Who was in the wrong here?
Legacy of Kain
Kain did nothing wrong.
Kain did everything right.
Kain may have done something wrong here and there.
I may have gone too far in a few places
Razael is more badass
Kain is deified
Kain shidded and farted
Who was in the wrong here?
Kain.
Butthurt little retard
>wahhhhh my own creation evolved better than me I’m gonna rip his wings off and damn him to eternal pain
The chad raziel vs the virgin kain
Considering Kain never dies and eventually slays the Elder God(probably what was going to happen in those unreleased games), Moebius was clearly and factually wrong.
Cast him
Try playing past the first SR game. Kain is operating at least 4 layers of understanding above Raziel.
Thats not really what happened. Thats merely what Raziel thought happened. Kain never wanted to kill Raziel.
Literally not why he did it.
What systems are the other ones on, I only played soul reaver for the Dreamcast
PC has all of them
Bueno
The entire series is available on PC. They're currently 75% off on GOG, you can get the entire series for 6 bucks.
This is still one of my favourite scenes

>Let's drop the moral posturing, shall we! We both know there's no altruism in this pursuit, Your reckless indignation led you here; I counted on it!
Are there any other games where characters speak like this?
GoG is even having a sale right now for the Legacy of Kain games
but they don't have Blood Omen 1 for some reason? which is a shame because I'm having a really hard time tracking down a PC copy, even through legal methods
Hennig for shitty writing bogged down with plotholes. Soul Reaver 1 was supposed to conclude the series and it should have, as the consequent games are retarded in terms of story and ruin the prior games.
Different publisher, that's why. The game is basically in copyright limbo atm, it would be very hard to track down a legal copy, you're best off just pirating the thing.
It's a total bitch to run on modern systems though, you'll have to limit your clock speed to even boot it up. A GOG version would probably fix that, as they usually do, but it's unlikely we'll ever get one.
shit, well I might as well find a PS1 copy to emulate in that case
ty tho
Kain operated on so many levels you cannot even fathom
Time fades even legends and the origin of the Soul Reaver was lost long ago...
imagine being this dumb
PS1 version has shit load times constantly
kindred this blade and I
Nah it's straight up abandonware.
Nah, the dialogue style in LoK is too based for most pleb devs to do correctly. Niggas can't handle purple prose.
fuck now i have to replay Blood omen 1 again
Alan Wake kinda did it but to a much smaller extent. Same with Castlevania Lords of Shadow 1.
>Brute force destiny until the coin lands on its side
Not that complicated m9
At least it fucking runs properly
Yeah don't listen to that guy. I don't think the PC version of Blood Omen even runs properly on newer operating systems. Just emulate it or get it for like 5 bucks on the PS3 store.
Grab the ISO
/vr/ used to have a MEGA with the patched installed on it, also use Dgvoodoo2
even with the PSP version, blood omen still suffers from loading problems in consoles and emulators
Well I just told him the truth m8. The load times in the PS1 version are annoying.
now when there it is many factors WHO ALSO wants the same goal in fucking over nosgoth because of the Parasitic Squid
Lords of Shadow 1 was a straight up homage from Konami to Blood Omen
Destiny.
>eventually slays the Elder God
Yeah. Kain would, after putting his Soul Reaver with Raziel's soul freshly fused with it back in Avernus Cathedral, go back to the Soul Reaver era Nosgoth and end the Elder God once and for all.
>do something you're destined to do in such a way that it isn't what you were destined to do
You can't even comprehend. All of Kain's actions are something he's supposed to do, yet he finds a way to give them consequences that aren't supposed to be.
The super Soul reaver became a weaponized paradox, if it hits it deletes from the concept itself.

Master, my apologies, a momentary oversight. Somehow, Kain still lives and has unexpectedly dispatched me.
Raziel's a bitch boy hellbent on prissy revenge
Kain did what had to be done
Down with the elder gods
Kain was. He fixes the mistake though.
Then Raziel goes for the multikill
>Hey timestreamer, wanna see a horrific relevation that you were a pawn of an eldritch demiurge all along?
ive played both and its only now I recognize that Moebius and Pious share the same voice
one thing I never really got, how did Kain survive after Raziel rips the Heart of Darkness from him?
HE's also Lord Commadner General Freddie mercury and BIG BOSS
>youtube.com
He was too powerful at that point honestly. Beyond being an ancient, powerful vampire he was also the last scion for a reason. Dude wasn't a bitch.
Heart of darkness was implanted into Kain when he was a child, it was used to transform him into a vampire, but much like Janos himself, Kain becomes an immortal and the heart holds no other function to him. There may be a question in why Kain didn't go into slumber like Janos, but that can be explained either by it being a side effect from the heart not actually being a part of him, like it was of Janos, or because unlike Janos Kain kept living for aeons constantly evolving, as mentioned in Soul Reaver. Or maybe he's just heartless.
In LoK vampire transformation is not biological. To turn a human being into a vampire an already existing vampire has to transfer him one of his magical abilities. Mortanius used Heart of Darkness as a conduit to transfer a power from Janos to Kain, and the power Heart held was immortality. It kinda mirrors the time paradox of Raziel where the cause and effect are cycled into each other, heart grants Kain immortality, which prevents Kain from dying when that heart is ripped out of him.
The Soul Reaver was always a weaponized paradox, that's why it was able to change fate. The difference at the end of Defiance is that it's not only a weaponized paradox but also a purifier as Raziel absorbed the spirit of Balance before being absorbed into it.
The Blood Reaver was just a sword that sucked blood.
You for making this thread everyday.
nah
Thought it was only a weaponized paradox while it was wielded by Raziel?
The reaver is powerful enough to make All of nasuverse his bitch
Alan Wake was literall netflix tier
get oudda here.
No, the creation of the Reaver itself is paradoxical. For the Reaver to exist Kain has to cast Raziel into the lake. To get to that point Kain needed to have Raziel's soul before. And for the Blood Reaver to become the Soul Reaver Raziel needs to have the Wraith blade, which came from the shattered Soul Reaver.
