I've watched this scene multiple times now and it just doesn't get any clearer, even with the knowledge of what's supposed to be happening in it. The lyrics of Elsa calling out to someone don't fit the reveal at the end that there's no one there, she just starts doing random things with her magic (I don't mean her clearing her path, but turning the Spirit holograms into a giant snowflake pedestal and then swirling the snow around at the end), Elsa's just sobbing for joy out of nowhere (sure, it's nice to see Iduna's face again, but holy shit), and the grand "Luke, I am your father"-level reveal of Elsa's true purpose is snuck in almost as if they didn't even want people to actually catch it. Show Yourself is a great song, but the sequence itself is such shit I can't believe they didn't look at it and realize it needed further work.

The deleted scene that I felt held the most value was the original plot device for the frozen ice crystals after Into The Unknown. Turns out Elsa's dreams can manifest into snow and ice, which Anna witnessed. She saw Elsa's dream of Iduna, the spirits, and a bit of the battle against the Arendellian and Northuldra people. The dream then caused Elsa to her use powers to freeze the rain outside into those ice crystals (which weren't fully developed yet).
Aside from the songs the only other scene that I liked may have been the hidden room scene, but the rest of the scenes felt like leftovers from when the movie was in very early stages of development. The Stag Man, Kristoff's encounter with the Nokk, and whatever else all felt very out of touch with the final product. Part of the deleted Nokk scene had a lot to do with the fact Kristoff and Anna were engaged at the beginning of the movie.

Hey everyone, my names user and I watched Frozen II twice in the cinema and about 5 times at home.
Whenver I watch the whole movie in one go I unironically cry during show yourself and the next right thing. Also at the ending. I pretty much cry like a bitch whenever somebody on screen cries.
The first 15 Minutes are amazing and I can't help but smile like a retard when I see Loli Elsa and Anna, Elsa freezing her hands to the balcony and her playing charades. The contoversal cuddle scene, Sassy Elsa... It's great.
Everything else after that sucks though. Annas personality turns into "I'm overly protective of Elsa". Worst part is them leaving Kristoff behind for no good reason and finding the ship.
The part where Olaf recaps everything that happend so far is hilarious though.

That's the thing. I'm honestly torn on Frozen II. I was honestly enjoying the movie for most of the run time - It wasn't perfect, but I was liking it well enough. Then, instead of Lost In The Woods leading into a B-plot for Kristoff, it just wrote him out of the movie entirely. Alright, fine, that's stupid, but whatever. Then the first major strike was Elsa sending Anna away in the ice boat. That pissed me off, as this was supposed to be the "Elsa and Anna together" movie, since the first Frozen was already the "Elsa and Anna apart" movie. I was about as mad as Anna and Olaf were as they floated down the river. Then Show Yourself happened and it was completely nonsensical and incoherent, despite the movie insisting that everything was amazing because, look, Elsa's crying from happiness! Admittedly, the Elsa discovers the truth/Olaf's death/The Next Right Thing trio was great, but it didn't make up for what happened before, nor could it save the rest of the movie from that horrible, nonsensical ending, which just separates the sisters for literally no reason except some sort of "sometimes loved ones move away" life lesson that no one goes to see Disney movies for, not to mention it was the third Disney film in a row to pull that shit.
It was almost like Frozen II saw that I was enjoying it, so to make sure that stopped, it proceeded to shit on my head.

As I said before inKristoff originally proposed to Anna at the beginning of the movie, and during the scene with the Nokk he reveals to Anna that he doesn't like the idea of being a fancy lord in Arendelle which kinda crushes Anna, and she says they should call off the engagement for now. Still could have had Lost In The Woods in there, but I think it would've been better than Kristoff acting like a nervous wreck the whole time, plus the duet with Anna and Kristoff would be included too.
As for the scene where Elsa pushes Anna and Olaf away, I have to say I kinda expected that and hoped it would happen in a way. I wanted the movie to be an adventure shared by the sister's, but I also knew at one point they're probably going to be split up, and Elsa didn't want anyone to go with her in the first place. Kinda wish Elsa stayed as Queen though.

Anna approached Elsa calm and civilly. Also, Elsa tends to freak out at the drop of a hat, so when would have been a good time to drop "you blizzarded the entire kingdom" on her? Also also, there wasn't time to wait for Elsa to work her way through another of her melodramatic freak outs - there was a blizzard-pocalypse going on where people were potentially freezing to death and/or losing their crops.
Also I don't quite understand what you're going for with the servants comment. If you're going to try and paint Anna in a bad light at least go with something that makes sense.

ALSO also also, even as Elsa was freaking herself out, Anna remained calm and supportive, telling Elsa that everything would be okay and that she was there for her, that Elsa wouldn't have to deal with the situation alone, trying to get Elsa to focus and calm down. Honestly, given the situation, Anna really couldn't have handled things better. It's not her fault Elsa is a spaz who flings ice lasers around all willy-nilly.
