Yes, but this is comics, death is barely an inconvenience. Maybe the Jackal brought her back during the Clone Conspiracy. Maybe the Cult of Carnage/Knull brought her back. Maybe it turns out Eddie only thought that he killed her, but she actually survived. Maybe Eddie only killed Donna, and now the Scream symbiote has bonded with someone else.

I fear that Mania is next, we're getting a Web of Venom: Funeral Pyre one-shot starring her coming soon.

I assume the symbiote survived and found a new host...and both are going to get eaten by Carnage.

That was while Flash Thomspon was still Venom and 90s nostalgia wasn't yet the name of the game. Remender said that he was forced to do kill Scream and Hybrid by editorial because they felt that there were too many symbiotes. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

I don't even understand why that would have killed her. All he did was rip out a chunk of her spine. Don't get me wrong, that will fuck a person up, but she was already fucking suited and that's not immediately fatal. I'm 90% certain the symbiote could fill in for the missing chunk of spine while it's attached. She's probably never taking it off that part of her body again, but she should have survived. Also, you see that the symbiote doesn't leave her when she goes down, which symbiotes do when their hosts die...but I'll chalk that up to the writer not knowing the first thing about symbiotes.

I think, despite the premise, that Absolute Carnage is going to end with all the Symbiote Users resurrected/regenerated as a reaction to Knull's awakening.

I'm not mad about killing Scorn, I'm mad about her being completely OOC, they could have at least had a throaway line about how she was possessed by Knull or something.

So when do they fight Knull? As part of a Venom/GotG crossover?

I'm sure at least Ben will show up since the Carnage symbiote bonded to him in the 90s, but I'm worried that he'll die right after he finally got fixed.

Yeah, probably. Would give time for Eddie to deal with the aftermath for a bit while Knull goes Annhilation-waving civilizations on his way to Earth.

Honestly though, when has the Green Goblin been part of the Sinister Six without taking the reigns from Octavius? Plus this was hot on the heels of the 90's cartoon, Hobgoblin was very popular and Sandman was a no-show, plus Hydro-Man probably was easier to implement for the special effects of the ride.

So there appears to be no GotG tie-in. So will Wraith show up in this story anyway, or does Cates have future plans for Knull beyond this story?

The emphasis on calling her Venom's daughter feels like that's the direction her oneshot is going to go.

Agreed, Knull is a complete travesty. Although fixing him is easy, just tie him to Oblivion and make a proper origin retell instead of whatever bullshit Venom #5 was.

Scream has noticeable boobs on the cover, while Andi is kind of on the flat side.

Banner's forgotten implied daughter once manifested some kind of short-lived clone of the Venom symbiote during a fight with Gargan.

This event is going to be the opposite of the symbiote cullings of the past. Their plan is to bring them all back and then put focus on whichever end up being included in Venom 2 or 3.

Also, it will suck like the last few symbiote crossovers. And this is coming from a Cates fan. There are no good Marvel events.

The Venom Symbiote already got Flash's Codex. Though I wouldn't cross out the possibility of Knull using Flash as a conduit in the future.

This page right here, from the very get-go, is complete nonsense that doesn't line up with the known origins of the Marvel Universe. This guy was there before the Celestials, for some reason, and he's like the "god of the Void", which absolutely ignores and outright contradicts Oblivion's existence.

But not just that... The guy is clearly inferior to a Celestial, yet uses one of them (somehow) to overthrow and decapitate it, so it's not altogether clear whether he's an actual God or what, but he's already powerful enough to deal with a Celestial with ease and mold it to his will.
So in the end he's a complete contradiction, someone who doesn't line up with anything, UNLESS he's established as some kind of avatar or spawn of Oblivion, basically fixing some things but not all of them. As it stands, he's presented as something ridiculous.

This sounds more like a God from a regional folk tale compared to Knull, who's presented as THE god of the Void. Recently, in Avengers: No Road Home, Nyx was presented as the Goddess of Night and she had a similar role, but operating from the Greek Pantheon. I can buy it if it was something related to a specific belief, but not from an alien, agnostic being such as that one... Specially not when the origins state he was there "before the Celestials".
