it’s weird how he straddles this line of being a superstar and also a literally who
Nigga looks like a muppet
I USED TO THINK SHE WAS THE GREATEST THING
yea
They're better than the Beatles. Jeff Lynne is like Gilbert O'Sullivan: a McCartney parody who happens to be better than McCartney.
I do. I am also sad that The Traveling Wilburys did not last. That first album was immaculate.
Can someone explain to me who the fuck this scaruffi person is and why I should care?
He thinks ELO II is their best album
Anyways, ELO isn't the greatest band in the world, but then again, I wouldn't know who is.
very inivative
Good shit
ELOH YEAH
I wish I could smell jeff lynne's balls because I think they smell nice
TALK TO ME
ELO II is actually my second favourite, had no idea Scaruffi liked it. I don't actually like Scaruffi but it's a really underrated album.
I feel like all of their music would be improved by subtracting the "orchestra", I can't think of any track by them I know that is enhanced by violins and cellos.
kys nigger
>Tightrope
>Yours Truly 2095
>Eldorado
>Shangri-La
>Concerto for a Rainy Day
tightrope is one of my favourite songs
i like how it sounds like jojos bizzare adventure during the opening strings kinda
bump
One of the greatest bands ever yet nobody mentions them. Strange
bump
They’re pretty shit, I think it was more about seeing them live at the time due to their over the top sets.
Travelling Wilburys fucking great though.
Yes. Yes I do.
Sheeple fans are fanatics who can't think rationally. Fuck you.
Eldorado and Face the Music are patrician as fuck.
I saw them live in Chicago on the 27th, here are my thoughts on their live show
>the audience was a nice blend of young and old, average age was probably 46 year old soccer moms
>The weakest numbers were Evil Woman, All Over the World, and Sweet Talking Woman
>The visualizations are S tier
>They fucking played Rockaria, Showdown, 10538 Overture, and Can't Get It Out of My Head
>I wish they played songs from Time
>One of the songs (I think it was Turn to Stone) had the most badass fadeout I've ever heard of anything ever
>United Center kinda sucks, can't find your seat or even row in the dark
Overall I rate it a solid 7.5 / 10
ELO are one of those "musician's musician" bands, they'll never be considered one of the best but they have a ton of great songs
