And lets admire the sales of Bendis helmed Comics

SUPERMAN #9 48,919

ACTION COMICS #1009 43,014

YOUNG JUSTICE #333,683

To put it in to perspective, here's:

CATWOMAN #9 43,952

TEEN TITANS #28 27,405

Congratulations to Superman fans, Catwoman is now the biggest competition and YJ should be cancelled out of shame, TT in its 28th issue is barely behind YJ in its third issue. DC execs actually want to give Bendis even more books? what weed are they smoking and where can I have some.

>YOUNG JUSTICE #333,683
I know Bendis writes decompressed stories quickly, but to reach this number that quickly shouldn't be healthy.

The failure of Wonder Comics was expected but still disappointing. All of the series will probably get enough issues to fill out 1-2 trades, IF they’re lucky at this point.

WHEN IS HE LEAVING?

Even Catwoman is outselling Action Comics?

>Wonder Comics
Weren't those minis?

DC saw Bendis failing at Marvel and decided yes let's do that.

In about 20 years. What, don't tell me being bad at his job would get him demoted or fired. You ignorant slut, you can survive in the comics industry for decades if you're friendly and meet your deadlines. Quality is just a bonus.

Those Bendis is coming ads were warnings, not promotionals.

Prove me wrong.

It's supposed to be a reference to the "Kirby is coming" ads

When will he fucking kill himself?

Probably, but at least Kirby didn't make people want to jump of a cliff.

I used to work as an intern at DC. There's a rumor that Bendis and KSD have "connections". Supposedly this is why they get their way 100% of the time despite their mediocre (or in KSD's case, terrible) sales.

God knows what kind of deal DC gave Bendis, but clearly they're gonna milk him for all he's worth (which isn't much).

Shit, really? Dial H certainly feels like a mini series, same goes for Wonder Twins, but YJ feels like it was supposed to be the long running flagship title, with character spinoffs and expanding its own particular corner of the universe. I thought for sure there was gonna be a Amethyst and Jinny Hex series released under the Wonder Comics banner.

>trying to suggest bendis is on par with kirby

As long as Batcat survives, Catwoman will continue to be a high selling series.

All KSD has to do is scream misogyny to get what she wants. She's a total cunt.

Dial H is a mini, but Wonder Twins and Young Justice are ongoings. And Naomi is also a mini, but it will get a "season 2" next year (because Bendis is writing it).

@107330838
Bendis created Miles Morales, the biggest and most groundbreaking character since Kirby so ...

It's not surprising Bendis has connections, he's been a high profile writer in a small pond for a long time, irregardless of quality.

Tomasifags are really butthurt

Go n@ yourself some higher-tier bait, mate.

underrated post, also
Checked

You gotta admire that subtle reference to Kirby the videogame character instead of the writer, though.

That's literally been the game plan of guys like DiDio.

True. The reference initially went over my head because I don't play many video games anymore.

Hard core comic books don't necessarily like these kinds of books, it's the same as DC YOU (and the innumerable attempts Marble has done and continues to do to ape those kinds of books (and frankly, what Archie was trying to do with their non-horror revamps). The only people really pulling it off are essentially Boom and that's for a relative value of what is essential success for Boom (which would be suicidal losses for DC or Marble).

Dial H might make it to two trades, or even three, the way Gotham Academy did, but the only way Young Justice will survive is getting Baldy off the book.

It doesn't surprises me that YJ had that much of a drop so soon, it is a niche team and it doesn't help that the book is shit.

But to think that he managed to make Superman drop to Catwoman's level, ugh.
Those are basically cancellation numbers if it wasn't for the books being called "Action Comics" and "Superman".

It's a reference to a major, primarily Marvel comics associated creator coming over to DC, sperg. They did the same thing with JRJR.

>Those are basically cancellation numbers

It's nowhere near cancellation numbers.

>nowhere near
wrong.

wrong.

>Tomasifags are really butthurt
Stephanie Brownfag still sucks Bendis balls.

>SUPERMAN #9 48,919

HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Yeah, that guy is wrong.
Must be a Bendis shill.

Those figures aren't good, lol.

At least Lois is lucky not to be written by Bendis anymore because from what I've been hearing, he hasn't exactly been treating her well. Could be interesting.

I don't like any of Batman's sidekicks besides Babs

Can't wait for Bendis' Superman to manage to get outsold by TT.

o I was just wondering, how many books is Bendis writing/planning to write over the next few months?

He's got Superman, Young Justice, Action, Walmart Batman, Naomi(as co writer), Detective 1000 short story, is teasing Legion & Batman Beyond and has like what? 3 or 4 creator owned books? is this joker really planning on pushing a dozen books?

tick, tock, tick, tock. DC, you're running out of time, don't you see it.

Man, all this hype, and for what! The villains and cast are still bland lmao.

>is this joker really planning on pushing a dozen books?
Yes, he'll just write two extremely long, wordy scenes per book. Imagine, a ball dropping taking up two whole pages. Restaurant discussions about food being the centre of an issue. A chase scene making up the whole of a single trade. We truly have reached the pyrite age.

He tried to do the very same thing at Marvel. The guy wants his fingers in every pie there is, and doesn't realize both how insane and impractical that is.

*Per issue.

No Wonder Twins is also a mini, which is unfortunate because it seems Russel is never getting a long running series again

I like Jenny, Amethyst and Impulse

The rest of the YJ characters is just not that interesting

Tim might be your favorite Robin, but you gotta admit must people don't care for him that much

when Didio will.

DC are to caught up with trying to get marvel talent it's actually hilarious thinking about it

fuck off marvelfag

I wouldn't count Detective 1000 cause it was only a few pages and a one-off.

But he is doing Superman, Action, Walmart Batman, Young Justice, co-writing Naomi, and doing the Leviathan Event. His creator-owned stuff isn't on a set schedule as far as I know.

Jesus Christ those numbers are fucking awful.
I didn't realize that the hatred for Bendis was that strong. I sometimes underestimate you people.
Oh well not like I give a fuck if this dumbass gets booted off of DC or not.

Surprisingly he's not wrong. Superman books sometimes fell to the 40,000's in the last two decades. Hell, even the main Superman book was around the 30,000's in the early 00's, and in the late 00's (when World of New Krypton was going on), and even during the New 52 (like around the later years).

The problem here though, is that Bendis is a bigger name than all the other creators whose Superman comics hit the 40,000's or lower, so that's the reason there should be concern that it hit that level so fast.

This is the end, my only friend, the end.

Bendis? The comic writer?

Yes and my uncle works at Nintendo.

Bendis is there because of Didio. He has outright said Didiot offered him the book so that they can shit on Johns and Tomasi. KSD and Fraction are just there because of Bendis.

We are.

>CATWOMAN #9 43,952
that is a one time thing due to variant cover and the team being changed for this single issue to write a one shot

why does the american comic book industry continue to only produce sjw/feminist books and openly attack their white male customer base even through sales continue to go down?

How is Dial H doing, I really like that comic

How do Comic sales work????

This was clearly bait by a shill in order to have someone link the ICv2 thread.

Kill yourself. Big 2 numbers ARE in fact still down.
