I'm oblivious to these things, can someone fill me in? From what I've gathered AnimeJapan and Jump Festa are the big ones when it comes to anime announcements (adaptations/sequels/originals and so on). Is AnimeExpo an event of the same level?
Sometimes it has announcements.
It’s a normie gathering in the sweltering heat. It used to be really hype but it’s so poorly managed and the announcements are iffy that it’s only really worth going to if you’re an idolfag.
It has had some pretty big announcements here too, not to mention the licensing of surprises shows people wouldn't would ever come here regarding Classics.
E3 of Anime in the US just like TGS is the AnimeJapan.
Magia Record and Bang Dream promotion.
AX is for dub announcements and acquisitions. Only westaboo studios like Trigger announce any new projects at AX.
