I like to think of these albums as a semen-splattered wall. Under a blacklight, a semen-splattered wall bears a great resemblance to a Jackson Pollock painting. Thus, Pollock Paintings.

I want a black shirt that just says "Black People" in white lettering and see how people react to it. I'm genuinely curious if people would be offended by "Black People."

This record is the second of three (so far) experiments to get Yea Forums's music board Yea Forums to make an album. It was created in the space of about 10 hours by anonymous users. It's an interesting experiment and it panned out pretty well, I think, given that it was made by anons on Yea Forums.
The album opens with "Why are we doing this again", a title that wasn't suggested but rather was a snarky quip by an user who simply wanted to know why this was happening a second day in a row. However, as fate would have it, it became a track title. The irony is obvious, so I won't dwell on it. This track features a slowed down vocal sample swirling around a slow and catchy beat, occasionally featuring the lyrics "why are we doing this again?" As an album opener, it does a good job of setting the mood for the album, while still being one of its high points. From there we move to "Soundtrack to Shazam", a circlejerk featuring a sample from the movie "Shazam!" spammed over the top of a techno beat.

The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art. Jazz critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Classical critics rank the highly controversial Beethoven over classical musicians who were highly popular in courts around Europe. Rock critics are still blinded by commercial success. The Beatles sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Jazz critics grow up listening to a lot of jazz music of the past, classical critics grow up listening to a lot of classical music of the past. Rock critics are often totally ignorant of the rock music of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that the Beatles did anything worthy of being saved.

Ós rud é go n-ainmníonn an oiread sin leabhar na bioráin charraige mar an “banna rac-cheol is mó nó is suntasaí nó is mó tionchair” i gcónaí, ní insíonn sé duit ach cé chomh mór is atá ceol rac-cheoil ó bheith ina ealaín tromchúiseach. Tá sé aitheanta le fada ag léirmheastóirí Snagcheoil gurb iad Duke Ellington agus John Coltrane na ceoltóirí snagcheol is mó i gcónaí, nach iad na díoltóirí is cáiliúla nó is saibhre dá gcuid ama, gan trácht orthu i gcónaí. Rangaíonn léirmheastóirí Clasaiceacha an Beethoven thar a bheith conspóideach thar cheoltóirí clasaiceacha a raibh an-tóir orthu i gcúirteanna timpeall na hEorpa. Tá léirmheastóirí carraige fós dall ag rathúlacht tráchtála. Dhíol na Beatles níos mó ná duine ar bith eile (ní fíor, dála an scéil), mar sin ní mór gurbh iad na cinn ba mhó. Fásann léirmheastóirí Snagcheoil suas ag éisteacht le go leor ceoil snagcheol san am atá caite, ag fás suas le héisteacht le léirmheastóirí clasaiceacha agus iad ag éisteacht le go leor ceoil clasaiceach den am atá thart. Is minic nach mbíonn a fhios ag léirmheastóirí na gcarraigí go hiomlán faoi cheol carraige an am atá caite, is ar éigean is eol dóibh na díoltóirí is fearr. Ní haon ionadh go gcreideann siad go ndearna na Beatles aon rud arbh fhiú iad a shábháil.
Overall, it's about as good as you could imagine an album made by random anons on Yea Forums could be. I give it 3 stars, because the good parts on the album just aren't long enough ("I ruin everything I touch.", "fug", "Japanese Cuties Sipping My Seed"), and there's a few low effort tracks on here that the album could really do without ("gayperwave 波せス", "i personally think beethoven is underrated"). The rest of the album is just short interesting experiments that are a bit disjointed, as would be expected from an album made by a bunch of random strangers not working together.

Could there maybe be a way for non-music people to contribute to tracks that way the threads don't slow to a crawl during the claiming process? I'd suggest they get to say a time signature, bpm, or genre and others could fulfill that request.
Just a shot in the dark though, what do you guys thing?

I mean you could have people claim lyrics to tracks. Other Yea Forums makes music threads have done that sort of thing
