For me it's edibles, if I smoke I get too anxious. Of course, really it's booze but I realized I was drinking too much, and as someone pointed out already weed is easier on the system.

I eat very, very low doses - generally 2.5 or 5mg (normal 'dosage' from dispensaries is like 10mg for a single dose, but I've seen ones that are exponentially stronger than that). I find that, apart from the high lasting longer and being less intense, it's more of a relaxed body buzz than a cerebral high. Also, and I'm sure you've heard this before, they can take several hours to kick in so be careful about taking more if you're unsure of your tolerance.

Oh, I don't really do it specifically for movies, more to unwind at the end of the day. As I said alcohol is my preferred drug, but I feel the hangovers much more as I get older.

I've tried up to 400 mg edibles, with higher dosages your mind also gets blown eventually after the onset, so much that you can't keep up and you eventually shut down and drift off to sleep
