Space Dandy is pretty funny I remember many parts that made me laugh years later. Only one user mentioned it.

I guess I'm in the minority but I dropped this after three episodes, didn't laugh at any of the jokes. I found them all really moronic to the point I couldn't even laugh at them, I'm serious, it was just one of those anime where EVERYONE seemed to love it and I just...I don't know? For the life of me I couldn't see the hype or appeal at all. It just simply was not funny to me at all. I guess that makes me a jaded or boring person? I'm not sure. I do believe it was incredibly overhyped for something really simplistic.

They come up sporadically, I agree that non have surpassed nichibros but some have come close. From last season alone, I may be alone in this but I found Kaijin Kaihatsu pretty funny. But not in the same way nichibros was, bro humor is indeed a rarity.
