Hey Yea Forums, whats some good stuff to watch/read if you want to get into European style media? I've lived most of my life watching/reading American and Japanese stuff since I live in the states, but I want to broaden my horizons.

Also worth checking Heavy Metal (English version of the French Metal Hurlant magazine) for stuff of interest, such as François Boucq's works, pic related (The Adventures of Jerome Katzmeier Vol 1 The Walls have Teeth).
8 page storytime of The Adventures Of Jerome Moucherot-When Automobiles Laid Eggs - not seen posted in Yea Forums before

>recommending Die Laughing to a burger
Oh you.
And honestly, Dungeon is probably not good for a starter pack. Trondheims art isn't exactly topnotch and then there's the 4 unscanned books as well.
I remember Valerian
Clara de Noche
Based Bernet
>I come three times while you were talking
Thanks, user!
Also Yoko Tsuno. OP will love this.
I thought I'd let everyone know that the entirety of the Valerian and Laureline cartoon is up for free, and in an official manner, on youtube, in both its original French and (somewhat lacklustre) English dub. It's a very loose adaptation of the comics but I found it very good in its own right. If you can understand French, definitely give it a try. If you can't, try to power through the shitty dub but I won't blame you if you can't.
Anything from Cauvin
This and this and anything Chabouté.
Hi Cauvin
Hey folks thanks for the recommendations and helping a simple burger out, it really does warm the heart.
meh Cedric is really generic and derivative I think. There's so many good kid focus based bd around I doubt it will interest people there, not even for the Chinese loli. (that said this board like the bellybuttons so anything is possible)
Euros dont need fantasy, our history is weirder than the wildest machination of any human
That one kid looks like Blond Sivana.
Bernet is a boss.
>anything from Moebius
Currently reading...
you MUST watch "Adrian: La Serie Evento"
Sillage/Wake if you like Sci-fi, user.

Speaking of Metabarons, when are Eternaut 1&2 coming to the west?
I second this.

kek this

Jeremiah by Hermann is fucking great, and almost never mentioned in these threads
The towers of Bois-Mauri
I bet it's about a hunting party.
Actually, yes.
I want to read more european but it's fucking expensive. I don't know why english publishers doesn't compile things in omnibus format on really long series like Thorgal or XIII
They'd probably have to pay to license the integrale version as well.
I doubt there's that much of a market for people willing to buy both the individuals and the integrale version, at least not outside France/Belgium. Personally, an integrale is something I wouldn't buy unless it was a hardcover I could have on my shelf and I'd still be iffy about it if I had bought the individual tomes in digital.
>watch:
Asterix movies (2D and 3D ones)
Ernest and Celestine
My Life as a Zucchini
Dragon Hunters
Galactik Football
Wallace and Gromit
Soviet animated films and shows
Loving Vincent
Polish puppet version or new CGI Moominvalley
Chicken Run
When the Wind Blows
Watership Down

I like them Tintin books.
Eurocomics seem a bit harder to find and read nowadays.
Not really. Publishers are bringing more over these days, and without turning them into floppies like Marvel once did.
Blacksad.
Are there scans of this?
This thread just made my backlog and wishlist increase a fuckton
>Blast - Manu Larcenet
Your a cool dude. Ordinary Victories is great too.
What was this one I remember from a storytime here a few years ago: Ancient Greece detective and ending up in Atlantis which has Lizard people as part of it?
but are they the hunted or the hunters?
A far more hardcore Conan, it's great
Anyone have any Eurocomics that you want to read but can’t because they never brought it stateside?
I read this back in December. You find it on Bookgn.
each book is a different time period but continue the struggle of the Daughter of Lillith to put women in places of power. lots of nudity so that's a plus
and Volume 3 never ever, cause the writer lost his shit
Nico by Philippe Berthet. I'm glad more of his work have been getting translated to English lately and I hope see to more of them get English translation.
