Just because power corrupts doesn't mean the other way around is true with corruption leading to power. Plenty of people like the girl in that story are both weak and malicious, and they have no power to actualize their immorality. Put another way you need to be fucked up to take out a gun and shoot random innocent people, but just being fucked up on its own isn't going to make a gun materialize into your hand. Vader can sense the emotions and to some extent the intentions of those around him, he could probably feel the obsession radiating off of the nurse for years. The Dark Side isn't inherently malevolent in itself. Even when offering temptations and visions, it also shows a lot of important truths to the person being affected. The reason the Sith were so bad was because they were taking the Dark Side and expanding it, which had a cancerous effect on the Force (which relies on the interaction between Darkness and Light) as a whole (it didn't help that the Sith outright wanted to control the Dark rather than merely utilize it).

Saying "the Dark Side did this" is like saying "their left arm did this". It's merely an aspect of the Force, which works its will through various means.

It's one of the reasons me and my dad loved the original trilogy too. But even disregarding that, his son and daughter were the last connections Vader had to his humanity. The very end of episode 3 was the last feasible moment for Anakin to truly act without it being obscured by his whole Vader-schtick.

I'm kinda glad that comic was released back in 2006 and nobody cares about it anymore. If it were more recent, it probably would've caused controversy about how dumb all the women in it are.
The first woman goes all Leeroy Jenkins and immediately gets killed. The second woman in the group leaked information about their meeting to Vader on purpose, but without consulting or warning the other jedi about it. And when Vader gets injured and claims to surrender, one of the characters says it's obviously a trick, but the last woman of the group argues that they can't kill an unarmed surrendered enemy because doing so would be dark side.

I think he doesn't want anyone to talk about his past or remind him of it. Seeing his face invites questions about what could've caused his injuries, and that topic opens up old wounds (Padme's death, Obi-Wan's supposed betrayal).
Also, I think the helmet helps him stay detached from the world and hide from everything that could hurt him. If you see his face, he looks like a miserable dying wreck. But he's an angry guy, and I don't think he wants anyone to approach him, or feel pity/sympathy for him. The helmet makes sure people can't see his face or expressions, so they'll be uncertain and intimidated in his company. This helps him keep everyone away.

However, he doesn't seem to react with violence every single time when someone sees his face. ESB had that scene where Piett saw the back of his head, but neither man reacted.
Maybe Vader's okay with people who know to keep their mouth shut about uncomfortable things. Piett was the guy who stood right there while Ozzel was strangled, and he also somehow got spared after the Millennium Falcon escaped. Both times he reacted with silence and tried very hard to keep his emotions contained in a terrifying situation. Photo-bashing methods were allowed in the challenge. The point of the challenge was to show off how you handle the tasks that concept artists do as their job, and the art isn't necessarily required to be that polished in concept art.

Does Hoth even have trees? Far as I recall it was just artic/tundra shit with ice and more ice. Either way, you'd think the escaping rebels would try something with a bit more strategic edge to it than just bumrushing the enemy. They've got some guns on their side, so surely they could try to hold up in a few spots to thin out the numbers and then move along if nobody else comes to them or they know a path to escape towards.

Yeah, the trees are one reason why I'm not totally sure if it's the Hoth scene or some other kind of scenario.

Whereas the women claiming to be incel have rules in their online communities about men not being allowed to try to hook up with them. So on the one hand you have your tortured attempt at a rationalization for male autists not being incel which said male autists aren't going to accomplish successfully (probably won't even find a prostitute and if they do there's STILL a good chance they'll get rejected because despite popular belief prostitutes are plenty capable of being picky and rejecting guys who creep them out). And on the other hand you have 100% disingenuous women who are actively turning down a constant influx of men trying to have sex with them.

You have twice as many female ancestors as male ancestors exactly because a small number of men have sex with a much larger number of women.

That's just one take on one challenge. I don't think that particular picture even won anything. A lot of the other entries in the contest were much better.

What you're trying to get at is the difference between a count and a distinct count. In this random string of characters for example:

There are six characters but only four distinct characters. When someone mentions the fact there are twice as many female ancestors as male ancestors they're talking about the distinct count of male ancestors where each distinct man only counts as one ancestor. Nobody has claimed there are mothers who birthed children without a father, and it's dishonest and weird that you would try to interpret it that way given the post you responded to already told you this:

What is even the point of trying to conflate distinct counts with non-distinct counts? If you recognize a smaller number of men are fathers to the children of a larger number of women then you understand what having twice as many female ancestors means.
