniel jones pick
>the redskins drafted another nigger QB
I can tell you right now who I have more faith in. and I admit haskins was the best pocket QB in the draft.
but that doesnt change his nigger IQ. hes teddy bridgewater without the charisma.
say what you want about the giants but at least they didnt bet on black. I'd rather put money on china winning the gold in the 100m next olympics than a nigger winning a spelling bee.

haskins is gonna have a good rookie season and just fall apart and be out of the league after his 5th year option. you know like every other negro QB ever. Im looking at you winston.
and this coon cant even run. looks like eli when he tucks the ball.

Just name every other QB in the draft and say that any one of them will throw less picks per attempt than that hesitant, stare-down, pass floater

Yea Forums is a free speech board reddit faggot

What would you do if your team got baited by the Redskins this hard?

Should the lions have taken Ed Oliver over TJ Hockenson?

I think I am going to mention how they could have gotten this QB at 17 or 12-15 and then mention that they didnt trade for Rosen because he is black or draft Haskins because he is jewish

Snyder didn't is how

Only advancing the animal heads.
This is fucking retarded.

yankees are still playing wfan isnt on the air

>didnt trade for Rosen because he is black or draft Haskins because he is jewish.

really makes me think.

All your trash talking is stupid af.
First of all Jones has size, speed , and arm strength.
Nothing like Eli at all you morons.
I swear you assholes get jealous of my team every fucking year over something. Keep up with your cope though.

are Gnats fans this dumb? Jones > "Prime" Eli

Who really made the worst>us or the giants?

Take out Mason Foster for Shawn Dion Hamilton, do the Redskins, dare I say, have the best front seven in the nfl?

Is NKeal Harry the Gronkowski of WR?
I mean he just does not go down, and his reach is fucking crazy.

hard to say

Ed Oliver's potential is undeniable but he had injuries and character concerns in his junior year

TJ Hockenson is a sure bet in producing year one, providing receiving yardage, and opening up lanes in blocking for Kerryon to run through but I think they had more pressing needs. The draft is deep in passrushers though

You

How good is Hockenson?

what team is "us"

thomas is old coming off a serious injury he's not gonna scare anyone delusional bitch

does anybody else smell that?
smells like 3 day old wine flavored black and milds smoke on a hoodie filled with watermelon flavored starburst wrappers and hot cheetos dust on both sleeves.

haskins is gonna get suffocated by NFL defenses.

kneeling in 3...2...

the numbers... what do they mean?

Jesse James was a bandaid at best, loins NEEDED a good TE

From what I have seen, Will Grier makes the smarter decisions when compared to Lock, but his arm strength isn't there yet, so he is going to benefit being behind another QB for a few years.

>regular season edelman

Chiefs ban Tyreek Hill from offseason workouts
Posted by Mike Florio on April 26, 2019, 12:37 AM EDT

Getty Images
The story of draft day came roughly an hour before the draft started.

Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill, one of the best players in the league who not long ago was on the brink of a new contract that perhaps would have paid him upwards of $20 million per year, will no longer be participating in offseason workouts.

G.M. Brett Veach told reporters in a late-night, end-of-round-one press conference that, in light of the audio that emerged on Thursday evening of Hill and Crystal Espinal discussing the events that led to their three-year-old son suffering a broken arm, Hill will not be taking part in any team activities.

“We were deeply disturbed by what we heard, we were deeply concerned,” Veach told reporters. “We decided that at this time and for the foreseeable future, Tyreek Hill will not take part in any team activities. We are going to gather more information, we’re going to evaluate this information, and we will make the right decision regarding Tyreek Hill.”

Barring evidence that the audio was doctored or falsified in any way, the right decision — the only decision — is to permanently sever ties with Tyreek Hill.

>Daniel Jones is literally a top 10 pick

Attached: 1495945012407.jpg (400x399, 83K)

Quite good. Like a larger and faster Julian Edelman with Gronkowski like reach and Physicality.

What happened now?

Fuck mods, fuck jannies, fuck gentleman, and fuck niggers

Whoever guiltsigns hill is the biggest winner of the offseason. He’s a fucking monster.

>its real
PFFFFFFFFFTHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA
Who does Mahomes have left? Kelce?

This isn't even true. Daniel Jones was always projected to go in the first round, but it was a toss up between Haskins, Lock, Grier, and Jones. He was certainly NOT a nobody.

just put on WFAN to hear some giant outrage, what the fuck is wrong with this guys voice

Secret recording of him talking with his gf

>true. Daniel Jones was always projected to go in the first round
t. Daniel Jones

Whoever they draft in the next two days

Not exactly a great blocker, but will make an impact on a receiving core.

Hes probably doing real time. How the fuck can you end up in jail with all that money you stupid fuck, Stallworth fucking killed somebody and got off

everything you idiot, watch the fucking games. I bet you'd love Murray or Haskins, two double digit IQ niggers

I don’t know what’s worse, his voice or his brainlet takes

My raiders

Hot Take, as a Packer fan I'm actually pretty happy with our first round.
Two fast, dynamic defensive players is exactly what a new DC needs.
They might not have been slam dunks, but they both have alot of upside.

>New England Patriots: N'Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State
>A- Grade
>I mocked Parris Campbell to the Patriots for weeks, but it ended up being another receiver. N'Keal Harry makes just as much sense as Campbell, so I like this pick. Harry was highly productive at Arizona State, but had some speed concerns. He proved his detractors wrong at the combine, elevating himself into the first round. He should be a terrific downfield weapon in the final years of Tom Brady's career

Attached: D5DPTbQUIAA-yuC.jpg (2048x1118, 347K)

Giants. I actually heard good things about Ferrell but he fits more of a 3-4 versatile scheme from what I heard so yeah man idk. What D does Gruden run these days modified 4-3 Tampa 2 with modified Seattle cover 3/and man concepts?

He was a nobody for anyone who actually watched him play. Seriously. Go watch a Duke game from last year. The dude has no confidence on the field, and corners jump on his passes because he stares down receivers. He's gonna be eaten alive in the league, dude

no. making black people read is a sadistic practice I enjoy more than a 5th grade elementary teachers smiling while jerdavious mispronounces "confident" for the third time while it takes him seven minutes to read a fucking paragraph out loud from a fucking harry potter book.

Oh, so you're just fucking retarded. Okay then.

user, hes not going to be in the league anymore.

If only they knew how racist you are, Daniel

Probs still the burrs famalam but it's close.

Oh I don't think it's a bad move at all

there's still DEs to be had in the draft and you have time to go BPA, at the very worst he'll be a good redzone target/3rd option for Stafford to throw to

No seriously, you either haven't been paying attention to QB prospects or you are baiting, but Murray, Lock, Haskins, Jones, and Grier were the top 5 QB propects in the draft.

The Bills unironically have a top 3 defense

I've been paying very close attention. Jones has only been getting attention since the Senior Bowl, before which he was expected to go in the 4th. That's also when Gettleman said he first learned about Jones.

Attached: D54A7AE1-3C4C-4EC5-B286-4C55D136A0FB.jpg (902x686, 297K)

Going to FedEx so I can watch it the patriots btfo you fags live

top 5 QB prospects in a draft INSANELY dry of QB talent maybe

Jones is going to throw more picks than Winston if they play the same number of games in a season

His family is as good as dead

The QB class was weak this year tho. Only two dudes were really brought up seriously in the 1st round, and Jones wasn't one of them.

buddy he grades out on every level, his numbers are better at Duke than anyone would put up

Jones is out of the league after his rookie contract runs out. He's a terrible decision maker.

Pats officially slammed the window shut on KC forever rofl

>at Duke
Lmao
Fuck off Daniel Jones

>at Duke
who fucking cares

No, you really haven't. Don't take me for a giants apologist either, but Daniel Jones has repeated made good decisions on where to put the ball while in the pocket. You also need to consider that a lot of the player around him were not that good either. He really is not a bad pick, and if the giants were paranoid that someone else was going to snipe him, that is a valid concern.
You forgot when people mocked the patriots taking him at 32.

26. Washington Redskins: Montez Sweat, DE/OLB, Mississippi State
>A+ Grade
>The Redskins lost Preston Smith in free agency, so they needed a potent edge rusher. Sweat is even more than that. Had it not been for a potentially misdiagnosed heart condition, Sweat would've been a top-10 selection in this class. Given the misdiagnosis, there doesn't appear to be any concern with Sweat, making this an absolute steal. Despite the Redskins trading a 2020 second-round choice, this is one of the best picks of the 2019 NFL Draft thus far.

Attached: D5DKzpTUEAE1cGA.jpg (1200x1500, 191K)

i don't have >us taking a TE. Njoku is completely fine by me as a solid redzone threat who can still get better with age. I don't give a shit about his race
we could use a little more depth at the position, but I wouldn't spend anything more than a late 5th rounder on a TE

I hate this gay league. Im not even a chiefs fan but he's legit the most exciting player in this league. This shit is killing the league its not the rules or the fucking protests its that the best fucking players aren't allowed to play because the NFL is afraid of moralfags on Twitter and gay ass fucking cancel culture
FUCK
GREG HARDY SHOULD HAVE MURDERED TOM BRADY ON LIVE TV BY NOW
FUCK!!!!!

have you ever watched football in your life? the first pick in the draft had a huge pocket for every throw and still chucked meme passes that would get picked in the NFL. College football has about 1/10th of the talent as the NFL.

And as an addition, don't even get me started on how everyone on nesn radio was projecting Jones to already be taken when the patriots got around to picking.

God that makes me rock hard

hes not WFAN, the yankees postgame is on WFAN. it will be a little while before the calls. Im on hold with ESPN radio but going to call WFAN as soon as they put the host on

>giving the tape that screws your fiance and breadwinner to a random friend and not a close family member or even a lawyer
wew that girl made the right move

You're back at last! How's all that dick taste, fucker?

I'll admit Jones had fuck all to work with but the YPA and the decision making didn't really convince me he was worth a 1st rounder, let alone top 10

black QB good white QB bad

That's real business, he's getting a year away from the league at minimum. Outright ban if it gets national attention.

lol

DEMEMIFY YOU NIG

he's at Duke playing Florida State and Clemson, Elway went 1-10 with Stanford. get a clue pal

You’re about 30 posts late there bud

DO IT AGAIN TYREEK BEAT THAT HOES FACE IN

>arguing with aussie brady hater

Seeth harder Chiefs nigger

it's all over the news and social media, his ass is cooked

What does Murray have to do with anything? I'm saying Jones is not an NFL talent because he's hesitant, and he overthrows receivers like a motherfucker.
The talent around him is what made plays for him half the time. He has some good qualities, but he's a major project if you want him anywhere close to being a starter. Jones is not a top 10 pick unless you think height determines ability

You sometimes see film of him where it takes 3 fucking DBs to bring him down. Its fucking crazy how many Yards After the Catch he gets.

Redskins won hands down.
Their defense is a monster this season

>potentially misdiagnosed heart condition

What the fuck does that mean?

yeah retard, he has a O Line that will be dentists and lawyers in 2 years, Oklahoma has a GOAT O Line.

there were rumors that redskins were going to take jones with the 15th pick, so they shooked the midgets into using the 6th overall pick on him lmao.

Friendly reminder that Phil Simms was selected in nearly the same range as Daniel Jones and he was VICIOUSLY booed by fans. And this is all pre-Twitter.

youtube.com/watch?v=iHChpfZvKTw

Fuck he could be the next tom brady, all im saying is that he definitely would have been there at 17 and then you could have josh allen AND jones.

As a jags fan, i aint complaining. Thank youuuuu, gettleman!

So you're saying that you should look at the mechanics, and not the stats? Good idea. He jumps around in the pocket like he's constantly looking to take off, and it affects his throwing motion. Half of the incompletions he threw were massive overthrows that would get picked by any decent NFL safety

His talent did very little to help him. But I am tired of this argument. So I'm just going to point you to a full film analysis of his QB play.
youtube.com/watch?v=WbfeNHA9Yvg

because simms was a shit quarterback throughout his career.

Again. Not talking about Murray. I think Murray will be decent at best, and Cards made a bad decision. Jones was also a bad decision, because he's not good at playing the QB position

Elway at least passed for 3000+ yards in his final season and had a career YPA over 7. Duke's offense is booty but it's not like he was playing amazing in vain

>media "analysis"
why even bother with this trash
gary seems like clowny 2.0, and savage had nickel experience and lightning speed. dont understand the hate

People thought he had like a 2.0 heart wall, when it was closer to being 1.5

At best, if you threw him into the current NFL at week one, he would be a carbon copy of Alex Smith.

Literally the first throw that's shown in that montage would get picked in the league. A fucking meatball to a receiver he was staring down

I am an Arizona Cardinals fan.

except he is by every metric, YPA is not an argument when you're throwing to nobodies

Are you insinuating Simms was good?

sorry.

So shitty that he had one of the single greatest individual performances in Super Bowl history, sure.

>Pittsburgh Steelers: Devin Bush, LB, >Michigan A Grade
>I love this move. The Steelers have needed a replacement for Ryan Shazier ever since he suffered his horrible spinal injury on that fateful Monday night. There was no way in the world Devin Bush was going to fall to No. 20. Pittsburgh recognized that and made the jump for Bush. The Michigan product is extremely athletic and was highly productive at Michigan. He was also a team captain. He'll instantly establish himself as a team leader for Pittsburgh. I know the Steelers gave up resources to get Bush, yet the 2020 first-round pick wasn't included, which is huge. This was a move the Steelers had to make to restore their defense to its former dominance.

Attached: D5CtJjPW4AIBGn1.jpg (1638x2048, 1015K)

draft is deeper for tight ends and they seldom produce in their first year. seems like a pick that fills a need more than BPA

you're just making shit up now, he's clearly reading short throws at an elite level

You can see the corner breaking on the ball. If the cb had NFL speed, that ball is picked

>OH NO I HOPE SOMEBODY DOESNT EAT ALL THE RAINBOW SHERBERT ICE CREAM BEFORE I GET TO BASKIN ROBBINS
>MY FAVORITE FLAVOR IS RAINBOW SHERBERT. ONLY STUPID PEOPLE ENJOY ROCKY ROAD ICE CREAM.
>OH NO DAVE GETTLEMAN ORDERED ALL THE RAINBOW SHERBERT ICE CREAM. NOW IM STUCK WITH ONLY ROCKY ROAD AS MY LAST RESORT. WHAT A DISASTER.

truthfully though I dont think it was the redskins doing at all. they had haskins as their target all along and Im sure the giants knew it.

listen. you believe in the guy. you pull the trigger at 6.
you have peyton mannings QB spiritual advisor guru telling your office that this kid is the next peyton with better mechanics and more talent and thats what happens. I mean if freddie roach tells me to put my money on some kid he's training and he swears this kid is better than pac man or any other boxer he's ever worked with and Im taking his advice.
might be dumb but gotta trust the experts some times.

>people shitting all over daniel jones as a QB prospect
>carson wentz and jared goff went 1 and 2 a few years ago
>jones has better tape against better teams than wentz ever had
jones at 6 makes sense if you like what you see.
the only unbelievable thing about the pick is not taking darnold at 2 last year and drafting a RB at 2 and jones this year at 6. thats bullshit.

but jones at 6 isnt anymore of a stretch than taking wentz.

>dont understand the hate
I don't like the Gary pick because he's a project, and when the owl window is closing, a pick that high should be someone who can contribute sooner than later.

However, I'm not sure why Walt hates the Savage pick when people had teams like the Colts drafting him in the mid 20s

Lads, I went to see Avengers with my brothers tonight. Give me your legitimate opinions on the Seahawks pick. I think it's good. Quality defenders in the big 12 are rare. Now that he'll be able to play at a somewhat normal rate, it should help him, unless we're playing the Chiefs or Rams. Let me know, dudes.

teams are way too critical of reaching for players in the draft or FA. the opportunity costs are smaller than the need to have good players to compete. Gary might be a project, but if you predict a better long term career for a guy, you cant pass him up for nfl readiness and shorter ceiling. They have a good line for him to get into a rotation too. perfect fit for a versatile project

Thanks friend. Still going to be, against my better judgement.

the Corner wasn't reacting to break up the pass, making it the right throw

they picked eli manning 2.0

Thsts a lot of cope my man

your brother-sister is a faggot just like you for watching a comic book movie where the bad guys have never ever won and only an idiot would be invested in it

once you pick a team, you are not allowed to switch, so good.

not even a giants fan and Im actually a big fan of wentz

but Yea Forums is acting like the giants drafted a nigger or manziel or something.
jones makes sense at 6. size, grooming, program, film, throws, talent, arm.
he's one of those guys thats gonna get destroyed his rookie year, but for every game he throws away you see a flash of brilliance in their developing.

then again I still want to see mason rudolph get a starting gig already. I think he could be a starter also.

Walt's site is good for looking at future prospects you haven't heard of yet and rumor mills but to put it nicely, his analysis has always been wildly inconsistent

>Drew Lock fell completely out of the first while Jones went fucking 6th overall

>watching a s oyperhero flick instead of the draft
>xeattle
checks out
also they reached, should have picked Sweat

>makes sense at 6.

he would have been there at 17, and 170 too.

ESPN said it was fine though.

Attached: switch fandoms.jpg (928x464, 158K)

>and when the owl window is closing
how? what are you talking about? the mccarthy window closed, but it isnt like they dont have playmakers on offense and added 5 quality players to the defense so far
>a pick that high should be someone who can contribute sooner than later.
the draft is about finding the guy who will have the most impact to your team over his career. Many many rookies dont contribute their first year regardless where they are drafted. He has the athleticism to contribute later in the season and late in game rotations when the opposition is tired and weak, so it isnt like he'll be redshirted

I wanted to see the Pats get Rudolph last year. Disappointing

good thing that espn said it so we know to ignore it.

youtu.be/sZYA8jwh_EY

What's his problem bros?

This could get out of hand. Weren't the Chiefs the ones who had a player suicide in front of their practice facilities a few years ago?

I don't think it was worth trading for, you could have easily have gotten Collier in the 2nd or 3rd round, maybe even 4th

and then they traded out of the round when they needed more pass rushing production from the DE. they probably should have traded up for Sweat or something

okay. but thats not what Im saying.
what Im saying is Im taking drew brees at 6th overall instead of trying to take jj watt at 6 and hope that brees falls to 17.
if anything Im taking brees first and hoping watt falls. not the other way around.

>Because the Giants are known for how great their offensive line is at pass protection

When you put it that way, yeah. That's true. I'm a little surprised Sweat fell so far after the misdiagnosis.

Stop using that namefag and stop baiting

>didn't do anything at Michigan
>coming off a shoulder injury, think he'll be different in the NFL
Puckers fans can't be this delusional, can they?

jones ceiling is Alex Smith, his floor is out of the league in five years.

you have no idea how other teams valued the player
I didnt like the pick either, but I know better than to predict where players fall

they're pros you moron, there's like 3000 O lineman in Division 1 football

they signed preston "if I only played eight games my production would be the same as playing 16" smith to a multi-year contract.

You really think he's going to last 5 years? Gettleman won't have the job that long and Eli has got like, a year left before he's out of the league.

>5
Generous

0 chance he's out of the league in 5 years, where do you retards come from?

I was giving the benefit of the doubt because of his rookie contract.

>misdiagnosis
Two doctors out of all of the guys who looked into it said it was a misdiagnosis. One of which worked for the Texans. I wouldn't trust that if I were a GM

I'm starting to think that it may have been manufactured by his agent

I mean first you get the diagnosis at the combine, but then teams say medical doctors said he can play through it, then like a week before the draft teams change their mind even though he's medically cleared, then comes the "misdiagnosis". It's a little too conicidential imo

in all honesty I'm not sure he makes the team out of training camp

His rookie contract isn't going to save him if he looks like hot garbage on the field.

he ate up double and triple blocks all day and contributed to the run game. certainly could be worse
JJ watt fell to 16 because his workout warrior status then lit the league on fire. the draft is a total crapshoot but athleticism sticks with players

If you have some of the worst pro O-Lineman going against some of the best pro D-Lineman, you get about the same results as what happened with Duke vs any of the good ACC teams

The 5th year is an option. With how bad the giants are and how old and bad manning is this kid could be nate petersond out of the league before he's finished with the 4th year

this is the third year in a row where something causes a player 'coincidentally' to drop to the Redskins.
they will keep him out of spite.

cardinals are going 0-16 next season and there is nothing you can do to stop it

>gettleman

not really, a good QB can set the O-Line right and the pros can switch on a fly. I mean the Patriots were gonna take him if he fell so I honestly don't know where the hate is coming from.

what qb do they take next year

and hows that been working out for them so far?

>the redskins baited the Giants into taking Jones at 6 and passing on Haskins
>Haskins fell all the way to the Redskins without them having to give up shit
>The giants now have to face an angry Haskins twice a year with their consensus bust QB
how do you get played so badly by dan fucking snyder

The Cardinals should start the second round off by drafting a quarterback.

>everyone too busy laughing at the Giants and Raiders to notice that the Texans made one of the worst picks of the night

Tua, then Trevor afterwards.

>jonathan allen.
stud.
>da'ron payne.
stud.
>derruis guice.
has yet to play because of injury, but has great potential, also resulted in signing adrian peterson.

if the nfl is rigged then why is the jew qb getting benched for a midget?

Drafting him 32 overall would've been a reasonable spot for him. The problem is that instead of drafting a guaranteed stud at 6 for their defense or offensive line, they drafted a maybe decent game manager. They got rid of Odell and Vernon, and this is their first big investment since

Russel Wilson isn't white, but if he wasn't black he'd definitely be white.

You know the Patriots are going to trade for him, right?

black qb's sell more to blacks than jewish qb's sell to jews.

Who are the 5 best players still available?

I really, really want the hawks to pick Taylor Rapp if he is still available at 37. I don't believe he'll last to 92.

Who do you want your team to take?

>Josh Rosen declares that nine mistakes were made ahead of him in the 2018 NFL Draft, justifying all the pre-Draft talk that he was a cocky asshole who was disliked by his teammates at UCLA

>Cardinals became the worst team in the league
>Give up on Rosen after just one year because "muh Air Raid" and "muh next Sean McVay"
>Giants don't want him
>Foreskins don't want him
>Has to watch as he gets replaced without being dealt away
>Will probably end up going to the Dolphins for peanuts never to be heard from again

When was the last time a first round QB JUSTed this hard and not because of drugs/alcohol (Manziel) or injuries (RGIII)?

nah they're taking grier in the 4th round

that's only 15 picks who cares, WRs don't win Super Bowls lmao, name one HOF WR to win since Rice

>media shocked that nobody wants rosen
did they see him play last year? i swear eisen was about to cry because rosen wasn't picked up

Brandon Weeden?

Trevor Lawrence.

The draft is a crapshoot but the league is littered with athletic freaks who do fuck all. Mostly what makes people great is vision and awareness and you can't test for it. You can't see what they see: your Tom Brady's, Edelmans, and Frank Gore's can excel because they have elite vision and can see what people are gonna do before they do it.

Edelman

I can at least understand the reach by the Texans cause Dillard went off the board right before they picked and I'm a fan of Tytus Howard's game

but a reach is still a reach, I guess the bright side he can't be any worse than what they already have on their O-line

Tebow was a first round pick.

>FUCK TRUMP

lmao Kraft has too much invested in Israel for that to happen

everyone elway has selected.

I saw a miserable football team put out miserable results.

It's also a matter of leverage, the Cardinals blew it. Why overpay when they'll soon have to take whatever peanuts you send them and like it.

marvin harrison

redpill me on brian burns

he is not eligible next year.

>they have elite vision and can see what people are gonna do before they do it.

So the NFL should test for precognition?

Lawrence isn't available next year.

Josh Rosen better get to work on winning those 7 superbowls he promised

hot take: the Redskins are a good football team plagued by injury.

Rocket skates speed.
Rocket Skates leverage.
If he can't speed rush you, he will be shut out all game. If he can beat your tackle you better put your tight end on him to help or he will feast all day.

Haskins better keep those knees safe.

Good answer. We might as well consider Gronk a receiver too, I mean honestly...

>Gettleman says he fell in love with Daniel Jones at the Senior Bowl. “After the three series I watched, I saw a professional quarterback. So that’s when I was in full-blown love.”

Ward, Harrison, Baldwin, Driver

Their defense is going to humble the cowboys.

The fact that he's a >Florida State edge rusher really concerns me but the fact that he really wanted to play for the Panthers (Plus his brother playing there) gives me a lot of faith in him. Having a good attitude is half the battle and it sounds like he really liked Rivera when he met with him pre-Draft. Plus he got to talk with Luke Kuechly a bit so he's touched by the hand of God in that sense.

I just hope he's powerful enough to set the edge in the run game and doesn't disappear when he gets engaged. If he produces the way Addison has the Panthers' pass rush should be fine again.

hot take: the Redskins are a good football team plagued by Dan Snyder and trash field.

this is the equivalent of a child watching a youtube highlight with shitty rap and then thinking they are good.

wut?

He literally isn't by any metric. His passer rating sucks, his YPA sucks, his accuracy sucks, his marginal efficiency sucks, his stats under pressure are garbage, and he's as bad against good defenses as Drew Lock, but without the "styling on bad defenses" part. He's terrible.

Tebow won a playoff game

He also had his team kneeled on in the third quarter by the pats in the next game kek

Kinda. Its a distinct skill where some guys have photographic memory and instant recall combined and that's what makes them elite that's what "vision" boils down to and then on top of it they have elite hand/eye twitch response

do you rate it on the level of Ryan Leaf? maybe not as bad of a player but definitely a comparable waste of value

Who /retarded, paint-eating front office here/

Attached: D5CtFE7W4AAQRvK.jpg (1024x576, 51K)

lmao what aren't you getting about it's college football and he's on a shit team and his numbers are still good? I mean are you 15? How have you never watched pro and college football before? Do you think Haskins 50 TD passes are impressive?

but marvin harrison's position was actually receiver.

>photographic memory
That's a myth that has never been proven under reasonable scientific conditions

>THE NEW YORK GIANTS
>THE NEW YORK KNICKS
>THE NEW YORK INJURY YANKEES

hahahahahaha enjoy your soda tax you goobers

wow thanks mel kiper

Rosen is unironically a good quarterback who has no help. Watch a Cardinals game instead of just the highlights

It's difficult to say because Leaf (A) sucked and (B) there was little innuendo and everyone knew he had an extremely shitty attitude.

With Rosen no one has really been able to get a feel for whether he's good or bad and a lot of the chatter about him is based on rumors about his time at UCLA. I know he has a ton of stans who compare him to Rodgers, but I think he's more of a Jeff George/Jay Cutler type.

what makes you think someone being shit in college will make him good in the pros

You and this guy here

by big board rankings it's probably

>Dalton Risner
>Irv Smith
>AJ Brown
>Cody Ford
>Jawaan Taylor

any one of Dalton Risner, Irv Smith, AJ Brown would be good with me

Personally I think the Cowboys had the best 1st round of any team tonight

he only played nine games and ate up a lot more blocks than the previous year. a project he is, but potential he does not lack

What? What are you missing? Gronk was basically a receiver and played a ton flexed out from the line. He will be in the HoF basically I'm saying you may as well consider him as a HoF caliber receiver cuz that's what he's going to canton for his roll as a receiver. He's not going for all the dank chip blocks and crack backs.

he wasn't shit you moron, he didn't throw for 5000 yards at Duke doesn't mean he's shit. fucking A

If you ever watched a Cards game you'd know he wilts under pressure and is as slow to read the field as Deshone Kizer.

>humble the cowboys

Attached: flat,1000x1000,075,f.jpg (400x386, 34K)

I watched Rosen take a giant shit against the Broncos last year, yes.

he did not do a lot of good things at duke either.

So you're saying he's equivalent to Goff?

Sure bud got proof? Some people only think in pictures their whole memory is photograpgic.

Gronk is one of the best blocking TEs of all time, lmao let me guess you think Daniel Jones was a bad pick

>I share a board with these people

Attached: 1396221076856.gif (200x150, 844K)

Pretty sure I'm not even watching a game this season again

Possibly worse, but yes.

Thanks, Satan

Attached: fueledbysatan.gif (349x318, 40K)

Do you know what the term photographic memory means? Or do you legitimately think it means remembering things as images?

why are NFL fans such reactionary fucking faggots?

bunch of dudes acting like women during the Draft, makes me fucking cringe

He had very good numbers for a QB at an absolute shit tier team playing against much better talent. I mean I'm not joking, you realize that he's playing with around 0 other NFL players compared to say Murray who's playing with probably 20 and I'm being conservative. I mean I could see if he was putting up Josh Allen numbers but he's not.

So you agree that if he had a similarly talented team and coach he'd be successful?

Are you seriously out here stanning for the ACC? Playing Pitt and Clemson once a year doesn't make your conference the SEC

thank god I dont live on the east coast.
all the white people over there sound like niggers doing exaggerated impressions of 1940's film noir gangsters.

is it all whites or just fucking wops over there that talk like that? its like listening to russ westbrook do a rocky impression on WFAN right now.

He'd be so "successful" that the team wouldn't sign him to an extension and would look for upgrades as soon as possible, yes.

>on Yea Forums
>asking why bunch of dudes acting like women

Attached: w8Thbu7.gif (500x281, 622K)

I'm not saying he wasn't but there are 0 blocking TEs in the HoF in at least the last 40 years. The only ones I can think of are Kellen Winslow, Shannon Sharpe, and Tony Gonzalez, Gronk and Gates are getting in as well obviously but all for their production as move TEs that could play in the slot and get a lot of receiving stats.

You're being generous if you think Daniel Jones can be as good as Andy Dalton.

Dennis Pitta, Jacob Tamme, and Heath Miller are elite TEs who deserve gold jackets.

buddy Duke sucks, every other team at least puts up NFL players year in year out

>HasSKINS.
>goes to the RedSKINS.

really makes me think.

Attached: think.gif (300x300, 892K)

Quick, which of these players would you want?

Attached: QBs.jpg (365x84, 12K)

Being the best player on a shitty team and looking good doesn't make you a top 10 player in the draft

Almost everyone in the draft have potential, so it made people wonder why the puckers draft a project at #12

it doesn't make you not either. Elway's Stanford team was shit, plenty of players on shit teams go in the top ten. Kentucky didn't go undefeated but everyone slobbed on Allen

just because all of the players around someone is really bad does not make that person good.

But apparently being the best player on a shitty team and looking mediocre at best makes you a top 10 pick.

duke was never a football team and has completely turned around their football program this decade
they are putting a decent prospect into the draft at least once a year. usually a DB or LB every year.

the volunteers havent put anyone worth drafting into the league for almost a decade now. thats a fucking tragedy right there. the mighty have fallen in tennessee.

I don't draft numbers, I draft players

>Duke receivers
>talent

if only you guys could get coaches like Cutcliffe

Yes, but Elway had a good armand made good decisions. Jones has a decent arm, and throws dangerous balls when he gets in trouble AND when he has a steady pocket AND overthrows wide open receivers consistently

2. who are they?
>people comparing leaf getting drafted to daniel jones getting drafted
you guys have no idea how good leaf was in school. he almost got drafted over peyton. leaf would have gone first overall in any draft in the modern NFL besides andrew lucks year. other than that leaf would be 1st overall any other year, every year. leaf had promise. he had incredible tape.

daniel jones doesnt have half what leaf had in his career. this isnt even close.

Then why wouldn't you go for the guy that was the most impressive player?

>Alvin Kamara
>Derek Barnett
>Eric Berry

>Implying Daniel Jones will be anywhere near Dalton's level
Dalton is a solid, above-average franchise QB, the only reason Jones got picked earlier than day 3 is because MUH KUTKLIF

Curious, why are you going 2?

1. Ryan Finley
2. Daniel Jones
3. Clayton Thorson

they are gonna waste barkelys best years. travesty

Watch Duke vs. Pitt from last year. Tell me if it's Jones or his receivers doing the work on the screens and pick plays that got him all of his yards that game

Jones is a Quarterback, Tom Brady went in round 6 but he can read a defense and lead a team. Now not saying he's Brady but draft tards would have told you he's shit compared to Akili Smith

Not if they pivot to a Saints-style ball control offense where the QB has to do the bare minimum because everything is blocked so that Saquon can take a screen 22 yards downfield on every play.

Wilson is Carlton black is why some consider him as white tho

do you know how hard it is to read slants on 3 yard drops? this is why people talk about the Manning connection, not because it's a meme

>Gruden is brain dead
>Everyone worth a damn on the Chiefs are psychopaths
>Chargers are mediocre with an old ass qb
Looks like January Joe is back on the menu for years to come.

Attached: 9xigkl3dvk301.jpg (400x400, 33K)

Idk why people use Cutcliffe as some positive for Jones when literally every other QB he has coached besides the Mannings has never made it in the NFL

He's a good coach for Duke but that doesn't make him a QB whisperer

Jones wasn't the most impressive QB in his conference, why would you go for him and not the most impressive draft eligible QB in his conference?

>take a screen 22 yards downfield on every play.
>implying screen plays arent worthless with the new blocking rules

Attached: sfasfs.gif (500x280, 1.86M)

>completion % basically the same
>TD to INT for a developing QB is the best of the 3
then again 25 to 11 with a higher completion % is the same.
Im actually surprised jones had comparable stats to finley.
and thorson is a legit 4th rounder that a team like the chargers should jump on just to see whats under the hood in a few years. could be a borderline starter. put him behind a franchise QB and let him learn.

Who are the Colts gonna take bros? I’m hoping for Arciega-Whiteside or Rock Ya-Sin.
>maybe both?

Attached: E48BA467-D143-46FF-BEA3-8FF93054DBCB.jpg (534x629, 65K)

Probably because Cutcliffe is literally the only positive people can list for Jones. "He got coached by the guy who coached the Mannings!" is literally his only standout positive trait.

what does impressive mean? Manziel was the most impressive QB in his draft

That's the thing. He makes the wrong read on those slants half the time. Watch the game. I'm not kidding. Go find it and watch it. Tell me he doesn't make some awful reads, even when he has plenty of time to read the defense

people said the same thing about Tedford and Aaron Rodgers

YPA doesn't discourage you at all? Or the higher INT%?

Can someone give me an actual breakdown on W'Keal Harry?

No, because that isn't a person

Fuck, I mean N'Keal Harry. I am very tired right now.

Has trouble separating from CB's, but good hands and tough. Weird situation where he'll be a good ST guy(KR/PR) and a good posession receiver, but won't be able to hit big plays.

Ballard may pick someone completely off our radar but I'd really like Byron Murphy at 34. I'm also intrigued by Metcalf just because he's a fucking specimen but I don't think Ballard takes someone that boom or bust

HOFs don't mean shit if they don't get you to the playoffs and wins in them.

Tough possession guy. He's a patriots receiver to a T.

that's just an opinion on information you can't know. most QBs in college don't make any reads at all so you're comparing a slow F-1 Driver to a fast NASCAR driver

can he run block?

Yes, he's pretty good at it too for a WR.

It's the wops. Then your Irish plastic paddy's who think being Irish is all about drinking and fighting.

He certainly makes a lot of bad decisions. Defenders draped on bad receivers and he forces it anyways. He has luck, but that's not a trait you want your qb to rely on

fuck you fags for only showing up when the draft is on

nope. YPA is a meme.
niggers like julio and megatron can get mariota a 13.5 YPA off dink and dunk bullshit
YPA is only 1/2 a QBs effort and maybe not even that.

gotta just look at throws.
as for INT%?
in NCAA I want to see it go lower and lower every year.
he plays SEC and throws 4 times a game against 5 1st round CB prospects? vs he plays PAC 12 air raid prevent defenses giving up 40 yard chunks every other play and whoever gets the ball last wins?

easily a 1/4 of INT's in a NCAA qbs tape can be attributed to other players.

Jags won the first round

Yeah. I'd say he's a little below Cooper Kupp-tier as a blocker, which is pretty great at WR

Dalton is dogshit without a good offense. See the 0 playoffs wins as proof.

How Arizona COULD have used their #10 pick last year instead of throwing it away.
>draft a lineman
>trade for a veteran lineman
>trade for a mediocre but stable veteran qb and a reciever
>trade for LITERALLY ANY kicker. Any team would trade their kicker for a top 10 pick. They could have the best kicker for essentially free
>trade for hookers
>sell it to some cancer kid charity for good pr

Attached: 1409910906511.jpg (448x545, 34K)

him and Marvin Lewis carried that joke of a franchise. they are gonna be Browns tier for a decade

>Marv brought on Hue Jackson
Glad he's gone. He can choke on a dick like it was a postseason game

The fact some of those shit Bungholes teams made the playoffs at all is a testament to Dalton's leadership

>honestly impressed by passionate fan bases calling in at 2am to talk sports on local radio institutions, like GB, NYC, Boston, Dallas, Pitt, hell even cincy and cleveland and buffalo.

we have nothing like this on the west coast besides bandwagon mexicans talking about the warriors or dodgers with zero understanding of the game.
feels bad bros.

which team will scoop up this treasure in round 6?

Attached: img_9532243.jpg (2000x1333, 159K)

>Jake the Flake
he'll be lucky to even get a UDFA call

I hope he and Minshew go to the same team to create the ultimate Washington connection

Could NE trade brady for the entire second round?

>you now remember Jake Locker

I'm a bit torn on the Steelers pick. Yeah it's a position of great need and from what I've heard Bush is really good but I'm not sure he was worth giving our 2nd rounder and 3rd next year for

Do I, though?

That 2015 team was fucking stacked

It was a good pick. You had to give a lot, but it was worth it to move up and address the biggest need the team has

I miss him so much. We didn't deserve him. This team would have gone undefeated with locker

E.J Manuel got 10 games year 1, then 4 games year 2 before getting benched for Kyle fucking Orton.

yeah honestly considering all that Gruden has done a solid job.

i remember his IR stints more
he seems happier in retirement at least, good for him

he literally looks like a dwarf.

>passing on darnold and allen in the best QB draft class in a decade

he was one of the rare players who could single handedly will a shitty team to a win

it was a good pick and they stopped the bengals from getting him

Because he had a great team that carried him in the past. They couldn't win any games because of dumbass mistakes from the defense and Dalton folding like a lawn chair every single time he got there.

I see his ass play twice a year to know this how shit he is.

>Sam Darnold is better than Saquon Barkley
>Literally just trust me on this one

Attached: 1546750859178.gif (250x257, 3.32M)

idk I remember people claiming after his rookie and sophomore years that he was the reason the Bengals lost, despite having pretty damn good numbers for that age. I think it got to his head at some point. Tough being a ginger I guess.

To the playoffs with no wins which he will never get. They're basically the Browns who used to go to the playoffs every year.

wtf i like daniel jones now

huskiebros, is Jacob Eason first round material?

It's also pretty tough to have AJ Green and Mohammand Sanu you can throw to while accomplishing fuck all.

you realize their owner is broke as fuck, has like one scout? Bengals were actually a worse organization than the Browns even at 0-16

guess which one we are gonna see in the playoffs?
the king of p90x is gonna spend his entire career on a 8-8 team on the good years.

AJ Brown is a pussy

>Out of 58 QBs selected in the 1st Round over the previous 20 seasons, Daniel Jones' career 6.2 AY/A is equal or better than just Jake Locker, Patrick Ramsey and Kyle Boller.

how the fuck do you know who eason is and what washingtons mascot is?
i still dont believe youre a fucking slav.

this nigga right here is as american as apple pie and 1911's or camel lights and mountain dew big gulps.
no fucking way youre a mongolian commie from the steppes.

So basically Tom Brady Mk2?

how is it that both the raiders and giants reached in all of their 6 combined picks?

Have you seen the Raven's receivers? They're fated to be the biggest bitches in the league.

the raiders played it safe
none of those were reaches and all solid starters at safe positions that can immediately step in and produce

that was the most chickenshit safe draft
i mean good for them. but with all that draft capital I was expecting fireworks. or mayock to trade 2 1sts for 32 picks in rounds 2 to 4.
but all those guys can step in day one and start and are high floor/low ceiling prospects.

All they did was draft best available for position of need. I think they just really liked the guy from Clemson and I don’t think the ability is that far off from anyone not named Bosa/Williams. They got kicked in the balls by the fucking redskins tho lol. Got the best safety, hopefully Reggie Nelson’s days are finally over. Plz god.

>I think they just really liked the guy from Clemson and I don’t think the ability is that far off from anyone not named Bosa/Williams.
100% this
peope bitching about them taking a safe DE with great production on a powerhouse team over a OLB from duke for a 4-3 defense are retarded

some mocks had Ferrell in the top 15

I don't think it's the greatest reach of all time but the only real concern I have with him is that he's pretty inconsistent in effort which is not really doing much to allay the fears that a lot of his production is from playing on a stacked defensive line

That's elite company there

What fucking drug is Gettlememe on? Because I hope he overdoses on it

I'm willing to give them some credit on intangibles/muh culture since that's hardly ever a part of outsider evaluations, but it's only relevant if they actually win. We'll see.

I can’t believe redskins dabbed this hard on the NFL.
How is this allowed

you know they drafted a nigger to play QB in the 1st right? not only that the only jiggaboo that runs slower than eli manning.
thats like drafting a chimp whose arms are too short to swing from branch to branch.
whats the point?

The Giants have the worst general manager in the NFL.

Da burrs absolutely killed it with their 1st round selection

>Reminder
Skins are happy about getting a QB that would rank below Lamar Jackson last year, anyone who used a 1st on a QB this year not named Kyler Murray is a shit franchise.

>The only lockdown corner in the draft is still available in the 2nd round.

It's a nice consolation prize after NE took our Sun Devil.

New thread needed

people probably voted thinking it was for miami's old logo

new bread

>The pats were going to take him
The Patriots were never going to take a QB at 32.
