Poor Sellen never did achieve the greatness she sought.

Why would they model such a beautiful face and then hide it behind a mask?

NAKADASHI SELLEN

Nakadashi sex with me

Why are there living jars all around a lot of the Minor Erdtrees?

>Unkillable until the stars are freed
Doesn't this imply that, like Ranni, she's a member of the Carian Royalty?

she has pubes

if Schools of Graven Mages are "seeds of stars", and Astels are born from stars. I wonder if the seeds can sprout

>”We don’t want to include a difficulty selection because we want to bring everyone to the same level of discussion and the same level of enjoyment,” Miyazaki said. “So we want everyone … to first face that challenge and to overcome it in some way that suits them as a player.”
>The creator continued: “We want everyone to feel that sense of accomplishment. We want everyone to feel elated and to join that discussion on the same level. We feel if there’s different difficulties, that’s going to segment and fragment the user base. People will have different experiences based on that [differing difficulty level]. This is something we take to heart when we design games. It’s been the same way for previous titles and it’s very much the same with Sekiro.”

That is what Miyazaki said in 2018, before the release of Sekiro. And now? Miyazaki and FromSoftware betrayed their own core design philosphy and their core target audience with Elden Ring and its easy mode: The Spirit Ash Summon System. Mimic/Tirche+10 literally solo bosses and content, with me just standing there and doing nothing but watching. It might hurt to admit it, but FromSoftware sold out and casualized the souls genre, they are no longer the same FromSoftware we fell in love with and respected.

As if this wasn't bad enough, they add insult to injury by including LGBTQ+ propaganda and pandering via the removal of the mention of Sex (Male/Female) from the character creation menu and the status menu and replacing it with Body Type A and Body Type B. Why can't I select my Sex as Male/Female like I could in previous souls games?

It will only get worse from now on... Goodbye FromSoftware, I will miss you.

So given that the only known laws of the GO are legal laws (e.g. cutting off omen horns, hunting down TWLID, etc.), it seems safe to assume additional laws are also just legal laws. In addition to evidence here that no such global "immortality" law exists or is related to the Elden Ring shard known as the rune of death, we can safely conclude the GO is a normal government that is backed by an extremely powerful artifact from an outer god, but nevertheless has to wage wars as evidenced here in order to spread its order

They bring the bodies of dead to its roots. In religious tradition, an Erdtree burial is supposed to be a great honor.

Thank you

he just made that up

>As if this wasn't bad enough, they add insult to injury by including LGBTQ+ propaganda and pandering via the removal of the mention of Sex (Male/Female) from the character creation menu and the status menu and replacing it with Body Type A and Body Type B.

Don't forget Marika being a tranny

He was referencing real life, where some traditions bury the dead near erdtrees to show respect.

The gloam eyed queen was the previous ruler of the lands between before Marika

She had the powers of destined death innate to her being. She delivered death to the fire giants. That's why their corpses have death blight on them

More importantly. The two fingers choose her as emperyan. Meaning that the greater will approved her rule as potential ruler of the lands between

Eventually, The gloam eyed queen was betrayed by her own sister, Marika. With the help of Maliketh. The gloam eyed queen was defeated and her powers sealed in Maliketh's black blade

But the gloam eyed queen never fully died. Her soul was incarnated into another entity, Melina the mysterious woman who seems to know everything about Marika

More importantly. The gloam eyed queen was Ranni's mentor. The doll that inhabits Ranni's soul was inspired in her mentor's appearance. She taught her everything about cold sorceries and the like. But more importantly, she taught Ranni about the rune of death

Ranni searched for a way to escape the ertree's subjugation through stealing the rune of death and free her soul from the erdtree

But why did she killed Godwyn? There is no reason for him to die. His death makes no sense in the assassination plot. Unless, he choose to sacrificed himself in order to save Ranni's soul from the ertree. Godwyn seems like that kind of man who would chose that

But why did he choose to sacrifice his own life for Ranni of all people? Because they were arranged married by the two fingers. Remember that Ranni was chosen to be an Emperyan by the two finger. And what does an Emperyan need to rule the lands between? First off, a shadow beast. We who her shadow is. But, who would be her consort? The most obvious answer would be Godwyn. He is Marika's favorite child after all

But that doesn't mean the seed is fertile. It could also be inert.

Obsidian lords. Astel and fallingstars are fey, the lords are elves. As you know obsidian lords make for great teachers and they walk shirtless. Sellen is the perfect candidate.

I could imagine if Sellen didn't immediately turn herself into a ball the second she took over the academy she probably could have improved on the concept

Maliketh can't attack the elden rings host

Is this the new discord pasta?

Enia believes that committing a cardinal sin (the first cardinal if I remember correctly) so that the world can move forward is something worth trying.
If that's her personal interpretation as a devout follower of the Two Fingers then I wonder if Gold Mask and other high level devotees would also approve the burning of the Erdtree to break the current impasse.
But maybe they would just wait hundreds of thousands of moon waiting for a possible response by the Greater Will.

Attached: 1650237974983.png (1690x1690, 703.87K)

it'd be a half decent shitpost if sekiro didn't also have that optional "hard" mode with the charm

They don't even try to hide it anymore

Fia

Goldmask is a genius, the others are spiteful degenerates. Simple As.

Enia almost words it like "lmao just fucking burn it faggot, ain't worth waiting hundreds of years for the fingers to get new instructions"
Gideon seem to agree, even if his wording is more subtle.
Gold Mask doesn't even want to burn it until he realizes Marika is Radragon(or at the least was), and that its essentially barred from being fixed until some asshole burns it.

But does she call him onii-chan or onii-sama though

Gideon says that the Two Fingers have been useless for a long, long time.
I think he just wanted someone to become Elden Lord to stop the world's decay, that is until he supposedly understood Marika's real scheme.

Attached: 1651218866605.jpg (2732x1580, 370.2K)

how are the laws of regression and causality, and fundamentalism in general, only legal laws?

Why is it surprising?
>Jerren preferred a nomadic existence, but after spending time as a guest of the Carian royals, he became the guest commander for General Radahn. And for the first time, the restless tumbleweed would be bound by honorable oath.

Why the fuck did they make her so pretty just to put her under a mask?

Attached: die.jpg (400x394, 44.13K)

Miquella's the older twin

It heightens her charm to know there's secretly a pretty face under the stone mask

It's really funny to me that just because we're tarnished no one wants anything to do with us.

The gloam eyed queen is either Marika's sister or her daughter. Go ahead and try to refute this one.I fucking dare you.

>Go ahead and try to refute this one.I fucking dare you.
Sure
there’s no evidence thus it’s untrue
QED

>is there any NOT evidence my schizo headcanon is untrue?!?!?!?

That's why I used her sliders as a baseline to make my female character. Usually you see sliders on YouTube or Nexusmods that are just monstrosity weeb abominations like pic related. Not Sellen though, her face is a perfect balance between youthful and tastefully mature and wise.

Attached: unknown.png (1190x706, 642.16K)

In the unlikely event in which I turn into some kind of magical ball made out of heads, you'd still love me right my apprentice?

Attached: 1650689094509.jpg (2048x2048, 360.57K)

and what exactly was Marika's true scheme, it seemed like breaking the elden ring wasn't a part of this big keikaku to ruin the planet and she just did it out of anger of what happened during the Night of Dark Plots

Schizo's like to gripe on Melina and GEQ because there is so little information on it you can basically write any fan-fiction you want and there is nothing directly slapping it down.

No. Thops implies she was someone of great importance in the Raya Lucaria Academy, I think she was the latest headmaster under Rennala, since her portrait appears several times there with Azur and Lusat's and Rennala's own ones.

Because it looks cool

why do they make such monstrosities? Are they trying to make anime in Elden Ring? It looks stupid, I can understand why people masturbate to anime but realistic women can be hot too, if you are not mindbroken that is.

>it’s this schizocanon again

Attached: 5DBA0EEF-6A01-493B-B610-44528C31734D.jpg (390x640, 55.96K)

Melina and GEQ are the same person and they flew into outer-space on dinosaurs where they went into Bloodborne and arm-wrestled moon-presence, when the moon presence lost, he gave up the rune of death, then they took a space-ship back to TLB and use it to kill Godwyn.

>The Ancient Dragonlord's seat is said to lie beyond time. This stone lightly twists time, allowing the creation of a weapon capable of slaying a god.
So does this mean that you need to change fate itself to be able to kill a god?

I've no idea.
I think this time around the expansions could explain a lot of stuff missing in the base game, including Marika's true.missing info.

Attached: 1650886690942.jpg (1506x2046, 158.73K)

I can't prove it wrong so it must be true.

Gloam eyed queen is obviously Markia and Malikeeths mother, who fucked a wolf as well as Markias father, whoever that is. It's all there, you just have to look. The wolf off spring became Beast Reagents, the rest Empyrean. Simple As. Screencap this for the DLC. I expect payment for this leak in (yous)

Man I am so conflicted with Fia: she seems like one of the few mercifully actually decent people in the Lands Between after the Shattering but she also killed D and letting her birth a new great Death Rune of Demigod's will lead to the Duskborn ending, letting the cycle of life and death return to normal, which is something I think Godwyn would've wanted. On the other hand, is immortality really that bad to have for demigods and gods?

>summoning and piloting around the rock like her own Torrent
I accept this canon.

You don't think I'm beautiful user? Uguu

Attached: firefox_FTM3sf4vsV.png (487x491, 557.44K)

I think it's just because her fate is directly tied to the Carians (Rennala specifically) rather than her being Carian herself.

"Nor did the PC version of the game she played"

I think D offed himself.

I'd imagine it has something to do with the dead returning to the Erdtree via the roots. The jars are presumably gathered around the trees to gather the dead.

He was literally stabbed in the back by Fia.

He takes the dagger from you to return it to its owner, which is himself.

what's up with this guy

Attached: snakeman.png (600x315, 276.1K)

The mending rune of the duskborn isn't related to normal deaths, that's the rune of death. The mending rune turns undeath into part of the normal world which I have no Idea what it means except giving skeleton rights I guess.

He worked out at the library.

Non-cancerous tumor, duh?

I dunno man. I can't tell if she's using my bro Rogier like a lost soul turned into a tragic puppet, or if she's simply employing the undead to seek a moral outcome for those that the rest of the world would rather see purged.

Attached: dog.webm (1280x720, 2.88M)

I just assumed it was some albunaric flesh to give him an arcane buff or some shit.

Average dark souls 2 player.

D had the other half of the Hallowbrand, so she needed him to go, along with the fact that he was one of the zealots she hated anyway

After going to "talk" to Fia.

user, his corpse is literally ridden with deathblight roots when you find it

He drank a lot of brain fluid

I'm reminded a lot of medieval times by this actually, a neat detail of Miyazaki. That even though the GO is a sort of religion with huge amounts of control over the population and lots of arbitrary rules and restrictions, still every type of person is forced to live under it. That means scholars too, of which there were so many in fact that studying science was basically part of many monk's upbringing. So just as ancient physicists studied math and real laws of nature, while also being devoutly Christian, I see a similar parallel with the fundamentalists and for example the pulley bow which talks about someone with a great understanding of math and physics making it. I see no actual direct connection of these mathematical concepts and the actual political and religious parts of the golden order except that someone that's a scholar may attempt to use logic to "prove" things about their religion ala Aquinas

Of course if you dont buy any of that I'm happy to hear how you think those things fit into the GO, ER, concept of death, twlid, omens etc

He was a loyal knight of the Golden Order, I'm pretty sure the fact is only the Golden Order seemed to accept twins in general since in ER's universe the whole "soul split in two" thing means they get ostracized.

>D Twins
>Morgott and Mohg
>Malenia and Miquella

There's definitely a running theme of twins having prophetic or important roles in the story.

There's a variety of possible explanations. They could be bringing dead bodies to the Minor Erdtrees to give them proper Erdtree burials, or it could be the final resting places of the jars (and the people within them) themselves.
My pet theory, given their size, is that they're Warrior Jars that have been smashed up by the Erdtree Avatars since the start of the Shattering while in the search of stronger bodies, hence why they're all cracked and fragmented instead of just being uncorked.

Attached: 1639457422419.png (413x477, 373.64K)

>Fia gives you the dagger
>So you can give it to D
>So she can steal it from D and use it to stab him

I'm more impressed they went through the effort of making it match her portrait

Feels like they finally realised people actually care about the appearances of the NPC's with ER. Arghanthy for example, chief guardian of the flame, has ashen skin and ginger hair, reflecting his clear affiliation to the fire giants.

Attached: Elden Ring Debate Parlor Conspectus Portraits.png (960x461, 857.99K)

>letting the cycle of life and death return to normal, which is something I think Godwyn would've wanted
that's not what it does. It literally makes undeath part of the natural cycle, and makes Godwyn the god of undeath.

Which is also probably not something he would've wanted. Fia is nice, but also fucking crazy

Shit, I should've posted this one actually.
I feel like he went willingly. He does show a lot of sympathy for TWLID when you talk to him and laments that D is such an overzealous fanatic.

Attached: firefox_DxTcibGAeU.png (722x733, 700.12K)

He's a hunter, they're fanatics over purging TWLID which are her charge

Was Sellen's sidequest the most bullshit of the whole lot?

Every step of progress feels like it's only progressed by a random item that you'll find thirty hours later with no way of knowing it's connected back to her, or it's behind an illusionary wall that's nowhere near where she actually sends you.

Maybe I'm just bitter that after all of that the end of her quest was just another, "Whoops, shit's fucked." moment that happened off-screen with no explanation.

Attached: kkxuroky.jpg (2900x4096, 3.95M)

Eyes on the inside

She killed him with Deathblight branches/roots when he tried to kill her, which I'm pretty sure D was going to stab her with since he thinks she was the one that gave Rodgier aids.

i killed the jar dude in the field after killing radahn how fucked am i

user, i cant counter argument this. This must be it!

Wow. Sellen actually looks evil here.
She is such a nice person in real life too.

So when we don't put in the mending rune of undeath. Do the undead stop existing? because the actual Rune of Death is back in the Elden Ring

>Golden Order hunters like the D Twins and Rodgier want to purge TWLID because they are an affront to the natural order of life and death and serve Guraqq (Malekith) because TWLID are caused by effects of the Destined Death being removed/altered
>Fia's Duskborn ending and Godwyn's soul returning as an immortal undead demigod would restore the balance still
Am I missing something or did they have the same endgoal, just different ways of going about it>

i let D's brother kill her without killing him even though i'm fine with Fia, he deserves it to get closure

>She is such a nice person in real life too.
>mfw simps miss the part about the starseeds being made of other sorcerers
sad sack student literally tells you she was accused of killing her apprentices

Why would they

Im not screencapping shit and no one will remember you, eldenfag

you can still get his stuff anyway just reload the area
everyone more or less has the same endgoal but with mutually exclusive means and intentions. Also, you can't return Godwyns soul, it was literally obliterated.

She played with fire and got burned.
Tragic but predictable.

I thought it was a rumor or accusation that she was experimenting with forbidden Primeval Magics which Rennala banned and on top of that some claimed she had turned some students or other scholars into starseeds which got her booted. There isn't definitive proof defending or damning her either way.
