It’s a shame that people have such a gut reaction to this run. It really doesn’t come across as even nearly as SJW-y as the last 5 or 6 years of comics. I’ve pretty much enjoyed every plot in every single one of these new runs with the exception of Fallen Angels, which was total shit. Krakoa is a really good mix of being the perfect end goal for all mutants and being a scary threatening concept that will clearly start wars.

Have you read any of it? Literally everything you’re saying is talked about. It’s not that literally every mutant is working together, but all the important ones that are likely to betray them were convinced of its effectiveness ahead of time. The island produces plants that can’t be found anywhere else that can be used to cure multiple illnesses, which is what was used to strongarm the UN into recognising them as a nation. This is also why people aren’t nuking them. And on top of that, Krakoa has a way of reviving literally any mutant who dies.
