Are you good at saving up money?

Attached: CITY - c162 (v12) - p110 [dig] [Kodansha Comics] [danke-Empire] {HQ}.jpg (2475x3375, 298.79K)

>Are you good at saving up money?
not really but expensive purchases are too much of a hassle so I end up saving up anyway

Thanks, anonsito.

Thanks for the dump OP. I've been silent in previous threads so thanks as well for all the other dumps.

My parents used to give me money for doing well in school. At one time I had about 400 bucks saved up in a toy bank. I don't remember what happened to it.

thanks, OP. i'm super frugal, so i have a large sum of money in various accounts that i'll never withdraw from because i was taught to save money instead of spending it and so i never want to use any of it ever.
my friends talk about how they're living on spare change and i feel guilty about my situation, but then i remember they're spending my monthly food budget on gacha rolls so I don't as bad anymore

>i never want to use any of it ever.
Being frugal is a good thing but what's the point of never using the money you've saved EVER?

so that i can use it when i get a house or retire or something like that

Yes, I'm low maintenance

In high school I had like $400 from saving, unlike my siblings who spent everything in one go.

Maybe we could have fit this chapter in the other thread.

Thanks OP.

Yes, but only in the sense that I don't spend a lot. As in, I don't try to save money, it's just that I have very low expenses and very low standards

i know something strange about animals. people who own birds will get their brains scrambled from owning one and become a bit kookoo in the head.

>Do you know of any strange animals?
Ants, ants are fascinating. I was watching this documentary about a species of ants in which the hive acted as a faux brain. Within the anthill, the ants all maintained physical contact and used scents and vibrations to pass information along just like a neural network. And there are other species of ants who can even farm. If ant's were able to get their act together humans would be in real trouble.
I think bugs in general are disproportionately interesting/weird. I'm more likely to be spooked by a bug than a mammal, despite the bug being much less dangerous.
Also crows and ravens, mainly how smart they are.

Attached: Broken heart and broken bones. Finger plaster casts and horse pills.jpg (439x299, 128.74K)

Great job as always

>I'm more likely to be spooked by a bug than a mammal, despite the bug being much less dangerous.
I sure know that feeling

Attached: 31271E5E-FDCE-4CB3-B300-8EF49C2AC7AA.jpg (478x1424, 338.09K)

I've seen videos of ants building bridges and and completely cleaning a dead animal. If they were any bigger they would be a nightmare.

Thanks OP.
>Do you know of any strange animals?
Nothing special. The strangest animal I've seen was a little squirrel in a tree branch when I went hiking.

>I sure know that feeling
I thought about you as I was typing that. Still though, its strange. If I were to see a mouse in my apartment I would jump into action and grab a broom or something. But if I saw a spider half the size I would pause like a deer in headlights.
I love watching ants. As a kid I used to leave food outside the anthill in my backyard and just watch the ants discover it then systematically demolish it.
>If they were any bigger they would be a nightmare.
It's not size that matters, its sentience. Imagine if they were as smart as people. We would be fucked

Attached: michiru bug.png (211x267, 37.12K)

>But if I saw a spider half the size I would pause like a deer in headlights.
There’s likely an evolutionary reason why a lot of people don’t like bugs or arachnids
Probably because some are poisonous or something along those lines

Maybe, but I don't really buy into evolutionary psychology (sorry Lindy). After all, not all spiders in all parts of the world are dangerous.

If ants were the size of cats at their current level of intelligence, they would be at the top of the food chain.

No way, their main strength is their small size. If they were cat sized they wouldn't be able to build hives as big as they do and with as many numbers. They would sort of be a better version of rats. Rats are large and semi-smart, but they are able to be controlled by humans do to their size.
If ants had human intelligence and kept their size they would be unstoppable. They could slip into the small cracks of buildings and cut the power lines. They could move in swarms, eating entire people, then fade into the urban environment. They could take over a computer, read the messages on an anonymous imageboard, and find out how to make their way to a specific posters apartment just to scare him.
Ants need smarts, not size

If ants were the size of cats at their current level of intelligence, they would be extinct

it's pretty incredible seeing arawi draw a beak

Attached: objet d'art.png (586x781, 76.85K)

i don't think it comes up in the anime, but the manga shows her HUD

Attached: 007.png (1467x2100, 1.11M)

Keep away from my bust.

Attached: anti beak.jpg (1957x645, 880.5K)

I love this moment from the manga, but it always upset me that Nano's HUD is inaccurate. It displays a circle that follows the object, but this is kind of thing is a visual aid that would only aid a human operator. Instead Nano's HUD should be displaying where the missile is, which it does by knowing where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.
In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was.
The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.

I think this chapter doubled Nano's cuteness. She's always tried her hardest to be human but this chapter really emphasizes how much of a super robot she is. She can fly, make force fields, shoot a gun, has that robot vision but all she wants to do is go to school with her friends. I love it.

>I think this chapter doubled Nano's cuteness

but the old hag took the money?

Doesn't this count?

In the first place Nano's reasoning ability is probably quantum mechanical rather than just being electromagnetic so I don't know why you would assume her method of calculation would be the same as an actual computer guidance system, if anything it's probably more accurate to consider her as a human-like homunculus piloting her own body.

Hinamatsuri set the bar too high.

Heads being bonked by a washtub < Heads being crushed by an anvil < Heads bursting out of walls < Heads rapidly spinning around 360 degrees in a non-horror context.

Everything you need to seduce Nagumo: Money.

>Heads being bonked by a washtub
that is very specific and I can only remember one manga that has that

Attached: file.png (877x379, 326.12K)

It crops up a lot in gag manga and anime. The washtub is basically Japan's version of the anvil, something idiomatically heavy that is funny to drop on somebody's head.
