Dragon's Dogma is better than Elden Ring. More fluid combat (the movement in Elden Ring, like all DS games, is clunky and awkward), better boss fights, more challenging, more fun
Dragon's Dogma is better than Elden Ring. More fluid combat (the movement in Elden Ring, like all DS games...
This is correct. Because ER is bigger though, journos and normies will say DD2 is a copy of Elden Rehash.
Good.
That's gonna be a shit game.
I know right? Those ogres don't even delay their attacks or read the player's inputs! Casul friendly trash.
And you can fucking climb on big enemies in dragon's dogma but not on elden meme where instead you're treated to a gigantic enemy that fucks your camera, has huge retarded hitboxes and attacks as fast as a rat. Cool fucking combat you've refused to change for 10 years, fromsoft.
I never got such a strong nostalgia for DD than when I clipped a trolls eyes with a knife in ER bandit started protecting it's eyes. I just wanted to climb up and slash it, I really did.
where is DD's combat? i want to see it
I couldn't beat this because I played it like it was Dark Souls and spent 90% of my time wandering around instead of talking to the people in the main area for quests.
>DD2
I really enjoyed DD but it felt very incomplete
You hold down a button for 30 seconds and then see pretty lights
>inb4 "b-b-but that's only with mages!!!"
Then maybe you should shill your tranny game with something other than "muh amazing le magics".
Dimitri! Dimitri! Dimitri!
This. I don't mind fighting a gore chimera for the second or third times because it's so fun to do so, but in elden ring fighting the same giant a bunch of times just feels like a chore.
Are you retarded? If anything, people are trying to sell it with "muh climbing" like in this thread. Everyone knows magic is a very specific, slow playstyle that's not for everybody.
I've been recently playing a lot of Nioh 2 and it really highlights how utterly simplistic Elden Ring's combat is. It's pretty much as barebones as can get.
I really hope DD2 will be as expansive as Elden Ring, because the combat is the only thing holding ER back from being a 10/10.
Funnily enough, Warrior and colossal weapons both see the best results by spamming jump attacks.
The combat against small enemies in DD is bad
When will you faggots stop talking about DD2? You have been waiting for over a decade and you still don't have anything. And don't even start with "muh Itsuno said so", even that has been 5 years ago already. GIVE UP
I like both
I like the exploration and combat in dd far more, but that's about it.
Anyone who likes the atrocious leveling in dd has something wrong with them.
tried playing this and put it down because of the first hydra boss. I did not understand any of the climbing in this game and how it works. How do I play this game I really don't get it.
>shittershattered that people enjoy something he doesn't
>obsessed with trannies
Where did the ogre touch you?
Yup.
Fromsoft are hacks and the subhumans praising their incompetence have genuine brain damage.
>nioh 2
Based. That shit filtered fromtards so hard.
Friendly reminder, Capcom devs: I will NOT buy DD2 if there are no loli pawns. I will just boycott Capcom.
DD could benefit from Elden Ring's open world structure and small enemies combat systems like lock on and AI
The AI of humans in particular is incredibly stupid in DD
>get exp by killing shit
>level up
How is this atrocious?
More like grind the dragon room in BBI until 200
>t. Didn't play DD
It's atrocious because in order to get the stat distribution you want you have to follow an extremely tedious and autistic level order with certain classes.
I liked Nioh 2 a lot but it's not as DS3, Bloodborne, Sekiro or Elden Ring
The Capcom Ransom leak confirmed it.
The Nvidia leak confirmed it.
The (Awful) anime showed they still are interested in it.
Aniversary is on the 22nd.
Generally more interest in it now of all times for some reason.
i swear to god I’m about to give dd a try. I bet it’s shit just like all of your shilled gaymes like outer wilds and nier automata
as good*
>I like the exploration and combat in dd far more
>exploration
I was bored to tears slowly moving through generic European countrysides with the occasional fort or cave with nothing decent in it the vast majority of the time. Not even the enemies are much of a challenge unless you happen to run into something like a dragon.
This but unironically, learn to make good games dogmacucks, ask miyazaki SAMA if you have doubts
Word of advice: Try to play past the cart mission. That's the largest filter in the game because it fucking sucks all the momentum out of everything, even when you know about it in advance. You can kick the cow to make it go faster at the cost of its health though, so keep that in mind.
I forgot. THat's another reason Dragon's Dogma is better than any of the souls games
Or you can just ignore the stat distribution because it doesn't matter.
Very good pawn.
souls are better adventure games where you explore interesting locations with decent combat, while nioh 2 had god-tier combat with decent everything else, hard to compare really
sekrio however is just completely different to all of those games and a pointless comparison
I miss body-mutilation in ER.
From games are generally better, but Nioh utterly mogs them when it comes to combat.
>Make loli pawn
>It's at disadvantage in melee combat
>Mage sucks
>End up having to use sorcerer
I'll throw your schierke clone off a cliff like a did the last hundred.
Any game that lets you enter a pause menu and chug 99 heals is a joke.
Autistic minmaxers.
I couldn't even finish the first Nioh. So fucking boring
minmax autists are retarded
>Dragon's Dogma is better than [x]
This statement is always incorrect unless [x] is "nothing"
This but the inverse.
I liked a both and you're a faggot for starting gay threads like this
Nioh
>boring
Souls/sekiro
>not boring
???
>not hiring them then immediately sending them back with 1-star ratings and a rotten scrag of beast
I love armor in this game.
>can put on your comfy wizard robes AND wear chainmail underneath for protection
So satisfying. I have no clue why we're still stuck with a mere 4 armor pieces in so many games.
I didn't like the fighting, the repetitive stages with the same looped shortcut structure and the bosses were completely forgettable.
I liked that cutscene with the cat clock, but that's it.
I played DDON first
DDDA honestly kinda sucks in comparison, the vocations and weapon movesets are puddle deep
>didnt like the fighting
You mean you got filtered because you didnt understand the mechanics
>repetitive stages
Levels were fine but ok
>forgettable bosses
Lol not at all.
You have the normiest of opinions.
Oh no a disadvantage in an easy game whatever the fuck shall I do
Minmaxers aren't people so it's fine
The answer to questions like these will always be either lack of effort, budget, bland by the numbers design, or any combination of the aforementioned.
Sorry for your loss. Private server soonish.
I mean other stuff I can understand
>I didn't like the fighting
but it's objectively more substantial and complex than even a lot of pure action games
Any open-world game is better than ER.
