This writing seems much soo weaker than the original. It's full of redundancies like adding "Again, I do not wish to harm you" to "Your eyes are bleeding... I am sorry." Twice as unnecessary for a character that should lean on terse and mysterious.
This writing seems more appropriate for a robot girl that leans on giving too much information and like she learned stilted English from being fed books.
