Fucking first of the two episode the first half is just taken over by melmetal shilling and hyping that then just becomes a farce. Then Silvally just gets pushed aside by pikachu and you get hype with Zoroark appearing. Then next episode Zoroark and pikachu nearly instakill each other right at the beginning for fucking lycanroc fagging which was a cool fight but ash won because of fuckign countering the counter out of fucking nowhere.

Out of all the fucking leagues Ash could have won, he won the joke one... Atleast Guzma's mini arc was pretty awesome.

thanks I needed the laugh. and before you go all "SMfags mad" I've studied pretty much all the battle scenes from the series as a hobby/learning and aside from the last few fight and 1 or 2 important scenes they relied on a lot of cheap animation tricks used in shonen series that are made more for mass production. Case in point the none-action scenes of other seasons compared to XY. Hell its partially why we got this alola style as the company that does this animation in know to be experimental with production. they were happy with XY fighting scenes but found it to be taxing at times and the non-action scenes suffered frame count and the like which is why they changes it up for SM. They've goon on record saying their new production model allows for more frames in less time with more fluidity which is why they chose this alolain style look for this season.

ya no most fight aren't as good as this and most if not all agree this was the highlight of the tournament. That not counting the fact he will get robbed of his victory at the last moment and in doing so destroys his story arc through out the season. If you like fighting just look up the XY battles as they are the only good things about the season any more.

There are roughly 1080 episodes of pokemon. If each episode spanned a day, then Ash would be about 13. Some episodes span multiple days, and there's a lot of traveling in between episodes. Ash should be 13-16.
