I liked it

I expected a lot worse

If the first two posts get dubs then the next Halloween film will be kino - oh look at that

Hown could a 65 year old man overpower everyone? Was it just genes?

Supposedly he's "The Shape" which could mean all kinds of shit.

>everyone
Who is everyone? Half of his kills are by surprise, the other half are lanky ass teens or women trying to fight back

How does he do it bros?

Attached: halloween-sequel-new.jpg (948x435, 222K)

It was okay.

Too gory for me. I like the blatant lack of gore in the original

Does it really deserve another 2 sequels?

Literal "retard strength."

Probably not but I prefer Myers over Jason and pretty much everything else if they had to choose. Just wish the guy wasnt so old. He should have passed his killing genes onto someone else. It's really the only way for the franchise to survive.

what is face ctually supposed to look like underneath the mask, never watched any of the films

unironically he's just like me

whats your rankings bros.

I just like the first one. those breezy suburban neighborhood shots are untouchable

It's gonna be the original guy playing Mikey in Halloween Kills instead of this guy

Attached: sw9jewx3b3h11.jpg (2048x1114, 231K)

shouldn't have killed toby huss, he was hilarious

the "I spilled peanut butter on my penis" line was odd though when he was talking with his daughter. wtf was that about?

Do they take turns or something?

This scene right here
youtube.com/watch?v=YKElfNcED28
Seems like something from the Rob Zombie version

If only that scene was a porno

I enjoyed the character development in this one

Attached: Screen-Shot-2016-09-26-at-8.18.55-AM.jpg (1854x1264, 324K)

Which Space Harrier boss is this?

he's EVIL

i think the real question here is....wtf was his problem?

Attached: Rob-Zombie-Halloween-Movies.jpg (948x435, 503K)

What do you mean? Nick Castle only had a small part as the shape in the 2018 version (it says the window scene and breathing sounds), I guess it was more of a cameo but for the next one he'll be paying the shape entirely.

>halloween kills (2020) on set pic

Oh I thought he was the original Mikey from Halloween

killing roasties as usual

>changes into a manlet

Yeah.

Shame they ruined this scene both by spoiling it in the marketing and then ruining it in the film by directly following it with a cheap laugh.

Her boyfriend pinned to the wall looked neat, though.

but what was mikes tax policy? would any of the murders hold up in court? did he even do anything wrong?

>Her boyfriend pinned to the wall looked neat, though.

I think they had to make up for the terrible knife murder in the first one. Look at how big that knife would have to be to pierce through the body, then into the wall, with blade and handle sticking out. They made up for it in 2018. Looked real as shit.

Attached: halloween-product-background.jpg (1920x1080, 200K)

Nick Castle is like 80 and only did the cameo in the last one because that's all his health would permit. He's definitely not doing anything more than a cameo in the sequels, too.

she's going to milk this franchise for all it's worth

Attached: saga-Halloween-jamie-lee-curtis-protagoniza-pelicula_0_12_1499_932.jpg (1920x1080, 236K)

basically used a hacksaw

Attached: sword.jpg (877x758, 166K)

Yeah I misread and thought it was only Nick, it's gonna be him and the other guy from 2018 both playing the shape in HK.

Speaking of milk.

What was gory other than him curb stomping the curry doctor?

Shill

>they did makeup from him getting the coat hanger in the eye
Nice

Looks they fucked the masked again

I kind of wish the movie was about Michael Myers stalking the interviewer and his assistant instead, just because they goaded him on. It would be an old man killer trying to relive his youthful slasher days.

It was so boring and nobody was likable.

I liked it because of the twist. But the intro scene was really dumb like the character in OP pic. Also, I'm sick for geting a boner when MM choked Dana to death?

I feel like it started out pretty well and then turned into total trash around the middle.

>nobody was likable
that's the point

It was also weird how little they seemed to care that he died.

i dont blame her. what else does she have going for her?

I liked it because of the twist. But the intro scene was really dumb like the character in OP pic. Also, I'm sick for geting a boner when MM choked Dana to death?

Attached: Dana.jpg (540x317, 17K)

they made him out to be an incestual racist annoying prick. i was glad to see him folded up in the closet with the bath towels.

I don't remember any of that, I liked him.

I liked the whole mental institution vibe a lot. But I do feel like they could have done it more effectively. As well as the final scene where the girl is just holding the bloody knife. Like...all that work and you couldnt just do a simple pan out on the car driving down the road, or something more aesthetic. fuck

The only real issues it has are LE EPIC FUNNY BLACK KID and that other fat comedy relief teenager. I don't even mind the banal dialogue the police had over sandwiches, that's the kind of thing two bored cops would talk about.

>it was shit on purpose
OK.

>peanut butter penis talking to daughter
>indian peyote joke to daughters bf that was awkward for everyone
>annoying as fuck
crushed to death

no, they make the characters unlikable so you can enjoy them getting massacred. if you want characters to love go watch romcoms or star wars

Would have been a great movie if not for the you-go-girl generational bullshit

>$10 Million Budget
>$300 Million Box Office
How do they do it bros?

But if you think about it, Michael survived. So they failed. They were too stupid to just arm themselves with a shotgun each and wait down in the basement for him. That would have ripped him to pieces.

way to fuck it up buddy

THE BLACKEST EYES and shit

This next one definitely has to make up for the girl power bullshit of this past remake. Also, how the fuck did Lorie Strode build that wilderness fortress? How did she afford even all of the materials and technology to put the place together herself?

lorie strode criminal past spin-off when

so, Carmella's dad from the Sopranos

Sycho Sid in coveralls?

btw, they didn't care who I was until I put on the mask

Attached: clinty.gif (500x213, 953K)

I agree. It could have been a lot worse. Jamie Lee was killing it.

I like that you're concerned about how "terrible" the scene is due to the knife's length instead of that a knife couldn't hold up an entire body.

Eitherway, it's not important.

Funny story: all of the leaves you see in the original film were fake and hand-painted. They had to pick them up and re-place them in between shots.

65 year olds are strong as fuck. My gramps was 85 and had Alzheimer’s, I had to manhandle him to sit, stand, get into cars, etc and he’d overpower me. To be fair he was a strong as fuck farmer in his youth. Sad disease. The badass passed last year. RIP grandpa.

Avatar cameo could be possible.

They're giving Coming to America a sequel. Maybe Trading Places 2.

I liked it all more or less except for the Dr. Loomis wannabe and the twist that involved him and the sheriff. Very retarded and took me out of the movie for 10 minutes. If it wasn't for the home invasion scene being so well done I would've written the whole movie off for that one plot blunder. What the fuck were they thinking?

the spic guy was good to Mikey

good

it happens

>OMG SHE'S SO INDEPENDENT AND STRONG

Old Man Strength is real you dumbass.
>lil bro and I are 12/13

>brother and I can barely lift one
>grandpa lifts one with one hand

thrice the age, double the fall

>open with the podcasters trying and failing to be the new thing in true crime """journalism""""
>their big break is to interview the babysitter butcher, Michael Myers
>reference the first movie like any true crime doc, him killing a few teenagers that night in a rampage with some input from the late DR. Loomis and his new shrink about he's remorseless and a sociopath
>they go to interview him, mike is silent and intimating the whole time and its pointless
>the pod casters interview a trio of other patients who are obsessed with mike and worship him as copycat killers.
>during his transfer the other inmates jump the guards and help mike escape, mike kills them anyway
>Now mike is loose, and by chance runs into the podcasters killing the girl and injuring the guy. He survives but wants revenge
>then mike moves on to Haddonfeild and goes on a killing spree, even does some edgy shit like kill some kids
>laurie is ready, and goes out looking for him
>her and the podcaster guy team up with the police, theres a speech of her calling the podcast guy sick and "just as blood thirsty" for some hamfisted social commentary
>after a few failed attempts, and several murders, she breaks down and reaches out to her estranged daughter to make peace, the lowest point of the film. They make reluctant peace and its discovered lauries granddaughter is babysitting right in the middle of mikes killing spree
>movie ends with Laurie and CO show up in the middle of the killing spree so it starts from the first repsonders POV as an homage to the original
>podcaster guy is killed heroically saving her granddaughter, mike sees laurie and doesnt give a shit. showing hes just a monster and she was unlucky that night, he doesnt give a fuck about her and there is no deeper meaning to it
>mike is injured by Laurie and some cops and escapes, setting up a sequel

there, I just wrote a better script and I only had to think about it for 5 minutes. Pay me hollywood

1>2>3>Halloween 2018>H20>6>Halloween 2(zombie)>Halloween(zombie)>4>resurrection>5

>Old Man Strength is real you dumbass.
No it isn't. Elderly men lose muscle mass annually. He's strong now because he wasn't a bitch at your age.

>other inmates jump the guards and help mike escape
other inmates were mentally retarded, and look barely capable of wiping their own ass let alone help pull of an escape
>injuring the guy. He survives but wants revenge
The guy was a sissy. No way he wants revenge.

Other than that your idea's okay. The 2018 movie was fine. I think Lories daughter was miscast though, and should have ended up being more tactical and gun obsessed, or in a mental hospital herself. Imagine if your mom was Lorie Strode. No way she's living a chipper suburban married life like everyone else.

Maybe Michael gets transferred to the same mental hospital she is at or vice versa. Theres some plot for ya

the WHAT

Attached: 1575599424381.gif (500x375, 657K)

Yeah that was the most interesting to watch. If he’s supposed to be “the shape” why does he keep coming back to the same town anyways? Journos getting btfo in a slasher is something I haven’t seen before but we’ve seen him go back to Haddonfield and target Laurie strode or her family a bunch

Read the cast

Attached: VgbPc.jpg (704x304, 112K)

too convoluted. Her daughter being a chipper housewife with some SHTF training made the most sense, but the film had no direction, If they were paying homage to the original films they were making quips like a marvel movie or wasting time on the daughter/granddaughter. Have some of those retarded/drugged patients get some of that screen time to show they werent all barely capable of wiping their own ass and it would have worked. The film jupmed around way too much IMO and pulled most of the plot out of its ass

I just hope they cut the comedy out for Halloween Kills. It really killed the moody and reached almost satire level. Which is sad because it had some great scenes and Carpenter’s score was someone of his best

yea the music from 2018 was fucking great

What about the really old dad talking to his son that wanted to be a dancer?

That’s what worked so well for the original right? I couldn’t wait for her to be slaughtered. Idiot.

that was anti-gay subliminal shit for sure. dad subconsciously wanted his son killed and it happened.

I wouldn’t say miscast. Judy Greer is always great but she was very underutilized in this.

it's good and has a great soundtrack. My only issue is that all of the kills are boring and uninteresting. The only one I like is the bathroom kill they stole from that other Halloween movie.

I guess I just wish we saw more of that "flipped switch" side of her, more than just that one scene where she grabs the sniper. I imagine her putting on a tactical vest, tucking a glock in the back of her jeans, racking a shotgun, and getting ready to totally fuck shit up. I mean....her mom is Lorie fucking Strode.

Best track Carpenter has composed in decades:
youtube.com/watch?v=m8H3M0DDWDs

going to listen to this on the way to work tomorrow at full blast. i hate my co workers

The movie would've been improved a ten fold if Laurie had been the reason the bus crashed in the beginning. Like she was trying to kill Michael and botched it so hard he escapes.

I have a feeling that's what they were going for originally and it got changed in a rewrite.

knew what this was gonna be before i opened it. good shit. last year i listened to this on loop while i studied for a test while completely plastered. (ended up passing lmao)

He’s Evil incarnate.

A reference to “legacy of a whitetail deer hunter” the previous movie written by Mcbride and Green and directed by Green. The father in that movie wants to get his son into hunting but he’s a turbo zoomer

Lmao

It’s all in your head

it's got that creepy government emergency alarm vibe. reminds me of these vids

youtube.com/watch?v=3c66w6fVqOI

It at least felt natural. I hate fagmo shit too, but the reality is that we have to deal with it and it wasn't like the son was wearing makeup and talked with a ridiculous lisp. Movies probably won't be made anymore without SOME reference to fag behavior.

it's all in your hands*
dumbass zoomer

this some kind of 9/11 predictive programming? i see the twins

Why are michael myers threads so chill bros? Up there with LOTR threads

It was really underused, unfortunately.

Honestly the scene itself was fine. It’s just always amusing to me when movies cast 60 year old actors to play the parent of a 12 year old. I don’t know why they didn’t just make that guy his grandfather instead.

Attached: halloween_hed.jpg (1417x942, 173K)

Halloween 6 is a good movie and has one of the best looking Michael. Fight me.

Laurie never stops looking at him when he disappears in this scene. How does he do it?

Glad I'm not the only one that likes this mask.

Why is he so smug bros?

Yeah they finally got a good mask after the total garbage in 4 and 5. You have to give them credit for at least attempting to pay off the thorn cult story arc.

what happened bros?

Attached: yikes.png (936x442, 227K)

What?

6% is the worst grade i've ever seen given to a movie. i never saw it. why is it hated

It’s a total mess of a movie. They did an extensive reshoots IIRC and even then the ending is a jumbled mess regardless of which version you watch.

sounds like you're just a bitch

>hearing this for the first time
>sounds decent, but pretty tame for Carpenter
>mfw 0:21

Attached: 1345806057004.jpg (543x768, 274K)

idk but imagine being parked in your car at a slow gas station off a highway, facing a wall/fence, look in your rear-view and see that shit

reincarnation of an ancient celtic demon
ignore the retards who pretend the old sequels aren't canon lore-wise

what do you think the odds are somebody eventually makes another movie about Dracula or Frankenstein?
they will never stop making Halloween sequels, people will always want them
>and that's a good thing

I thought it was decent but the ending was really fucking dumb.

you're not supposed to see his face even though you it twice in the original , you're supposed to think of him as not being human, which is why so many fans hated the Rob Zombie movies so much, since they focus on his backstory and develop a personality for him

and the fact that there was no suspense like in the original

this autism? embarrassing

I want her yogurt shits in my mouth.

Halloween 3 is the best.

Good looking Michael but low tier Halloween kino

I want to see how tits out and about. I hope she takes the dive and let's em loose before she bites it.

>Shows granddaughter her basement armory.
>Large caliber revolvers
>Assault shotgun
>A freaking SPAS-12 semi automatic shotgun

>when Mike invades her house she chooses to use a bolt action hunting rifle.
>gets her ass beat as that rifle is in no way suited to CQB engagements.

Movie made me ANGRY.

Didn't one of the scary movies parody this by making her pick a banana

Some one should shop it with a KFC bucket

yeah the first one, pure kino

So you just hate male teenagers.

Not sure but I haven't seen the originals, just the most recent one,

Really?

Because she was only familiar with that exact gun, and had no real experience with the others.

>showing hes just a monster and she was unlucky that night, he doesnt give a fuck about her and there is no deeper meaning to it

I don't think you get the connection between the Shape, Halloween, the thinning of barrier of the supernatural world, ritual re-creation, Samhain in the Celtic calendar, cycles and all that.

>reincarnation of an ancient celtic demon
>ignore the retards who pretend the old sequels aren't canon lore-wise

The only problem is that the films try to explain it way too much.

why are checkerboard patterns so kino

Evil Celtic runes.
