X1 and 2 weren't that great at all. The first one's plot was fucking stupid, the second one had a better plot but it was still a lot of early 2000s nonsense tried to be layered with gritty nonsense.
What made them better than the rest was how well the casting was, as there was definite care done with that. Some of the scenes were cool, but you can say the same for most of them.
I call them all various levels of mediocre because they're largely forgettable.
