I know my situation makes no sense. That's part of what makes it so hard for me. On paper, I'm a pretty decent catch. I like outdoor activities. I can carry a conversation. I make good money and own a house. I'm not even too painful to look at.

I have absolutely zero confidence when it comes to dating and sex. When everyone else was figuring out how to date, I was studying. When everyone else was with their first long term partner, I was focusing on career. Women apparently are looking for confidence in men, which I have at areas of my life where I have proven myself to be competent, but when it comes to sex, I have 33 years of failure telling me that I shouldn't be confident. I don't know how to get past that.
