I would like more giantdad memes
reminder that if giantdad was made today he would be berated as being "reddit" on Yea Forums
no he would be derided as a homophobic bigotted tryhard gatekeeper toxic masculinity republican far right dog whistle transphobic misogynist something something
>reddit
>not running slightly amusing jokes into the ground
pick 1
Most likely yeah, he would get overmemed like the other guy.
But maybe not, he was about pwning casuals not helping them
say that to my powerstanced collosal weapons face
This
giant dad is a build
jarman is an actual individual person
I'm so sick of this shit.
Cool pic desu, overused meme aside. How come the other souls entries didn't have a popular meme build like DaS and now ER? They obviously have meta builds but not something that stuck with the content creators like these two.
Dark Souls 2 did. It was called the Chaos Blade.
>Yong makes one video about this guy
>10 minutes after this board is spammed with this pot head guy
YOOOONG OUTTTT
2 was trash, interest was low despite the mirrion player count.
3 was way too fucking varied but everyone agrees it was either 1h spam or the cool anime shit from the DLC.
Bloodborne is stuck in a console so like 60% of the population is begging to play it instead of talking about it.
same sich for DeS.
he unironically was though. when you grow up you'll realize that everything you thought was funny on Yea Forums was because you were 14 when you started browsing it.
and that’s a good thing
who is this handsome gentleman?
I love how soulless zoomers aren't allowed to find anything funny, no wonder they're all depressed.
And then when you grow up some more you'll realize that life is an endless cycle and that you will always be cringe from the perspective of the wiser and more seasoned future you. So there's no reason to ever not enjoy something because it's through these experiences that you transcend the cringe of the past. What should terrify you isn't being cringe today, it's looking back and thinking that your old self wasn't cringe then.
>Play katana dualweilding character
>Use the same helmet
>Suddenly images appear from a character that looks like mine
>People online dick around thinking im their garbage meme whenever im in pvp
Character deleted, fuck this shit
All I remember from 2 is smacking Santier's Spear against a wall for 10 minutes, the binocular glitch and Bone Fist being the best unarmed moveset in the Souls series.
You must have had a concussion and forgot.
>Ds1
>Havelmom, Giantdad
>Ds2
>Havelmonster, Sanctum Sniper
>Ds3
>Carthus Memesword, Kylo Ren, Dragonslayer
>Bloodborne
>Bleedaboo, Bass Cannon
Bloodborne is the only one where the minmax meme builds never really took off in the community. Ds3 clerics were also a meme because of how fucking terrible they are.
He was reddit
yeah I made a similar character a while ago to help people. I had the jar head and used spiked caestus and the butt slam weapon skill. My name was NOT ALEXANDER. I really don't wanna be associated with that guy.
>Smack santier spear against a wall for ten minutes
What
>meme build vs reddit celebrity meme
Oh yeah, same thing
>He
giantdad was a pvp meta build joke not a person retard
it was a weapon in Dark Souls 2 with a huge rock around the front end of it. You break the weapon and it gains a new moveset and stats if I remember right. Pretty cool.
i never played dark souls 3 and bloodborne but havelmom and havelmonster werent memes, they were optimal armorsets and in havelmoms case its still meta
Santier's Spear starts off with fuckhuge durability and a head stuck on its spear tip. You have to reduce its durability to 0 to permanently break off the head to free up the weapon and unlock its full potential. Shit was like a spear/Twinblade hybrid with infinite durability and fucktons of damage for no scaling. It was *literally* broken
Say what you will about DS2 it had some original ideas
It was also one of the better weapons to circumvent the shitty durability system they had in place. Going from a clunky hammer spear to a twinblade was pretty neat.
Santier's spear was a shitty halberd with 999 durability, but if you broke the stone head on it's blade by smacking a wall endlessly, it turned into a spear with a twinblade/lance/halberd mixup moveset and actually infinite durability.
>make a new character called let me solo her
>dress the same as the meme man
>put summon outside her boss room just like the original
>instead of soloing her, keep fucking up and die while being a complete waste of time for whoever summoned you
hehehe... I am a geniuns
>never got a chance to try a dual bonefist build
>Let me yolo her
Chug x2 explosive physick, then immediately sever finger after
...
>Bloodborne
>no pizzacutter
We can only hope it gets modded into ER.
It'll happen to you too.
nigger
You'll learn.
Jarreddit man is not a meta build
I had no idea that's genuinely coollol
shut up grandpa
yeah well dks2 is considered the best game in the series for a reason user
>t. redditor trying to fit in
>Bone Fist
>Santier's Spear
>Dual stonedoor greatshields
>Berserker Blade
>two Moonlight greatswords
>two flameberge style greatswords
>greatswords in general having access to vertical and uppercut attacks instead of the bog standard horizontal swings
They had some good ideas at the time its just a shame that every game they always throw serviceable shit out. Just one souls title that has access to every armor set and weapon that has come before would be cool thing to see.
DS2 did have a bunch of cool little things like that. Shame so much of it is greatly overshadowed by the big flaws.
There were a bunch of cool shit in DS2 that sadly never made it into subsequent games.
I'm still so fucking about the lack of a Company of Champions or Vanquisher's Seal in subsequent games.
what the fuck, i never knew this
i mean i knew you could break the rock, but i thought it'd just come back when you rested or repaired the spear again
fucking hell
>t. tumblrite trying to fit into my tight boipussy
Ds2 may be a fucking mess of a game, but it is unrivalled in it's innovation on the pvp combat. There were a ton of mixup or juke weapons with wildly varied movesets, and a few weapons that combined a regular sword or shield with a casting implement.
there's also the attunement glitch that was discovered way after the game had its peak
having 30 forbidden sun casts is pretty wild
>not knowing about the single greatest moveset that has ever existed in any Souls game
youtube.com
People also forget that your character was ambidextrous so you could effectively play as a left handed swordsman if you wanted. Also parrying with a two handed weapon was a thing but the timing windows were pretty shit on it.
Just wait until you hear about Yorgh's Spear.
Shit, I didn't mean meme or minmax builds in general but builds popular enough that they become a "something" outside the community too. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
What's the fastest path to this weapon?
REDDITTRANNY FEARS THE OG
(You)
Holy fuck super parries were so good. It was hard to pull off in PvP but you would literally fucking cum in your pants when you prediction super parried a katana shitter with an UGS.
>giantdad
>not reddit as well
lol
I did that once, completely dominated pvp with just a shield and straight sword simply because people had no idea how to fight in reverse. There is a slight damage decrease though, maybe 5%?
Also Artorias' sword gain access to all the flip moves if wielded lefty, whereas it's just a run of the mill clunky greatsword if wielded normally.
have at least one pharros key and one fragrant branch, go through forked road to doors of pharros and pick it up
