A powergirl film just wouldn't work, I'm sorry but it's just the truth

I'd pay $20 for 15 seconds of bullets causing her tits to bounce around in slow motion
You know the second SJWs become old fashioned they'll make this for mad money

Why would you think that?

Larkin Love and Siri in her prime could've done it.

i'm assuming the whole "girl with a gaping hole in her costume" more than "somebody from an alternate earth" or even "she had her time as supergirl but then decided to carve out her own name"

Stop watching porn

That's what they said about Aquaman, it won't "work"

Power Girl doesn't work in her native medium. And no, it's not because she's a parallel version of Supergirl. The problem is that Karen is an obnoxious bitch, and not a fun bitch like Captain Marvel(when Marvel allows Carol to be herself anyway).

She's got all this baggage about self actualization, but instead of actually dealing with it, she takes it out on others because it's easier than admitting that she's just an asshole. One gets the impression that she's only a superhero only because she sees it as an obligation rather than genuinely caring about justice and whatnot.

Karen Starr wouldn't work in a movie because she's a poorly designed heroine who doesn't have a good hook. Maybe once some writer comes along and has her get her shit together, then she can be feature material.

It should be Power Girl + Huntress.
That or include her in the JSA.

Are you sure you're talking about Karen and not Carol?
Because I'm pretty sure you're talking about Carol.

>This is your brain on Disneyfaggotry

Porn stars can't act.

You're right, that does apply to both of them. But Carol is actually funny at times, while Karen is just a pain in the ass. If she'd just get the fuck over herself and own it instead of angsting all the time about "A bloo hoo, I don't know who I am, waaaaaa!", then there wouldn't be any real problem.

Don't you even start with that fake ass company war shit.

And most of the cast in these capeflicks can?

Yeah, by replacing him with the average woman's wet dream. You can't make Karen palatable for the masses without ruining everything that makes her fun, thus making sure she appeals to no one.

>Yet another shitflinger who didn't read the Gray/Palmiotti/Conner run.

There was a live-action Cybersix show.

That's what Peej was like before Amanda Conner.

>literally one run where she's a real character
Not good enough. Also, artists are not writers, so fuck that.

you must've gotten confused somewhere down the line and switched up the two names

???
She was a "real" character throughout all her JSA appearances, her backup feature she shared with Huntress, her Justice League membership, in Infinite Crisis and in JSA Classified. She's usually a supporting character or member of an ensemble rather than a lead, but lots of fan favorites are, too.
She's cranky and insecure, she feels lost in the world, she wants to be loved but she pushes people away. That's her character.

Any of the extended Kryptonians would go over well, if Superman's franchise were healthier to begin with.

As opposed to Carol Danvers' zero runs where she has a real character?

Being an alcoholic who gets raped by her son so she can give birth to him is real character

No, no it isnt.

>Karen Starr wouldn't work in a movie because she's a poorly designed heroine who doesn't have a good hook.
Captain Marvel's success proves this is not a disqualifier.

I always saw her as a contrast to Supergirl. Supergirl is slim with long hair while Peeg is buxom with short hair. Supergirl is the neat immature innocent girl while Peeg is the surly slovenly college grad. Even their cats reflect this with Streaky being a clean lovable kitty while Stinky is a vile violent terror.

Not without significant rewrites. Although someone having to sit down and come up with a plausible origin divorced from decades of continuity fuckery could do a world of good for the character.

14 year old prostitute Laura

She gave good head.

She is the best there is at what she does and what she does can feel very nice.

Its not illegal if her healing factor keeps her young.

Also I volunteer myself as a client who pays for bareback.

Power Girl would translate well to film if handled properly.
A lot of the comic characters were significantly re-written for the movies.

The easiest way to retool Karen for a movie would to introduce her as a fully grown Super Girl or a former sidekick of Superman who wants to be taken seriously as a hero.

Movie plot- While Superman is off planet or missing, Karen protects Metropolis in his place. The public is skeptical of Power Girl because she had a falling out with Superman a few years ago or because they assume she's a bimbo/ incompetent. While dealing with a skeptical public, Karen tries to find out what happened to Superman and works with his current sidekick(Kara or Kon). Eventually, Karen would find out that Superman was captured by Brainiac and lead a rescue mission to save him. Final fight would be Power Girl, Superman and Super Boy vs Brainiac. Movie ends with Karen getting reconciled with Superman and being accepted as a hero.

Livewire and Silver Banshee are recurring threats throughout the movie. Mid boss fight would be Power Girl and Kon/Kara vs them.

Karen and Kara would be an interesting dynamic. However, Karen being the former Supergirl who had a falling out with Superman bypasses the more confusing parts of her backstory. Karen and Kon interacting would probably be funny.
