Harold Teen storytime

Today marks the 100th anniversary of Carl Ed's "Harold Teen", one of the first (if not THE first) comic strips with a teenage protagonist. It ran from 1919 to 1959, the year of the creator's death (the last month of the strip ran posthumously). There were two live-action film adaptations and a radio show, but to my knowledge, no animation adaptation was ever attempted.
