Does anyone else wanted the idea futher explored of Pre-FP Booster Gold becoming post-Convergance Waverider? Feel it fits the whole "Time Master" family tree going for Michael around that time. Then we can get weird scifi/timetravel stories with Waverider/Jamie Beetle.

I'm just sad that his character development he got from 52 all the way through to Convergence is just disregarded/thrown out and he regressed to his old JLI days in Blue & Gold. Did Jurgens just do that because its an easier jumping on point for the character? But knowing him from how he writes his stories, he probably treats B&G/Infinite Frontier Booster as a continuation of Nu52 Booster instead of New Earth Booster Gold.

It’s kind of weird like when he wrote Booster in his Rebirth Action Comics run he seemed very much like PreNu52 booster even going so far as to chastise Superman for even attempting to travel back to before krypton exploded. It was only after King wrote him where he was written as the idiot with a time machine that he was effectively reverted back to his Bwa Ha Ha era attitude

Rani was created by DeMattis & Giffen when they were writing Booster Gold, her appearing in their last story arc on the book. Jurgens re-picked up writing duties on the book afterwards, basically dropped everything beforehand because his arc was a Flashpoint tie-in. Then the book was canned.

Because of the extent of Infinite Frontiers hyper-crisis nature of "everything is canon or remembered"; it just takes one writer to clear something like this up. Example Mr. Bones fluctuating between his Pre-COIE/Earth 2 Infinity Inc. version and secret agent modern version.
TL;DR
Its up to a book's writer what lore they want to reference in their run with the current continuity state in DC.

Unlike some writers Jurgens picks up plot lines from other writers even to his detriment. My fan theory is that at one point she gets lost in time, gets aged up, and finds herself in the time right before Booster comes to our time so she takes the identity of Trixie his assistant from his original run

It looks like Jurgens is setting up Trixie as Rip's mother. Then DeMattis and Griffen did have Rani point out that Rip Hunter looks like her biological grandfather. Reminder that when Booster saved her in 31st century, she was living with foster parents because he real ones were dead (my headcanon: killed by Time Stealers). It would be too weird/incestuous to have Trixie and Rani be the same person.

Always thought that depiction was because with time travel talks, "moving faster than light" is usually used. And light breaks down into the color spectrum aka a rainbow. That's just me user, nothing to back it up with.

She was randomly pushing people and objects together to pair them up, in a bid to look more high class. The team crashed a ball at Wayne Manor and Robin said they weren't classy enough to do rich people stuff like matchmake and so on. The whole show had a vaguely racist bent to it so I only watched select episodes.
