MARVEL'S DISNEY+ SERIES

Expectations?

According to recent leaks...

>Loki
Anthology with each episode detailing how Loki influenced a key historical event.

>Hawkeye
Hawkeye has to come out of retirement (again) when troublemaker Kate Bishop begins running around claiming to be the new Hawkeye and gets into trouble with the organized crime. Ends up training her to take his place. Supernatural mobster The Hood and Hawkeye's evil brother Trickshot might appear.

>Falcon & Winter Soldier
Falcon and Bucky have to work together with a new government-sanctioned Captain America to stop terrorists from destroying the United Nations. New Cap eventually goes psycho and they have to stop him. Seems like it'll lead to Sam becoming the new Cap after all.

>Wanda & Vision
Vision gets rebuild, Wanda tries to give him a soul and he instead gets possessed by a dark force. Allegedly it's more of a psychological thriller with a 1950's aesthetic. Wanda and Vision end up living in the suburbs where the neighborhood is racist against Wanda's robosexuality. The witch Agatha Harkness might appear.

Falcon/Winter Soldier sounds the best.

In terms of hype:

>Falcon & Winter Soldier
>Hawkeye
>Wanda & Vision
>Loki

Loki just seems kinda meh. If Wanda and Vision introduces elements from THe Visions like Viv then I can bump it up a bit.

I bet Hawkeye will take a lot of inspiration from Fraction's run, especially his relationship with Kate, Barney and I hope we get Pizza Dog on the show

and WandaVision will be basically Tom King's Vision but withWanda instead of his psycho robot wife. I just don't like this "dark vision" thing, I was hoping that she is the one who starts to go mentally instable after Visions death, and creates this alternate reality where they're a family. It could also introduce their children, Wiccan and Speed, who will later join the Young Avengers with Kate on an exclusive Disney+ show

>Loki
Sounds boring
>Hawkeye
Just let Clint enjoy his family in peace
>Falcon and Winter Soldier
Sounds cool
>Wanda & Vision
This sounds fucking retarded. Why would someone try and rebuild Vision?

they should do the visions as a creepy thriller tv show

>This sounds fucking retarded. Why would someone try and rebuild Vision?
Because Wanda is nuts?

Even without the US Agent roumors, i'm the most hyped about Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
I just think the two characters work perfectly together.

But i think in terms of surprises, Loki might be the one with more of it, in terms of weird stuff happening.

>Why would someone try and rebuild Vision?
because he saved the world at least once and it is worth to try?

NOBODY CARES

Because he's a god damn hero you mouthbreather

Get this part out of the way now so they can set up a Young Avengers movie.

They already have Cassie. They can set up Kate.
Hulkling is easy but he'd be a little too old if Mar-Vell needs to be his mom. Maybe Skrulls and Kree age slower than humans?
Wiccan and Speed don't really work unless they work it into WandaViz. Or they use Vivian instead.
They probably won't do Eli, he hasn't shown up in the comics in ages. Is that because they're afraid of the backlash or is there a legal issue?

I'm mostly worried about budget and allocation of talent. If this shit starts looking or sounding like Netflix fare it's going to really detract from what they're trying to do and the MCU as a whole. I can't imagine these actors are cheap, which worries me about the rest of it.

What if Loki is responsible for the Holocaust?

>Wiccan and Speed don't really work unless they work it into WandaViz.

They won't make a Young Avengers without Wiccan. He's lietarlly half of Marvel's prime gay couple. They won't pass the chance of introducing a gay superhero couple in the MCU.

We don't really nedd Speed, but Wiccan will probably be "created" in the WandaVision series

Source?

Really interested in WandaVision, has a lot going on and has potential to be genuine kino.
The rest are okay I guess, could be fun

For sure
Honestly, if Whedon hadn't decided to do his whole thing with Clint, we could have had a full on Fraction Hawkeye in the MCU.

fpbp

at the start of Endgame I was hoping Lucky would show up and comfort Clint

Will Wanda somehow have her half-gay twins? I hope so, I like Young Avengers.

But the Holocaust never happened.

>god of mischief and illusions is behind the biggest hoax in human history
Sounds right up his alley.

>They probably won't do Eli, he hasn't shown up in the comics in ages. Is that because they're afraid of the backlash or is there a legal issue?

Legal issue.

I hope he fucks Kate!

But she isn't in the movies; she doesn't have much personality at all post-Civil War.
Vision was very powerful before he got wounded in Infinity War and can fly, shoot laser beams, and alter his density at will. That's a pretty powerful if the Feds are looking to control him, which based on the Fed-sponsored Captain America, is probably going to happen. The 1950s aesthetic is kind of weird though unless that's Wanda fucking up. A modern day suburb would be much more accepting of robosexuals.

I'm most hyped for WandaVision; hopefully they bring in actual 'magic' to the universe. Falcon and Winter Soldier sounds like it could be really great if it has a similar tone to the Winter Soldier but I'm worried that some of the story elements might pull and Iron Man 3 instead. Hawkeye could go either way honestly, it reads like it could be like Daredevil with the whole mobster aspect. Loki might be carried by Tom, but it could be a fun little one-off.

>and Hawkeye's evil brother

That sounds like right out of a mexican soap opera. Then again, maybe something so ridiculous is needed to make a solo Hawkeye series interesting.

Wanda and Vision sounds the most interesting, and with the most potential to be great. it also has the most potential to be terrible.
Falcon & Winter Soldier and Hawkeye sound like your run of the mill action series, typical stuff.
Loki has potential, I guess, it's too vague to get what it's really going to do.

The 50s thing is about the tone for fucks sake. It's a consistent thing in all the Scarlet Witch and Vision series, they try to live a calm suburban life and superhero shit happens to them

hahahaha !!! based !!!! ahahahahahahahahaha basedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbasedbased

>adaptation of Meet the Visions
I'm in
My only concern about any of these series' is that Kate might be written to be an insufferable piece of shit

(You) sure cared enough to post here.

I saw Endgame last night and actually took in the Ronin introduction scene, and seeing it mostly done in one take reminded me of Daredevil to secretly hoping that maybe Bullseye would possibly end up in Hawkeye's series.

I can't believe they had the guts to show Loki doing 9/11.

The bit about the government sanctioned Cap is giving me some serious hope that we'll get some decent fucking political commentary that's been missing since Winter Soldier.

I bet Ross is behind the sanctioned Captain America.

>Allegedly it's more of a psychological thriller with a 1950's aesthetic. Wanda and Vision end up living in the suburbs where the neighborhood is racist against Wanda's robosexuality.

They are fucking up Kings Vision. I hate it.

I'd rather they just did King's Vision

> hopefully they bring in actual 'magic' to the universe
What is “actual magic”?

King didn't invent that idea. That goes back to the various Scarlet Witch/Vision books that were popular in the 80s before Byrne destroyed the marriage.

>hopefully they bring in actual 'magic' to the universe
They already did. You don't know what magic is so you didn't notice.

>Wanda and Vision end up living in the suburbs where the neighborhood is racist against Wanda's robosexuality.
Does anybody want this?

I hope we see more of Vision wearing sweaters

I worded it wrong, but I meant potentially having Wanda use actual magic instead of telekinetic energy.

All of these sound terrible but Loki's because it will be short and there won't be one about the Third Reich.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier sounds like it will be drawing from either the 50's psycho Captain America or the John Walker character who goes on to become US Agent in the 80's. Either way it sounds interesting.

But what about the old Marvel shows? Are they truly dead?

Ghost Rider from AoS is getting a Hulu show, as is Damien Hellstrom.

>Falcon and Bucky have to work together with a new government-sanctioned Captain America
Wait, what? Nuke, US Agent? Who is it?

Attached: 1460156931184.gif (331x197, 1.72M)

So the hopes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Punisher, are all fucked then? No survivors?

Probably USAgent, since Nuke is in the Netflix shows.

I'd assume US Agent, since Nuke was already burned on Jessica Jones.

Per their deal with Netflix, apparently Marvel can't do anything with them for 2 years. By which point, Marvel and the actors will probably have just moved on.

If it's Nuke, it may be their first chance to show that the Netflix shows aren't canon

>New Cap (Sam) becomes crazy so Sam and Bucky has to stop it
Wut?

New Cap is the government one, not Sam.

I really want John Walker.
But I also want him not to be a villain, just an anti-hero that is unfit to be the Cap.

>Per their deal with Netflix, apparently Marvel can't do anything with them for 2 years.
For real? For what purpose?
What does Netflix win from this? Why not just sell the rights?
Though I guess they might not want to strengthen the competition even if they were to get paid for it. Still though.

Technically, they never called the guy Nuke in the JJ show. Simpson had the pills, yes, but he could have been just part of the same program. You don't mass produce pills like that for just one guy.

So you can say that Simpson was a washout of the program, while the guy Bucky/Sam are dealing with is the 'real' Nuke.

Pretty sure that's it, non-competition notes in contracts are a real common thing.

Kate Bishop is going to be black or half latina, isn't she

>Loki is the one who led Red Skull to the Tesseract

Could be kino.

Attached: Full Circle.jpg (1000x618, 263K)

Loki Gump sounds retarded enough it could be fun

But these shows are actually going to be produced by Marvel Studios, right?
I think we're not dealing with Loeb's shitty Marvel TV division this time around.

I’d like him to be a villain so he can be the leader of Thunderbolts later and can be used again in Dark Reign as the replacement Cap.

Can’t wait for the porn

Thought she was half Asian

>Wandavision
It'll be Bewitched but Darren is a robot.

Attached: images (1).jpg (290x174, 11K)

Loki sound like it may end up being fun, but Falcon and WS sounds the best so far. Hawkeye could be cool if they let Renner do his thing. Wanda and Vision could be really interesting, especially if they pull from King's Vision run. I love psych thrillers. I wonder if we're getting any of Vision's or Wanda's kids

The Netflix characters are on embargo for like 2 years. Ghost Rider is getting a Hulu show, and Runaways got renewed for a third season. I'm sure Cloak and Dagger will get a third season, too. It definitely deserves one.

not even close

> We're getting mystical chaos magic Wanda.

Based Kevin Feige.

(You) also cared enough to respond to my lowly Marvelfag post.

>This sounds fucking retarded. Why would someone try and rebuild Vision?

so he can go on to save the world 35 more times

also go read Vision (2015), it was great
