The redesign corresponds to the medical guy that is kneeling down in the original picture. The combat team is different, the guys standing with weapons, different equipment and helmet for obvious reasons.

Trauma Team has elite PMC units mixed in with highly trained and skilled surgeons/doctors. A team is usually comprised of several of both. The Trauma Team in the original image lacks the body armor needed to deal with weaponry, so it looks like they updated the design over time to more realistic.

I don't see how that relates to my question. Even in military medics are clearly marked and easily recognizable, which is the exact same thing that's going on in the screenshots

I'd think this would only take a few seconds to figure out, and you should be glad that they're offering some form of variety rather than having a million clones running around, but I guess that realization required at least one brain cell, so I'll help you out with this one.

The book fluff is pretty funny to read, they basically go in, shoot anyone who gets in the way (security guards who insist on asking for IDs, etc), sends them a bill, and let's their lawyer figure it out. MW and TT also both drive heavily armored tanks and regularly get into rocket launcher battles on the highway who then crash into buildings and kill people. One guy was choking, activated his broken medical card, and was given a quick bout of Heimlich by TT. He then got angry when he saw the bill, so they shot him and charged him extra for ammo.

God I hope CDPR doesn't fuck up TT/MW. The quests/scenarios basically write themselves.

I was thinking, this concept of armed EMT's might actually become a thing in our lifetime.
There are reports of EMT's getting attacked in no-go zones all the time, they are already being kitted out with bulletproof vest, stab proof gloves, helmets etc.
I think its just a matter of time before they start wielding some serious firepower.

Cybernetic enchancements aren't just expensive, they're also conducive to fucking your brain up. They might have brain chips or adrenal gland mods for better adrenaline control but they're not gonna jack up their skin and bones when you could just wear armor

They kill, they heal, it's an ironic paradox.

They're essentially very expensive paramedics that usually only corpos can afford. If they don't arrive to your location within 3 minutes, they don't get paid which is why they will often just gun down everybody in their way to make it there in time. They're probably my favorite aspect of the Cyberpunk lore so I hope CDPR really pulls them off well in the game.

I like the latex-esque glove addition, and the new surgeon's mask. Certainly beats it being a bland full-head helmet. I have no idea why they added camo to the fucking thing, however. And the sleeves only seem to exist so casuals know what to look for.
