Why did it have to suck so bad?
Disappointment

I liked the music youtu.be
I liked the story a lot and overall it was fine and did a great job at finishing the trilogy, however I must agree that compared to the other 2 titles it wasn't as fun.
I know this is a common complaint but honestly, FUCK the batmobile. The single biggest mistake in this game right here.
I replayed the game recently and the batmobile itself is fine. What is annoying is the bad boss fights and poor side quests and that god awful ending
>and that god awful ending
Hold on what's so bad about the ending? Gotham was barely afraid of the bat, he'd become too known, so activating Knightfall and becoming a nightmare was great.
It didn't. The only thing weaker than City/Origins is the bosses.
It was disappointing but it's still far above any of the shit being released nowadays
I thought it was decent.
The problem is that the resolutions for the villains get repetitive.
>Batman punches villain in the face
>drives to Gotham PD while they do a monologue
>puts them in a cell
>repeat
It's kind of a neat gimmick at first but it gets so old.
Sorry allow me to clarify. I mean having to do side quests to unlock the ending.
The pacing of the game was all retarded. The climax of the game was fighting Jason, and then going after Scarecrow was just randomly in there afterward.
It didn't really suck. Plenty of good shit in there. Just WAY too much Batmobile and boring bosses.
Oh yeah collecting all those riddler trophies was such a fucking pain.
>and becoming a nightmare was great
I don't understand how this was supposed to work, though. Wouldn't everyone immediately put it together that it's the same guy as before, assuming he intervened often enough? Sure, he fakes his own death, but being able to fake a death is the kind of thing people would expect out of Batman.
I got it for 15 bucks and I liked it. Batmobile was fun. Nothing groundbreaking, but its whatever.
Literally everyone in this thread saying how they enjoyed their time with it, so everyone point and laugh at OP for trying to start shit.
I think it would be down to the actions he takes. Batman was all about a code, doing right by police, being a hero and all that but Nightmare bats just fucks you up with fear toxin and causes hysteria in criminals in a way Batman never did because he's crossing those lines now. With how superstitious everyone is in DC they'd probably sooner think it was the ghost of Batman instead of Bruce faking his own death.
I will respect his op-
fuck you OP
kek
The only game I can say I liked getting them was asylum
Man, that Deathstroke fight was a bunch of nothin, but blowin up shit with the tank is not too bad overall. The team up attacks are rad...give me a Batman/DC game with assists and character switching. I love that type of shit.
It wasn't as good as Arkham city but it definitely didn't suck. Better than asylum and origins imo
I really hope those Court of Owls rumors are true, I'd love to play the Batman again.
>No bosses except the ones you fight in the batmobile
>Forces you to do tedious tasks on the main questline and side missions in the batmobile
>Fighting drones (fucking drones) in the most unfun way possible in the batmobile
>the fucking batmobile
Why?
Agreed and I think that's mainly due to how Asylum was handled as it's structure and play style is quite different to every game after it.
Remember when DeathStroke was the most epic fight in the Arkham franchise and then they made him a fucking batmobile boss fight?
End it all.
It would have been fucking amazing if they had you more or less re-do the fight from Origins, but he had a larger suite of abilities to combat your own tools. Put it in an arena made from wrecked tanks, and it would have been a real spectacle of a fight.
There's boss fights in the DLC like Croc and uh... technically you whoop Two-Face's ass too.
>"People are retarded, I guess."
Yeah, thanks Rocksteady.
I JUST WANT TO PLAY A BATMAN GAME WITH A DYNAMIC CITY THAT I CAN GET COMFY PATROLLING, COME ON WARNER BROS
what fucking engine did this game use because it really holds up
I understand including the Batmobile, but I have no idea why they felt the need to shoehorn it so thoroughly into everything, especially when everyone agreed how fun it was to navigate Arkham City with the grapple.
The story being a disaster would be excusable if the rest were solid; I can forgive Arkham City's dumbness because so much of the game is well-constructed. Arkham Knight just irritates me to even think about.
You are talking about a universe where people can't tell Superman is Clark.
