Working retail in a position related to customer service is enlightening. Most younger people are polite and tolerable. Older people try to force small talk, make retarded jokes, act like they're checking into a 5 store hotel as a foreign diplomat when spending less than 5 bucks on something, think every last employee in the store is supposed to have clairvoyant knowledge to everything and access to everything, think every employee in the store is HR that handles customer complaints, and despite being hyper critical of employees most of them are so out of touch they have no idea how the fuck a workplace is actually run or how anything works.

Imagine stepping onto a yacht, thinking the noise of water splashing against the ship is unreasonable, walking up to a waiter on the second deck and throwing a fit and yelling at him to stop the ship, then repeating the process with the head chef when you're told there's nothing that can be done and getting mad at him too. Like what? The clinical trials are there for all to read and analyze. We pharmacists are there to make sure the patient isn't on 15 different SSRIs or taking 30 oxy 30 mg with 4 mg xanax before bed. Our entire profession is about REDUCING the risk for our patients. All backed by clinical trials and data.
