I'm about to read this but what I don't get so far is how Robin thinks this is okay because kidnapping is a human rights violation everywhere. There is a reason we have laws, courts, cops, etc. The more responsible heroes are always turning the bad guys in and helping collect evidence against them, to PROVE they are bad.

They've written Slade to be very aware of the process, he probably knows this is illegal as fuck and wrong on Robin's part too, it's a lose/lose situation the writers don't seem to think about too much but maybe this will change my mind.

The worst part is, that we won't see Bruce finding out and sperging at him.

This is why I actually want to write super hero comics because I feel like they've reduced it down to some war between side good and side bad and completely forgotten what makes a criminal a criminal, where the law is, where vigilantes have to stand with it...

Robin has a point about villains getting away but the funny thing is writers never flesh out how the criminal justice system handles these people. DC has Arkham and seems to just shove all of Batman's rogues in there but where are their trials, where are their lawyers, etc etc?

That's an angle for stories that's never seen. Maybe they're getting off the hook and coming back since the hero just randomly dumps some costumed person on their door step who was apprehended by someone who didn't even read their Miranda rights.
